Thanks for this!! Do you know whether the One RS can do gapless recording? With the 360 module, the One R momentarily stops recording after 30 minutes, and starts the next video file - but it leaves an unrecorded gap of around 30s between the two files. Does the One RS also do that?

Hello, Can you add Presets instead of changing it all the time? I like to motovlog, but if I'm filming in the daytime up on the twisties I would like to keep that setting and then go to my next Preset for night time without changing my settings.

Best360 monopod is designed to reduce the footprint of the monopod in the 360 video. And also includes weight to reduce the chance of the monopod falling over. You can use other monopods but their selfie stick might be too thick or the legs might be unstable or the monopod is too light and will get blown over by the wind
Hi Shanil Please can you advise: I have the Insta 360 one x2. I am a dog groomer and I want to video my dog grooms which is why I have purchased your tripod which is fantastic - arrived today, so easy to set up. I want to keep these videos of my grooms in some kind of order say in Apple notes so that I can refer to them, but the true footgage of 360 cannot be experienced there. Where is the best place to keep this footage for my personal use. I did want to avoid the expense of Final Cut Pro and the like, but will succumb if i have to. Is there any way round getting 360 footage into a personal kind of app for me. I have downloaded Insta 360 studio 2022 as I have the new MacBook Pro 14 inch, but the imports from the SD card do not stay on the 360 Studio when i take the card out, unless i am doing something wrong. This is such a learning curve all of this, but your videos are lifesavers. Really appreciate what you're doing.
Hi Ann! Glad you're enjoying the monopod 😀. I would recommend buying an external hard drive so you can back up the videos from the sd card. And then you can refer to the videos in Insta360 Studio when you need a clip. Hope this helps!
In camera Flow State stabilization was added to the One R via software update so you can now use Flow State in camera on the older model. Its not quite the same as post process Flow State but works well.
I just purchased a GoPro Hero 9 Black a week ago on Amazon and now I'm wondering if I should return it and spend the extra $220 for the Insta360 ONE RS Twin Edition. How does the Insta360 4k lens compare to the Hero 9 Black? Also, can the 360 lens produce the same quality flat footage after cropping in post processing? I like the idea of having multiple angles to chose from but not sure if it would look inferior to Hero footage.
You can only get up to 1080p video with 5.7k 360 video. But it’s hard to see the quality difference between 4k mod and 360 mod on mobile. It’s only noticeable on a big screen. The 4k mod is a nice lens. The video looks great. Hope this helps!

To make the two cameras comparable, you must purchase the 1-inch mod and even then the stabilizing feature isn't as good as the hero 9. So, unless someone really needs the 360 feature, they should go with the hero 9 at less money out of pocket @ $330 vs $520 for the Insta360 ONE R Twin Edition plus another $300 for the 1-inch mod. I haven't compared the Hero 10 to the Insta360 ONE RS yet but I'm betting the differences between the two are similar to their predecessors, both in quality and price.
Next upgrade needs to be A.I software that recognises and eliminates the shadow cast by the camera and mounts/selfie sticks. I'd also like the moon on a stick please 😊
Its a single 360 camera body built especially for 360. The tall and thin camera design is best to get minimal stitch line errors. There is no cage soo it’s easy to swap out batteries and less bulk. The 1/4”-20 thread at the bottom will ensure you get the invisible selfie stick effect. This is not guaranteed with one RS because it can flex

X2 is the best 360 camera in terms of its tall and thin body shape, and overall usability is quicker and easier without a cage. The stitch line is better because it’s thinner. But ONE RS is newer and gives you the best of both worlds. And you can swap out the 360 mod in case you break it. If you plan to film 360 90% of the time then I would go X2. Otherwise go for ONE RS. Hope this helps!

Good video as always. Meh on the upgrade. I have a GoPro 7, 9 and 10 and in spite of getting the Twin edition have never used the 4K lens. Not once. So you can imagine this update was almost meaningless for me. If they new housing fit my existing batteries I would have bought the updated brains and housing but with three batteries for my 1R, even that does not make sense. Disappointed. Maybe when they bump it to 8K...

Mmm best to ask insta360 directly which version they are selling. I think they discontinued the twist lock one but need to double check

Mmm i think the gps remote is the most accurate way to get gps data. Not sure if it’s the watch not getting the data accurately

You can use either lens but it must be in the mounting bracket to be fully waterproof

Snap wizard is a bit weird. So you can’t add multiple clips edited from snap wizard into a story. Only 1 snap wizard edit can be imported into a story
