There is a glitch to level athletics if you don't already know, get the berseker cyberware, activate it, do a melee attack and open the menu for like crafting and stuff. Then just sit and wait as it levels.
On Patch 1.31 this method seems to have been nerfed a bit. Two things that have changed: the tranq darts have a cooldown after a couple of shots, and the experience/street cred gain from killing these mobs doesn't seem to be as drastic as before. Additionally, I had problems with getting a police warrant.

Okay, before watching any farming videos WHATSOEVER, I magically found this exact SAME farming route last night!!!! What are the odds!? This game is huge! HOW? freakin out man. LOL
The only issue I was having is the cops would come after me if I accidentally killed a civilian and a crime gets reported. But I figured out that if you just run into a clothing store, they will call of the chase and no longer Pursue you. Just a little hint Incase anyone else had similar issue.

@@damianogiolitti3416 yes - ive tested it. but sometimes a slight bit of cover will prevent them from getting darted even with the smartlink but that has nothign to do with the latest patch.
Yeah there is a bit of a step to complete before you start this run lol but in terms of raw levels per hour it can't be beat, referring to both Street Cred AND Player Level, sadly.
At present you don't get the double xp for killing targets after incapacitating them. Also the enemy refresh/reload distance has increased so this farming loop may not work without increasing your route. I tend to link both loops together with other groups in between. I tend to do a lopsided giant loop that takes me from the beach at the northwest end of Pacifica down to the southeast area and then back up the beach. It covers a large portion of Pacifica, but also helps increase Athletics skill. Instead of running toward the pier, there's a set of stairs on the right with a group of enemies at the top. Keep heading southeast and you can find a route that has groups of enemies every few hundred yards that will take you to the clothing store in the first portion of this video.
Just a quick note for anyone who does not know equipping the "Target Analysis" eye mod will make all weapons including mantis blades non lethal and disables the mantis blade jump kill animation so you can still do the leap but no kill animation will play after you hit.
That would almost justify the street level perks magnification... because I mean, if you’re beginning from 0 those guys would technically be hard but as you scale up by edgerunning the people you encounter would necessarily become harder to fight than street level troggs...

I found a legendary Nomad jacket (it literally has Nomad in its item name). Almost directly West of the Regional Airport Fast Travel marker, on the map there is a tiny single red mark, go to it. This isolated red mark is a Trailer and next to the trailer is a underground bunker that you have to have 13 Body to open, inside is the legendary Nomad jacket. There is also some other stuff like a Katana but my game is glitched and I can't pick up several items including the Katana.
for anyone who found this as they're starting up a new game you'll need about 36,990 eurodollars in costs to get started; 540 for the tranq rounds, 15,450 for the launcher and 21,000 to pay off Vik so he'll actually let you buy the launcher which shouldn't be too difficult to get between doing side missions and various crime reports to grind up Street Cred to 20
Or, using the dupe glitch and being careful not to have too much stuff in your inventory at any one time, you can get 100,000 eddies, starting from the end of the prologue, in less than 20 minutes. I timed myself.
I went through the first just doing side missions, crime-hunting missions, and main missions. Should end up with 150k Eddies by the end in a 4-6 hour period.

