Those “shadows” is an advantage. But it’s a Massive FPS hit. If you don’t have a great processor do not use high shadows you can get up to 60-80 more fps with this on low. It’s only ok for people who have a good set up then it’s worth it
I use only pointers above my teammates heads, then bind the teammate equipment keybind on space. If I want to know what people have I just hold down space 0.5 seconds
Hey Fl0m, i had same issue as you, played 2560x1440 and it was hard to spot some pixels at distance, in a weird way, i switched to ultrawide monitor which has 3440x1440 native res, so i play 2560x1440 but i stretch it to 21:9 ratio and its flawless, its like 4:3 stretched but with 1440p clarity. haha
I do something very similar with my 2560x1080 monitor, switching to 1920x1080 in-game as well as in Nvidia control panel. It provides enough visual clarity to be enjoyable while also not being way too stretched that it becomes disorienting. Yours probably has the same look just on a bigger screen. Can't believe I've been playing on native all this time
Any noticeable benefits from moving to a 1440p monitor from 1080p ? I don't think there should be any considering he's playing on a 1080p ish resolution
ive been playing 16:9 at 1440p, but ill be giving 16:10 a shot. for science of course. for me there is an improvement in finer details.. its easier to see really small things like movement through pixel gaps. you can force a higher 16:10 res, but it fights you tooth and nail. that res being 2304:1440 or 2300:1440 if you prefer round numbers. i run a 4080 paired with a 7950x and also get about 400 fps average at the full 16:9 res. i wouldn't suggest a 2k monitor for games like cs unless you have similar specs.
Hey, Flom! If you want to try out this resolution, I think you would like it. It's 1080x1080 and it's also a 16:10 ratio, just like your 1920x1200 resolution. If you do use it, could you make a short video about it? Much appreciated, and love, man!
As a GD player timings have never been an issue for me but if you struggle to consistently crouch jump then try crouching 1 frame before your jump, instead of crouching *after* you jump. This actually gives you more height, some crouch jumps like firebox on mirage are impossible to do it that way.
Fl0m i just wanna let you know I was in your stream chat few days ago and I was going to absolutely tear you apart over the username you picked but then I googled you and realized its your last name and I felt wicked. I've felt guilty. Please forgive me
It's a bug, just switch around from 16:9 to 16:10 but don't apply it, then go back to your resolution - you should now be able to go up to 240 hz, click apply, done. This worked for me.
Bro I have all settings low and I still see shadows and everything;)))) same shit, but if you have a good pc turn them all to very high, game looks better
It's pretty fucked up rn if you don't have a really high end pc you can't get enough fps for a 240hz monitor if you want to have very high shadows. Literally P2W.
you can set shadows to the very minimum if you want and still be able to see player shadows, just need to manually change one line in settings file to enable dynamic shadows… without any performance impact 😅
This guide is a bit fake because it is unnecessary to make these settings if you do not have a good PC. That's why he doesn't know Fl0m because he doesn't understand computers
This video was uploaded an hour ago. Its already outdated. I'm mad that its not new enough! Upload another, right NOW!!!!1!!!11!1!
Thx flom for showing setting and giving credit to ppl that inspired them
Whats good fl0m! Keep killing the leader boards bro!

Dedicated crouch jump, but you're not into null binds. Where do we draw the line and why?
Thanks flom, I going to try some of that. Some of it I didnt even know about.

Nice video! Low Latency in NCP and Reflex doesn't stack though?
Reflex always overrides any NCP low latency setting. They don't stack. fl0m is mistaken on this.

that sounds sick.
Very cool, thanks.
So what youre saying is fl0m to level 5 when CS2 gets rid of custom binds?!
how to bind forward jump and croach jump?
1440x1080 is the goated res imo.
any way to remove the insane blinking when tabbing out with that ress. Get like 2 freezes and 2 blinks everytime i tab in and out
@@mahjiza4810 that's annoying! Have you tried scaling it on either gpu or monitor? Or update the drivers?
@@mahjiza4810 Set the same resolution for desktop as the cs2.

1080x1080 is a 1:1 ratio
Why 1920x1200 and not 2304x1440? The latter would be the highest res for 1440p and also 16:10.
Im looking forward to 2025 settings, lets hope its playable then
Please fl0m0m0m can you show us how to do binds!?!?!? I’ve never done them in the past and I’m now ~lvl 6 I could probably use them
The team colors are bugged, they won't show on the scoreboard, when you select that if you have them off on the radar.
TY

After I switched to LR isolation 50% I felt like I could flick to enemies I couldn't even see, it's that clear. Like I can track them by sound alone.
anybody know, specifically, what monitor he is using? i'd like to know the monitor native resolution for definite. is it just a Zowie XL2546K ?
3:03 What the command icon transparent? thanks a lot!
played 1920 x 1200 on csgo for yearssss
4:3 1280x980 gang
Nice explanation fl0m...
Why don't you try a typical MM with max fps capped at 45fps (
other than the mwheel jump cant get the other binds to work
how did you make the other binds?
Hi l have a question what about monitor setting is it defult or like more brithness or somthing?
always open overdrive mode high hz good or mprt=on makes low latency my english sucks
why set low latency on ultra in nvcp when you enabled it ingame in cs2?
doesnt matter, will get overwritten anyway
I was told Crouch Jump bind was not necessary?
Well if you are actually not small brained like us when it comes to timing then no. If so, yes this makes it a bit easier 😅
As a GD player timings have never been an issue for me but if you struggle to consistently crouch jump then try crouching 1 frame before your jump, instead of crouching *after* you jump. This actually gives you more height, some crouch jumps like firebox on mirage are impossible to do it that way.

I don't have 1920x1200. Is that something custom?
For some reason the same thing happened to me.
What I did was add -vulkan to my cs2 launch option on steam. Hope this works for you in the meantime 👍🏻
Damn, these are more boomer settings then I use, impressive ;)
Does any1 know why i cannot get 240Hz in game? I have 240 on desktop and nvidia but when i open the game i cannot go over 75Hz, PLEASE HELP ME
Same here , but the fix is , reset setting in csgo graphics DONE 🎉🎉 PLZ say if it helped you

you need to try setting scaling on display and test.. then try scaling on GPU.. also check if aspect ratio is on the top (1st setting)
how do you put resolution on 1920x1200????
Create a custom res in nvcp
Ask shroud to make one😊
