      The Deceit of Religious Belief
The only people who listen to this nonsense have no standards to exclude nonsense.
And we are still dealing with this "think not I come with peace" nonsense.
The religious are ludicrous, avoided like the old women with too many cats.
Freud wrote the antidote to Christianity is literacy.
Nothing fails like prayers in a children's hospital.
Who sends their children to prophet trade-school?
If there were a god, then would there be any demand for scripture interpretations by various podium-jockeys using fantasyland vocabulary?
These are the religious, the wolves in sheep's clothing.
Even Jesus says faith is worthless or you could order mountains to move about.
The scam works with faith & prayers, suggesting we all should travel with one foot in their fantasyland.
Theologians acquire grand titles without certification from a deity, & project certainty using fantasyland vocabulary in an academic setting to compensate for lack of reason.
We really should address the social acceptance of large numbers of people speaking a fantasyland vocabulary & openly indulging in the deceit of religious belief as a tool of fascism.
It was secular law & order ending the inquisitions & witch-killings.
The Christians slapped their books on the Old Testament, & the Mormons glued theirs on to them both, thus proving Christians lack quality-control.
As if God does not have a perfect record of doing nothing, as if we had no reason for the saying: God helps those helping themselves.

The children of God are made in the light. That is born again. 1 john 1:7. Remade in the image of God is the proper understanding of made in the image of God. Life doesnt start until you know how to abide there and do so. Death called life is one lie that everyone tells in the darkness. 1 john 1:6.
This is the better sanctuary of the better covenants of the light of day and night on the flesh. Your worship is the better sacrifice, presenting your bodies a living sacrifice (and holy eventually) as your spiritual service of worship submitting to,the will of God (in the light) that WILL make men good, acceptable, and perfect.
Light is sown like a seed for the righteous. Psalm 97:11. This IS about salvation. The Lord is my light and my salvation.
In no condition is ALL flesh corrupted in their way in the darkness, despite their words thinking they have reaped righteousness and light from them.
Is everyone being told to walk in the light? Isaiah 30:20-30.
Immutable good consequences of the light, unforgivable consequences of the darkness (blasphemy of the spirit). Isaiah 45:7.
{5:6} Therefore have we erred from the way of truth, and the light of righteousness hath not shined unto us, and the sun of righteousness rose not upon us.
{5:7} We wearied ourselves in the way of wickedness and destruction: yea, we have gone through deserts, where there lay no way: but as for the way of the Lord, we have not known it.
      Eclipses the law: galatians 3:19.

It's not scripture, but there is a book of melchisedek, and it's an amazing read!! Melchisedek was the son of a king that had had in his heart to build a city of righteousness and of songs and made praise to God with beautiful music all the time, and perfected laws to follow. Melchisedeks' Dad adopted a son, Samael, that reminded him of his own son. Down the story, Samael decided that the laws were keeping them oppressed and that they were above the laws of the city. He led a rebellion against the king and son of Salem. The Son of Salem loved the people and His father so much that He went after Samael and the stolen kingdom's musical instrument and laws. It's amazing.

Chuck misses one important point regarding who Melchizedek is stating that he could not be a celestial being because he is called a man. The Word says by 2 or 3 witnesses a thing is established. I have 3 references where a celestial being is called a man which means Melchizedek is indeed a celestial being. He is the priest of the heavenly tabernacle and Jesus is now the High Priest. The Aaronic priesthood was a shadow, a copy, of the heavenly. Hebrews explains all that. The references to angelic beings being called a man are Daniel 9:21 the Archangel Gabriel called a man. Judges 13:6 The Angel of the Lord is called a man many times. Isa 14:16 calls the fallen Lucifer, Satan, a man. Easy to see that Melchizedek is indeed a celestial being. He is the priest of the heavenly tabernacle that God created in heaven and the earthly simply being a copy as he told Moses to make according to what God showed him (Heb 8:5)

Perhaps. But Jebusi (entrance into peace) was a place. And later I think it will be the threshing floor of Aruna the Jebusite that is chosen for the temple. We usually assume that only Abraham recognized the true God, but it isn't impossible that someone, somewhere (like Melchezedek) worshipped Jehovah/Yaweh.

Their are civilizations and religions the predate what we call Christianity. @mshopey32 When I was young, there was a theory called "the great apostrophe." We see history repeating itself in cycles suggesting such an event between verse 1 and 2. In fact, Daniel's equation of end times fits perfectly over the time of Noah's flood beginning with God's announcement of 120 years. Every living thing was dead exactly 120 years later (excepting what was on the ark.)The thought was that our planet existed following a destruction that left it "without form and void." The new creation was to "replenish" the earth. I find this this very likely. The beginning we are aware of didn't last many generations before "marrying, giving in marriage. and other disobedience resulted in destruction. Nineveh and the several towns surrounding Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed. Nearly every town in Canaan destroyed--every man, woman, child and beast. We have no idea how many other people's were wiped out and we expect a similar end to it all. (I suspect these destructions had something to do with the pollution of DNA or some spiritual equivalent of DNA.) There is nothing in scripture to explain a pre-existent world. But neither is there any information about what life will be like in our next existence. Faith is sufficient (and archeology helps)

Kinda highlights the process in which groups are taught to reject the progression of revelations when they are offended. So if the adherents to divine revelation clung to the teachings of the descendants of the remnant of Sodom, and thus believed that the lack of hospitality was their primary sin that had prompted destruction from heaven. Or it might be the exact opposite- the survivors knew the sexual lasciviousness of the inhabitants and judged the heavenly destruction as righteous and codified by the Lord Most High. The fact that such laws shaped gentile morality even before the tribes of Israel came into being actually confirms Paul's teachings that if the gentiles are obeying God's laws having not received the law of Moses, then making them one people /Jews and gentiles in all the lands that the Jews had come to dwell required that prophecy be fulfilled and all prior labors toward the kingdom of God come to fruition for both Jews and Gentiles.