1.) Yes it runs on 1.6 & 1.61; and probably forever (it's actually intended to work this way the game). 2.) Sleep in your apartment for an XP buff. 3.) If enemies don't respawn, it's a distance thing. (I place a marker on the clothes shop and drive 225m away - the direction OPPOSITE of the run, then drive right back and everything respawns). 4.) You don't need some fancy build, just use whatever you want (just remember resources for ammo n' stuff, or dupe glitch - so I used a blade instead). 4.5) The game works on modifiers of your level. If they're a high threat level to you it's going to be a struggle. There are other locations for every level. If I had to guess, I would recommend level 12+(?) for Pacifica. 24 for El Coyote, etc. Just know, that even at LV24 I've gained 3 levels in about 40 minutes. I can't imagine being LV40+, it must take forever. There are enough side gigs and missions so you don't have to do this; but it's great XP for weapon XP specifically.
certain enemies have a bounty on their head and only when you kill them do you collect it, not when you down them. and this is the "double" experience. you don't get any weapon skills due to the fact they are already down and any damage would kill them
as of 1.2 for me so far, at about 6:20, if u run up the steps, the first group in the rotation wont respawn. instead, go to the left around the corner a bit, there will be 2 netrunners, kill them the same way, run a bit straight again, then turn around and run up the steps and continue as normal edit: samething as u end the rotation back at the start. after u kill the first group, run to the left towards the building/down the street a bit and come back
Up your difficulty to hard. Drop the projectile launcher, its garbage. Use the target analysis mod from viktor on your optics. Make sure you shoot them again after they drop loot. You'll get over 100xp per group. Not super fast, but it's essentially double xp.
I usually do the pacifica run, in the surrounds of the ripperdoc there. Give a try, I maxed all my street cred in 1 hour. But leveling the other stuff is not that fast...
Playing it on Patch 1.52 I have found that while Street-Cred gaining is easy, Leveling Up is quite slow. Even on Very Hard. I tried the Beach Route. It works as instructed.
Update: I have since backed-up all my saves and tried to WeMod it. It seemed stable, then I got too greedy and turned up the XP multiplier too high and my game crashed. I will get back to you with a stable way.
I’m having a hard time at this. It’s extremely glitchy and the arm cannon won’t shoot half the time. When it does, the enemy doesn’t go down. It’s frustrating more than anything. Still trying.
As of 10/15/2021 this strat still works and I’m thankful I came along this video so I could more easily and quickly get to my end game Netrunner build. Awesome!
Does it still work now cause they are not respawning at all for me. Didnt finish the quest line either so they should come back. Edit : ok they spawn back after a while. What i did notice is that killing with weapon after knocking them out doesnt count towards my weapon exp.

Nah, silenced revolver is much stronger. Can literally crit someone for 100k+ headshot damage with the right perks from having level 20 reflex and your handgun tree + some stealth perks and even more from cold blood even without relying on stealth or even just doing normal body shots does hella damage along with a revolver not being as time consuming to use as the launcher
@@firstspectre3928 No I'm not O.o With the revolver + that chip that makes all your weapons non-lethal, you can do this strat faster. That's what I've been doing and I'm leveling faster than using this buggy launcher.
You can also use this farm to get infinite "black-market battery" legendary cyberware mods. Either use them or scrap for free legendary components. You can either use fortified ankles to jump over the red crate at 3:40. Alternatively run up the stairs at 5:04 and turn left until you're above the red crate then walk to the other side of the building. Kill all 3 of the melee fighters that stand around bikes and there is your legendary. (The fortified ankles route saves a lot of time)

Not sure how it is on PC but it worked door me. I only run into drones if Civilians are passing but and get hit in the midst of the fire. Just finished Street Cred :)
@@gurnoorsekhon6402 None of the ammo for that attachment uses ammo. So it isn't broken. It also isn't overpowered because it does exactly what it's supposed to. Tranquilize whoever is shot with it. I don't see why everyone whines about weapons doing what they're supposed to in games.
I'm sure lots of people know about this, but I haven't seen it anywhere, so I figured I'd drop this idea for leveling other skills. Engineering is another skill that's a PITA to level, especially early on when you don't really have much in the way of tech weapons to fully charge and use. However, on most "Organized Crime" locations, there are lots of cameras around. Don't shut them down through Quickhacking. That's a skill that's pretty easy to level. Instead, once all of the enemies in the area are dead, run around and physically shut them down using your Technical attribute. That'll level engineering. It's not super fast, but it's the biggest gain I've found, and it's fairly consistent.
@@alphabromega859 not only on steam. I enjoy it alot on my PS5 too never had a lag and runs smolth like butter. Of course it had a couple bugs and it crashed a few times but it didn't ruin my experience at all because the game quicksaves every 2 or 3 minutes. Finished the game yesterday and loved the ending

