      Just to piggyback on this. It may end up changing with MR12 or if they change more about the economy, but lots of people desperately need help with when to save and when to force based on loss bonus. The majority of players think you save after losing one round and then buy in the following no matter the loss bonus.

    The obvious grain of salt that needs to be considered is when you peek farther than the initial angle, it can open you from other angles (inferno porch-side on mid, coffin on B site from banana)
    But otherwise great content

    • @DeathlabelCSS
      @DeathlabelCSS ปีที่แล้ว

      well yea this is a video simply about angles you are actively taking a fight on, obviously a smoke porch side is a great idea if taking up arch side fights, or a second mate there covering porch/boiler as you take the fight, he can also quickly swing and trade if needed.

  • @Macop
    @Macop ปีที่แล้ว +1

    One thing that could've been worth mentioning is that if you wide an angle to "pass their angle" is that you strafe wide and expose yourself to other angles that the opponent might be standing at. So going wide past an angle should only be done if you know exactly where the opponent is holding and you know that you will position yourself in a way that forces the opponent to move to get you in their sights again.
    Other than that, very solid video! I feel that many people (me included) often misjudge at what point our shoulder would be visible to the opponent before we can see them (i.e. when we are too close to a wall/cover and stick out slightly), so the first point is something I feel a lot more players should practice.

    • @redforest3740
      @redforest3740 ปีที่แล้ว

      You anticipate him peeking and shoot before he does (your reaction time decreases tremendously when anticipating something). Also you never actually stay stationary like he did in the clip, you're always shifting side to side. If he doesn't peek then you simply figure out your next move--and keep in mind they're a smart player who doesn't take bad fights on your terms. Don't get baited

    more important than your peek speed up close to the corner vs far away is in your example around @2:06 when youre far away from the peek corner your shadow shows up on the wall behind you slightly before you can be seen. so far away youre moving slower and your shadow is giving away your presence before your models body is. lighting is another game mechanic you can use to gain an edge if you know how it works and how to take advantage of it.

      jiggle peek close to the wall and prefire the angle, if your opponent holding top banana is a little too exposed you will hit the prefire most of the time if you correctly counter-strafe and know how to keep your crosshair head level
      also once you either bait them out and kill them or they retreat early back towards CT, you can peek coffin and try to get a kill either on the guy holding close to the left on site or on coffin, but you will possibly die if you're entrying and need to be traded by a teammate supporting you

Trust me. Especially gungame, deathmatches, OR playing in fy_ maps and aim_ maps. and here and there, play many different maps, don't always play the same one. BUT play the same one really only if you are having fun, just make sure you're enjoying the game and have LOTS of action available, not where you have to wait every round until everyone is dead, because all that is losing time of actually learning yourself instead of watching.

      Yeah , its just easier to know how much body you are showing.
      He compared full send closer vs stopping far what makes no sense for comparison.
      But what he actually mean(I think) is if the enemy is holding a tight angle if you pass closer to him you will pass more rapidly through the crosshair ( try to imagine a cone of vision)
      But I dont think he showed this part correctly in the video.
      Rule :
      This is is vision "\/"
      if you want to not peak but just pass by : closer should be easier .
      if you want to peak : far away is better.

    1:13 and than... after you peek like this, you get shotted to your back by player on short.. you cannot peek like this incase there´s not a smoke onshort

    Problem is that the enemy never peek like you showed in the examples. That only happens in high elo faceit matches, but never in normal comp matches

    Might just be the way you have the videos synced up, but it seems after stepping past his view, even when you're further away, he still sees you before you see him.

    With the pace of updates I don't even know if it's still the case due to not playing for a couple weeks, but a video on the massive peeker's advantage would help a lot of people who die trying to hold angles.

    Common knowledge like this would be very useful if you didn't immediately get destroyed the exact millisecond any part of my body becomes visible lmao. cs2 basically proves that I'm getting too old for video games.

    1:15 doesnt seem correct because he can see you and he isnt on your screen at all. It isn't out of sync between both perspectives because he saw you peek out when you did.
