After the pilot, ten episodes were completed between April and May 1965 (with several additional close-ups filmed during June and July, shortly before Barbara gave birth). She was carefully draped with more veils and silk around her harem costume, and carefully photographed above the waist {she also folded her arms around her tummy at times}.
Even better: Barbara Eden put on a terrific acting job, because she was legally blind! Her vision was so terrible, she had to wear Coke-bottle glasses (or contacts; which were solid glass, extremely uncomfortable, and could only be worn for short durations). She memorized the layouts of the sets, and somehow pulled it off.
