Nice video. I used 30-06 Springfield and 270 Winchester brass for making 8mm Mauser and 7mm Mauser several decades ago. I would have used 30-06 Springfield or 270 Winchester brass, unless you found your brand new 25-06 Remington brass less expensive. Once you cut the neck off and resize in the 7mm Mauser full length sizing die the original neck diameter doesn't matter. I've found Redding Imperial Sizing Wax is the best for wildcat case forming. I also reform 243 Winchester brass into 22-250 Remington brass when it wasn't available or too expensive. I'm always of the lookout for 6.5 Creedmoor with small primer pockets to neck size into 22-250 Remington brass.