It's hard to level with out doing main missions. But street cred you can be max in say 30 hours or so I'm 18 in playing 3/4 Hours at night already 30 street cred but only level 14 lol In the middle of avoiding a certin diner lol
Oh an interesting change you can get the Lizzie before the quest now. Got to level 18, 42 Street cred (got bored of sides mission figured fuck it ) talked at tom diner and When tto lizzie's to Talk to Judy and to start the finding evelynn quests and the lizzie was already there so Sweet ^^
Just doing side quests and those assault and gang activity events, I hit level 16 and had 32 street cred before I even did the Arasaka heist with Jackie.
I'm lvl 50 street cred just by playing the game and lvl 30 xp, it's very much longer to lvl up xp and this video doesnt help at all. Also putting yourself in very hard mode doesnt help either cause unless you have insane gear you get oneshotted by every ennemy in the game. Only way to survive is to have 20 body skills and max armor which is not possible since you CANT get epic armadillos before lvl 35 now and if you didnt invest in body skills then your health pool is really low.
@@mcstealth0084 You cant sneak if you dont have some cool investments which is not my case. Do the silencer totally remove the sounds? Or like in real life ?
There is no double XP at least not any more so don't bother to finish them off. And it's way faster to just go through them from distance and do a larger loop so enemies could respawn.

Remember at the beginning of the game when you encounter trauma service and they immediately eff you up... I mean hijacking a trauma team by illiciting a fake callout service and then doing something I dunno, using the trauma AV-4 to stage some kind of heist at a penthouse or some shit...
Right? You could use something like “cyberpsychosis” to cause a member of staff in the building to go nuts, get killed, allowing the “trauma team” to land and get to work.

You just have to dead 1 a person... again, another thing that doesn’t seem to find a clear proxy in the manner in which you play the game... I would think it would be some kind of explicit NPC maybe the person who approaches you about the mission... or somebody they kidnap... you have to control the scenario... you don’t want cops too or MAX-TAC...

There is a spot between the Rancho Coronado North and Trailer Park fast travel point which is around the northern sell point between those two. To be more detailed on the position: The Coronado North point will take you to what seems to have been a big bus station before. With the fast travel point in your back head to the left. There you will find a sell point at a gas station. Now if you look on the map you can go north and slightly to the east on the map to find a second sell point close to this one at the gas station. That is where you want to go. Once you have arrived at this location make sure it is night time. So somewhere between 22 and 03 or so. Now standing at the sell point you head to the right looking at the sell point. There will be 3 enemies standing having some bbq. Kill those and from here head to the basketball court with a small platform where there will be like 6 enemies in a group. Kill those and if you did not already aggro them proceed to the closeby parking lot with another 5 enemies on it. From here looking at the street from the parking lot look to the left and follow the road below the more distant bridge rather than the close bridge on the right. Behind this bridge you will keep following the road until you find 3 enemies in a ruin around a burning barrel. Kill those and head back to the first 3 enemies having bbq. Everyone will keep respawning doing this route. Once used to it is really quick plus it has the upside that you can quite effectively farm eddies without using glitches or can dismantling. You can just loot everyone you kill and sell it right at the sell point once your inventory is full. Lots of exp plus around 250k eddies on avg per like 30-40mins. Sorry for the complex explanation but that‘s the best I can do without a video or screenshots to show.
First of all: no difference between xp gained on hard vs very hard. Second, a cheaper and faster method is to equip the Target Analysis mod to your optics. You can pick this up from Vik. It makes all weapons non-lethal, so it will incapacitate the enemies before you kill them. In turn this also doubled the xp for the skill of your weapon of choice. Happy farming :)
UPDATE: The tranquilliser rounds have been removed and the projectile launch system now has 4 different variations instead of different ammo for the one launcher.
working on patch 1.6. if i may add - go sleep in your apartment so that you'll get an hour of exp boost (that is 20% boost) so that you get the most of this. thank you!
If you jump onto the stores roof and then hop on the platform behind the store you ll find another pack of 3 enemies, 1 of them drops a legendary cyberware upgrade everytime you kill it , i suggest doing those enemies too, extemely easy to get there as long as you have upgraded legs + you can just walk right and you re on top of the bridge youd otherwise take the stairs for so it doesnt make the route much longer
I got this to work. I think I hit the scroll wheel so it switched to my weapon, then it must have glitched. Later when I restarted the game it was working perfectly even if I accidentally scrolled out to a weapon. Well, it almost works perfectly, every now and then I let go of the scroll wheel to fire and it just retracts.
@@TemperWolfYT I mean I'm playing legit I'm just saying that currently the more you play on a save the closer you get to the 8MB save limit that's set, once you get to that limit your file will corrupt.

