I met Barbara Eden in Hawaii, she's one very classy lady. I was on my honeymoon and we were having dinner at this place where they brought you the meat you ordered to your table, raw (it was a steak place) and they had grills and you grilled your own slab of meat. Well, Barbara and a man she was with were seated at a table next to ours. Barbara was wearing sunglasses and a big floppy white hat, but I knew it was her because I'd know those legs anywhere. I told my new wife that it was Barbara Eden and she looked at her and said, "no it isn't" after a couple of back and fourths I took my napkin from under my glass and leaned over and said, Barbara, would you sign this for me. She was stunned that I knew who she was and said that she's never been recognized when she's under that hat and glasses. She asked me how I knew it was her but there was no way I was going to tell her I recognized her legs, especially with my new wife sitting there. So I just said, "I just knew". I’ve had a crush on her for 50 years. I would come home from school and watch back to back jeannie’s on channel 11 every day. Over and over. I was mesmerized with her beauty. Here she is just as lovely. Same personality.
My nephew sent me a picture my uncle gave him years ago of me and my brother and mother yesterday. It was about the same year this was filmed in 1966. I was 5. Thank you to my nephew. I always liked Jeannie or Barbara Eden for her Beauty with Class. Thank you Barbara! Happy 90th Birthday 🎁🎉🎈🍇🍉
If EVER there were two words to describe these two stars they are: BEAUTIFUL (Eden), and CHARMING (Lawford). Both WONDERFUL Actors! 🙏🏾🙌🏾🙏🏾! And on a side note, what a PERFECT name: Barbara EDEN...! It sure took me there every time I watched her on the TV screen!
I watched "The White Cliffs of Dover" (1944) in which Bunny Gordon played Peter Lawford as a baby. Starts roughly 1:21:00 into the show, and she actually gets quite a bit of "screen time" for a baby! She's in every scene except one until 1:29:30, when suddenly "grows up" enough to be Roddy MacDowell. Finally at 1:49:30 they have Roddy grown into Peter Lawford!
If you look it up on Wikipedia, then check the films Peter Lawford starred in, as they talked about here on the program, contestant Bunny indeed played a baby character that Lawford played as adult..
Thanks for posting this. She is so so cute. Apparently, according to my mother, I used to wish "Jeannie" was my mother! I also met her at The Westbury Music Fair on Long Island after a play she starred in portraying "Florence" Unger...a female version of The Odd Couple. She seemed incredibly down to earth and adorable as she always was as Jeannie. Like, you could invite her over your house one afternoon for coffee and she'd be there in your middle class neighborhood home talking about regular things. She is so pained by the loss of her son.
Barbara Eden celebrated her 90th Birthday this week❤️

Barbara eden was a repeat regular customer at the service station us young kids worked at during the summer, when school was summer break. She was very consistently nice as ever. Always smiling each/every time she arrived for fuel. All windows were cleaned, all fluids were checked, unless customer didnt have time during that moment. Owner of the said station expectations were non negotiable, either you met these expectations as an employee, or your done period. Also same station eddie van halen, charleton hesten, and chevy chase were repeat regular customers. And some say the beach is the funest place during the summer.
The loveliest lady Eden everymans dream
She was so pretty.
Barbara is also an equally qualified awesome player to play with Peter Lawford. As well as stunning.
wow this is so great! both great contestants and great stars. This was a lot of fun.
Happy 90th Birthday, Barbara ❤️,
Took me way back, loved this show!!!
What a delightful episode.
At the time of my comment Barbara Eden turned 90 years old! Amazing!
Love how Lawford is really trying to win.
MKIVWWI - cool. Thanks for sharing.
That's history right there!!
If you look it up on Wikipedia, then check the films Peter Lawford starred in, as they talked about here on the program, contestant Bunny indeed played a baby character that Lawford played as adult..
I was lucky and spent time with Barbara in 1994. She is a very nice lady.
An infectiously & unpretentiously stunning woman
I was 7 years old at that time😅🤣😂💕and I loved Barbara Eden!
Peace🌎💕💞
Barbara Eden was a doll, even in her later years.....
When she used to say master,it was sexy..
Her son committed suicide..she wasnt the same, wouldn't you.
Barbara Eden que guapísima era 😍
Peter Lawford.... *sigh He was handsome. 3:)
Thank u for uploading xx
Amazing how as late as 1966 you can still hear bumping of microphones with every movement on the bench.
I saw Barbara Eden in 1981 at The breakers hotel in Florida she was so tiny and so beautiful
BARBARA EDEN IS SO BEAUTIFUL 💋💋💋💘💘💓💝
WE ENJOY HER RE-RUNS SHOW VERY MUCH!!! 3 👍👍👍🏆♦️⚘
Barbara's laugh is so great
Can’t imagine how cool it would have been to be Barbara’s partner for this show. However, not so sure I could have thought clearly enough to compete!
I kinda like the lady with the bouncing wiglets.
Peter Lawford....Once completed a lightning round in a astonishing 12 seconds!
Loved both these players. Great epis with them. Both very sharp!
Barbara, I have loved you when you were at I Dream of Jeannie!
Barbara Eden is in my all-time HOF.
And a very happy 90th birthday to Barbara Eden today (8/23/2021).
I liked this show back then, Barbara Eden a stunning and beautiful woman. Happy Birthday 🎂 🥳
Reminds me of when I was a kid. Love it.
I remember watching this in the 60’s. TV was so simple back then on our black and white 😊
She doesnt drink coffee.
@@sharksport01 did you have her over your house?🤣
@@ChristopherVPepe
No. We always met in her bottle.
@@sharksport01 I guess that leaves me with her sister in Baghdad
