As soon as you pulled the cards out I knew I had to become a subscriber.. You guys are the real deal, I'm going to pour a beer and watch you EVERY week!! Good job my brothers!!
11:34 The man doesn't sweat against apocalypse, magneto, or sentinels, or even an alien race. What finally unnerves the best there is? A pregnant woman about to give birth. Not to mention the fact that particular pregnant woman is Jean. So now he's gonna play fill in expecting dad.😂
Rogue was originally in the Brotherhood. Her mother (step-mother) was Mystique, in disguise. She convinced Rogue to absorb Ms. Marvel's powers (that part was in the original carton).
I just love how some folks are discovering the comics thru this new season of the show. Like not all fans of this stuff (for how many years old they are) have read all of the comics or know all of the stories. I really appreciate you guy’s enthusiasm and curiosity. There were like 5 or 6 different storylines in this one episode and 3 of them in the last 3 minutes of it. Great reaction video and cool trading cards.
I like how Jean's appearance at the door in the end was a lot like when Sen. Kelly showed up at the X-mansion looking for Dr. Jean Grey in the first X-men movie. ^-^ I see what they did there.
Me before watching this: "Stop trying to make Morph happen... no one cares about Morph..." Me after watching this: "Omg Morph is so cool! And all the cameos!! Great idea!!"
Magneto and rogue used to have a thing throughout multiple storylines in the comics, and they appearently made those off screen moments canon to the anime. The original explanation why magneto can touch rogue, is because rogue permanently absorbed some of Polaris’s magnetic powers once, wich would cancel out magneto’s and vice versa, but they have changed that origin a couple of times along the way if I’m correct.
Madelyne Pryor, Originally the love interest and first wife of X-Men leader Cyclops (Scott Summers), she became a long-standing member of the X-Men supporting cast, until a series of traumas-being abandoned by her husband, losing her infant son, and discovering that she was a clone of Jean Grey-eventually led to her being manipulated into being a supervillain known as the Goblin Queen. She is the mother of Cable.
Drunk dads I'm a new member I have all the X-Men action figures here's an Easter egg Scarlet witch and Quicksilver who's their father magneto 8050 South doing the rest of this animation greatness we call the X-Men because I got the action figures and the comic book from one area to X-Men 2000 see you soon for more X-Men trivia
Since I’m collecting X-Men 97 action figures it kinda spoiled the reveal with the Goblin Queen figure. It’s still gonna be very interesting. Lots of drama.
Actually if I remember correctly I think there was an episode were they asked the Morlocks to return with them to the school and they said no, but I could be wrong. And apparently Magneto and Rogue had a couple of romances in the comics, they gave several explanations for why he’s unharmed by Rogue’s powers. It seems like they are exploring that story line. Also my theory on Jean is that maybe she’s a Clone created by Mister Sinister.
I’m not ruling out Phoenix as the clone culprit. The next episode is called “Fire Made Flesh” - something the Phoenix had said when it went dark on the show. Phoenix could have done it when the space mission went south, to let the real Jean heal from the radiation. Can’t heckin’ wait. \o/
If I'm right, Roge is around 28 and Magnus is around 56 in this. Additionally, I -think- Magneto's abilities can insulate his nervous system from any form of hostile interface, weather from Xavier's mind or Rogue's touch.
6:38 Yeah. So, mutant genetics are complicated. There is no guarantee that your child is mutant even if both parents are mutants, theres no guarantees that your chikd will inherent your powers as mutent abilities are random chance. Those who have one or both of their parents' abilities are extremely lucky, like million dollar lottery lucky.
Maybe you two should have actually read the comic books. When the actual Jean died, Scott left the team and met Madylne Prior, who looked identical to Jean. It was actually a clone of Jean made by Mr. Sinister. Scott and Madylne married and had a kid, Nathan (Cable). He was infected with the Techno Orgainic virus and sent into the future in hopes he could survive. When they retconned the whole death of Jean, her committing suicide, they did the whole, Pheonix possession leaving the real Jean in a coccoon at the bottom of the bay they crashed in. In Uncanny X-men 137, Jean Grey commits suicide rather than become Dark Phoenix again. They wanted to bring the whole original team back for X-Force so they retconned her death and created the Phoenix Force that possessed her. When it was found out that Jean was alive, Scott left Madylne "The Clone" to be with Jean again and Madylne became a villain.
I clapped and said "HELL YES" the moment you actually brought out the card collection, I'm so jealous
Thanks, yeah we figured people might get slick out of it.
When you thought it's Deathstrike, "no it's Morph." 😅
Storm losing her powers is the beginning of one of her best arcs!!! I’m so excited!
those marvel masterpiece cards take me back to the fleer days alright : D

I'm so happy you still have your cards. I lost mine during a house move. I honestly hope they re-release a new set for the show and comics.
Hate to break it to those cards you lost are worth $1.2 million each now...... Just kidding I lost mine too.😅

Oh yes thank you, I did know that but …. You know I blame it on the alcohol.
4:16 Actually storm relinquished that title and give it back to Kalisto in the Christmas episode

What did you think about the twist in the end? Let us know down below.
I loved it, but I am racking my brain trying to find out what episode she was replaced in, lol.
Crazy, what is going on here!!!!!!!?????

Oh snaps! I didn't think of that! 🙏🏽💪

omg, they are gonna do the Madelyne/Jean thing...
20:45 Madeline prior a.k.a. goblin Queen
Pryor
@@bully_media9720 Right I stand corrected
Hopefully they do the Inferno storyline
Madelyne Pryor. Jean and Scott from the 616 universe have no biological children.
I'll show you a csection!!!!
The stories they are doing are all in the comics.
Madelyne Pryor is a clone of Jean and that was baby Cable being born.

It seems that with the prediction that Mutants would eventually overtake humans that the X gene is a dominant one.
@@joelsasmad Yes, but that's is over the course of several generations of mutants. In first generations like Jean, it's not a garuntee
I take it y'all have not read the X-men comics.
most aren’t and that’s perfectly fine without casuals X-MEN would’ve stayed unknown