Hope this still works, im on my 2nd playthrough, didnt go for %100 first and i did use a trainer, learning game and mostly did story only, now i know what build i really want im doing a proper %100, i do enjoy the game and i think it is very good despite its rocky release, runs great and looks great on high end pc. Liked and subbed, this method looks great.
8:25 well they may not patch it out but they can alter the area to make it a bit harder. Now a few groups never respawn and to get enemies to respawn you have to drive a block away. Sure, this method still works, but it is less effective now so to get the levels you are seeing takes a full run or even a run and a half now. and it is about 1 min longer just for your run because of the 20ish seconds you drive away and the 20 to drive back plus the animations of getting in and out of vehicle. Below explains the changes that turned this run into a much bigger chore. Edit: Oh and missile system now is a 3 shot item before a cooldown. If you fire slow enough you wont trigger a cooldown, but slow means about 5 or 6 seconds between each shot. Very hard to do when one doesnt proc the take down, so that means the run is even slower still for low levels. What would take 4 mins now takes 10. I suggest people do this in small doses, like run it for 30 mins go play the game then jump back and do it again for 30 mins. spending hours to level up here killed the game for me so this playthrough I'll just bump street from 20 to 30 and then play a bit
I am on PC and I can confirm that this still works. However, it does seem like some aiming is required and is not as easy as shown in the video...that or I am a horrible shot. The tranq darts do not seem to be an AOE attack and do not smart target, so it is easy to miss. This is most likely why there are a lot of comments saying that it no longer is a one-shot. Just make sure you are following up and killing them after hitting them with tranqs.

yeah thought so. i run this on patch 1.52. i dont gain as much street creds or level up as he does.

I noted also when playing that this is pretty much the only area where there are gang members on almost every corner but I never thought of farming

don't forget, this is an old-school saving method, so you can quicksave to your heart's content. This will make your runs even faster.
another tip that goes with this strategy add a silancer to your weapon and level up stealth.

How to farm street cred: First you need 20 street cred.
Doesn't take more than an hour just taking out the ncpd assaults in progress in japan town after talking to dex.

You do not need to pay victor off at all, there is another ripper doc who sells the rare launcher for 15k.

I was doing this yesterday, and noticed that when killing them a second time after they were unconscious, I wasn't getting any XP for my gun or blade.

I usually do the pacifica run, in the surrounds of the ripperdoc there. Give a try, I maxed all my street cred in 1 hour. But leveling the other stuff is not that fast...

I have found that while Street-Cred gaining is easy, Leveling Up is quite slow. Even on Very Hard.
I tried the Beach Route. It works as instructed.
Update: I have since backed-up all my saves and tried to WeMod it. It seemed stable, then I got too greedy and turned up the XP multiplier too high and my game crashed. I will get back to you with a stable way.
Update: You can crank the multiplier as high as you want. I would not recommend you crank it over 8.0.
I would also recommend to Crank it gradually.
I’m having a hard time at this. It’s extremely glitchy and the arm cannon won’t shoot half the time. When it does, the enemy doesn’t go down. It’s frustrating more than anything. Still trying.

Does it still work now cause they are not respawning at all for me. Didnt finish the quest line either so they should come back.
Edit : ok they spawn back after a while. What i did notice is that killing with weapon after knocking them out doesnt count towards my weapon exp.

Nah, silenced revolver is much stronger. Can literally crit someone for 100k+ headshot damage with the right perks from having level 20 reflex and your handgun tree + some stealth perks and even more from cold blood even without relying on stealth or even just doing normal body shots does hella damage along with a revolver not being as time consuming to use as the launcher

@@firstspectre3928 No I'm not O.o With the revolver + that chip that makes all your weapons non-lethal, you can do this strat faster. That's what I've been doing and I'm leveling faster than using this buggy launcher.