Melkezedek and the mystery of no genealogical record.
It is a prelude to the second coming of Jeshua
He will appear not born this time. Hallelujah, for it, has a twofold meaning. As there are two sheep, Folds .
Secrets in the paid tithe, the 7 churches fit that picture, for they are in heaven. To rule as kings and priests with King David, in heaven as it is on earth. "

And Jerusalem riegn on the earth as Israel. That is the it is finished " Jeshua gave up the ghost for. Act 17: 11

Abraham was described with the adjective "hebrew" which had nothing to do with his lineage. In the language of the speaker the word described Abraham as having multiple graces or abilities, or perhaps troops. There is a tradition in Judaiic writings to title a work by its first words. The first word of the book of Hebrews is polymer (πολυμερως.) Multiportioned.

Excellent lesson but I'm amazed that he couldn't pronounce most of the kings names in Genesis 14.
It was like it was his 1st time even reading them.
Dr Ken Johnson's and Les Feldick are also excellent strictly bible teachers.
They get to the point of scriptures a little more quickly.
Ken as a multi language translator, knows more about Melchizedek, Chedorlaomer, ancient manuscripts, Apocryphal books, the 100 plus Biblically endorsed books mentioned in scriptures and the DeadSea scrolls than anyone in the past century.
Melchizedek was a priest and king and ONLY him, David and Jesus ARE BOTH.
Yes Melchizedek order is above the Levi and Aaron's priesthoods.
Also, Melchizedek and Jesus are not limited in years of service as Levi's priests are.
They serve for life not just 30 years and since Jesus will never die again, He is the FOREVER priest and king as SO MANY scriptures state.
Paul in Hebrews 7: 17 listed Jesus as a priest after the order of Melchizedek also so the Genesis verse wouldn't have been lost if Psalm 110 had not mentioned it.
We the church believers are also called Kings AND Priests !
I'm amazed how pastors Forget Noah's close relationship with God and his great grandfather Enoch.
It's not like they stepped off the ARK and forgot about God !
Noah and Shem set up the School of Prophets that Melchizedek oversaw.

I have to respectfully disagree with Chuck it is very clear that Hebrews is for the jew who tasted who saw but was not committing themselves to Jesus Christ, that is why Paul says in the Hebrews chapter 6 verses for for the case of those who have once been enlightened and have tasted of the heavenly gift that Ben made partakers of the holy Spirit and I've tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come and then have fallen away it is impossible to renew them again to repentance since they again crucify to themselves the son of God and put him to open shame for ground that drinks the rain which often falls on it and brings forth equitation useful to those for whose sake it is also tilled receives a blessing from God but if it yields thorns and thistles it is worthless and close and it ends up being burned.

    • @Redeemd
      @Redeemd 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

@rubesco5928 I respectfully disagree with your disagreement. Inseparably imbedded in Scripture is the fact that once a person is born again, they are eternally secure in Christ. There is the possibility of repentance in the heart of the believer, as well as in the unbeliever. If a believer fails to repent of besetting sin, and continues beyond God's patience and long suffering chastening, He simply calls them home. They lose rewards, just as Brother Missler said. You may debate many topics in God's word--keeping in mind that He is always right--but the security of the believer is not among those topics. Jew or Gentile, we are kept by the power of God. If you believe He is unable to keep us, you need to study further.

King of righteousness describes Jesus. Chuck keeps referring to Abraham and the covenants as jewish. There was no tribe of judah (jews) until abrahams great grandchildren were born and grown men. There are twelve tribes of Israel of which Abraham (the father of the faith) is the father of. We are grafted into the root of israel not just Judah. Galatians 3:6-9. Jesus was born into the tribe of Judah. He is the rock that gave the commandments on mount sinai. 1 Cor. 10:1-4. Jesus said if you love me keep my commandments. John 14:15 1 John 5:1-3. Tackle chuck andvevery other Sunday preacher on their breakingbthe 4th commandment and He will tell you things like they were nailed to the cross, they are for the jews only, we worship/rest every day etc. These are man made excuses and justifications for disobeying God Jesus our Lord. Now The Sabbath and Holy days are the sign that Jesus is our Lord. Exodus 31:13. So what Lord are you following by going to church on the first day of the week? The bible is very clear Jesus did not rise on Sunday. And even if He had its is not biblical to have sunday as your Sabbath. The Catholic church openly claim they changed the day of worship. They call this act their MARK of authority. For this reason they call themselves the mother church andvthe protestant churches their daughters. Revelation 17:5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
beware of false prophets. They sound real good but will lead you into the grave/ditch.