You can also use this farm to get infinite "black-market battery" legendary cyberware mods. Either use them or scrap for free legendary components. You can either use fortified ankles to jump over the red crate at 3:40. Alternatively run up the stairs at 5:04 and turn left until you're above the red crate then walk to the other side of the building. Kill all 3 of the melee fighters that stand around bikes and there is your legendary. (The fortified ankles route saves a lot of time)

Not sure how it is on PC but it worked door me. I only run into drones if Civilians are passing but and get hit in the midst of the fire. Just finished Street Cred :)

@@gurnoorsekhon6402 None of the ammo for that attachment uses ammo. So it isn't broken. It also isn't overpowered because it does exactly what it's supposed to. Tranquilize whoever is shot with it. I don't see why everyone whines about weapons doing what they're supposed to in games.
@@MrGlennwhite3 well technically gorilla arms, wire and mantis blades require stamina. But this is a ranged weapon with no restrictions.

I'm sure lots of people know about this, but I haven't seen it anywhere, so I figured I'd drop this idea for leveling other skills.
Engineering is another skill that's a PITA to level, especially early on when you don't really have much in the way of tech weapons to fully charge and use. However, on most "Organized Crime" locations, there are lots of cameras around. Don't shut them down through Quickhacking. That's a skill that's pretty easy to level. Instead, once all of the enemies in the area are dead, run around and physically shut them down using your Technical attribute. That'll level engineering. It's not super fast, but it's the biggest gain I've found, and it's fairly consistent.

@@alphabromega859 not only on steam. I enjoy it alot on my PS5 too never had a lag and runs smolth like butter. Of course it had a couple bugs and it crashed a few times but it didn't ruin my experience at all because the game quicksaves every 2 or 3 minutes. Finished the game yesterday and loved the ending

This method got me to level 50 street cred but in that time I only gained about 3 levels.

It's hard to level with out doing main missions. But street cred you can be max in say 30 hours or so I'm 18 in playing 3/4 Hours at night already 30 street cred but only level 14 lol In the middle of avoiding a certin diner lol
Oh an interesting change you can get the Lizzie before the quest now. Got to level 18, 42 Street cred (got bored of sides mission figured fuck it ) talked at tom diner and When tto lizzie's to Talk to Judy and to start the finding evelynn quests and the lizzie was already there so Sweet ^^

@@kyles6813 Street Cred levels dumb fast, usually you'll hit 50 naturally before you even hit lvl 35.
Just doing side quests and those assault and gang activity events, I hit level 16 and had 32 street cred before I even did the Arasaka heist with Jackie.
On what difficulty
I'm lvl 50 street cred just by playing the game and lvl 30 xp, it's very much longer to lvl up xp and this video doesnt help at all.
Also putting yourself in very hard mode doesnt help either cause unless you have insane gear you get oneshotted by every ennemy in the game. Only way to survive is to have 20 body skills and max armor which is not possible since you CANT get epic armadillos before lvl 35 now and if you didnt invest in body skills then your health pool is really low.
Simple get a silencer kill em on distance not that hard and if you kill em they don't spot you or sneek up an melee kill em

There is no double XP at least not any more so don't bother to finish them off. And it's way faster to just go through them from distance and do a larger loop so enemies could respawn.

Remember at the beginning of the game when you encounter trauma service and they immediately eff you up... I mean hijacking a trauma team by illiciting a fake callout service and then doing something I dunno, using the trauma AV-4 to stage some kind of heist at a penthouse or some shit...

You could use something like “cyberpsychosis” to cause a member of staff in the building to go nuts, get killed, allowing the “trauma team” to land and get to work.

You just have to dead 1 a person... again, another thing that doesn’t seem to find a clear proxy in the manner in which you play the game... I would think it would be some kind of explicit NPC maybe the person who approaches you about the mission... or somebody they kidnap... you have to control the scenario... you don’t want cops too or MAX-TAC...

There is a spot between the Rancho Coronado North and Trailer Park fast travel point which is around the northern sell point between those two. To be more detailed on the position: The Coronado North point will take you to what seems to have been a big bus station before. With the fast travel point in your back head to the left. There you will find a sell point at a gas station. Now if you look on the map you can go north and slightly to the east on the map to find a second sell point close to this one at the gas station. That is where you want to go. Once you have arrived at this location make sure it is night time. So somewhere between 22 and 03 or so. Now standing at the sell point you head to the right looking at the sell point. There will be 3 enemies standing having some bbq. Kill those and from here head to the basketball court with a small platform where there will be like 6 enemies in a group. Kill those and if you did not already aggro them proceed to the closeby parking lot with another 5 enemies on it. From here looking at the street from the parking lot look to the left and follow the road below the more distant bridge rather than the close bridge on the right. Behind this bridge you will keep following the road until you find 3 enemies in a ruin around a burning barrel. Kill those and head back to the first 3 enemies having bbq. Everyone will keep respawning doing this route. Once used to it is really quick plus it has the upside that you can quite effectively farm eddies without using glitches or can dismantling. You can just loot everyone you kill and sell it right at the sell point once your inventory is full. Lots of exp plus around 250k eddies on avg per like 30-40mins. Sorry for the complex explanation but that‘s the best I can do without a video or screenshots to show.

First of all: no difference between xp gained on hard vs very hard. Second, a cheaper and faster method is to equip the Target Analysis mod to your optics. You can pick this up from Vik. It makes all weapons non-lethal, so it will incapacitate the enemies before you kill them. In turn this also doubled the xp for the skill of your weapon of choice. Happy farming :)

If you jump onto the stores roof and then hop on the platform behind the store you ll find another pack of 3 enemies, 1 of them drops a legendary cyberware upgrade everytime you kill it , i suggest doing those enemies too, extemely easy to get there as long as you have upgraded legs + you can just walk right and you re on top of the bridge youd otherwise take the stairs for so it doesnt make the route much longer
I just tried this and only got three shots before my darts ran out. Has this been patched or do I need to buy more of these darts?
I got this to work. I think I hit the scroll wheel so it switched to my weapon, then it must have glitched. Later when I restarted the game it was working perfectly even if I accidentally scrolled out to a weapon. Well, it almost works perfectly, every now and then I let go of the scroll wheel to fire and it just retracts.

Just read the reddit post. Apparently crafting has a lot to do with it. The more you glitch craft the more likely your file corrupts... Fail CDPR.

Hope this still works, im on my 2nd playthrough, didnt go for %100 first and i did use a trainer, learning game and mostly did story only, now i know what build i really want im doing a proper %100, i do enjoy the game and i think it is very good despite its rocky release, runs great and looks great on high end pc. From what i heard you need lvl 33 to be able to craft the epic ones
@@PlsStandBy33 I crafted so many mods and yeah you were right. Didn’t get a single epic mod and I even have all the skills required for it.
8:25 well they may not patch it out but they can alter the area to make it a bit harder. Now a few groups never respawn and to get enemies to respawn you have to drive a block away. Sure, this method still works, but it is less effective now so to get the levels you are seeing takes a full run or even a run and a half now. and it is about 1 min longer just for your run because of the 20ish seconds you drive away and the 20 to drive back plus the animations of getting in and out of vehicle. Below explains the changes that turned this run into a much bigger chore.
Edit: Oh and missile system now is a 3 shot item before a cooldown. If you fire slow enough you wont trigger a cooldown, but slow means about 5 or 6 seconds between each shot. Very hard to do when one doesnt proc the take down, so that means the run is even slower still for low levels. What would take 4 mins now takes 10. I suggest people do this in small doses, like run it for 30 mins go play the game then jump back and do it again for 30 mins. spending hours to level up here killed the game for me so this playthrough I'll just bump street from 20 to 30 and then play a bit

I am on PC and I can confirm that this still works. However, it does seem like some aiming is required and is not as easy as shown in the video...that or I am a horrible shot. The tranq darts do not seem to be an AOE attack and do not smart target, so it is easy to miss. This is most likely why there are a lot of comments saying that it no longer is a one-shot. Just make sure you are following up and killing them after hitting them with tranqs.
