+JAGG KOUT I don't think she had "a lot" of facelifts, remember she's always been at her ideal weight, always worked out even now and you can see her neck and face that have aged but she still looks GREAT! Joan Rivers, now SHE had a lot of face-lifts! No eighty plus year old has tight plump smooth skin on her entire face, neck and hands like she did plus Joan looked like someone else in her youth from the facial changes. Barbara Eden still looks like Barbara Eden.
Some years ago I sent Barbara Eden a letter thanking her for her performance(s). I did not ask for anything, but a couple of weeks later I received an envelope from her with an autographed photograph of herself as Jeanie. What a class act she is!
***** I am not so delusional as all that. I am well aware that Barbara Eden likely never saw my letter... or perhaps she did. It was many years ago and she was not always as famous as she would be later in life. In any case, she could have easily tossed the fan mail unopened into the recycle bin, but she didn't. She either sent the photograph or paid someone else to do so, either way it puts her heads above the crowd. I use a typewriter to answer snail mail, she uses individuals on a salary that she pays for. The main difference is economies of scale. I reiterate: she is a class act!

Dale Raby I arrived late to a meet and greet and security wouldn't let us in. The guard left to ask her if she would accept two more fans. He came back and said she would if we would be quiet while they filmed a tv interview. We got in and got to see her do the interview. She signed my bottle and book, she was very kind. So, I believe she responded to your letter herself.

I met her around three years ago, at an event. She is a friend of a friend. She was truly one of the nicest people I’ve ever talked to. We had a conversation for around ten minutes or so, until she was whisked off to do photos. She was gracious, classy and funny. Everything you hope she would be. There is no story to this, simply sharing that she is as wonderful as one night imagine

I suppose but it's a pretty unfair comparison in terms of beauty alone. This is always a subjective opinion and yours may not agree but...... Elizabeth Montgomery was beautiful in that "girl next door" way that you see somewhere most every day. Truth be told I know more than just a couple of women that are better looking. Barbra Eden on the other hand. Stunningly beautiful in a way you just never see very often at all, if ever, in everyday life.
Not only is she still beautiful, her mannerisms still retain and reflect Jeannie's sweet and charming disposition that millions across the globe fell in love with. What a woman!!
I loved that they finally got together. I remember running home from school to make sure I didn’t miss reruns of the episodes and I couldn’t wait for them to finally be together. Season 5 is still my favorite and the one I rewatch the most

2023 and I am still watching it. I am old enough to have watched the episodes when they aired for the first time. Loved it then and still love it now!
I celebrated my 50 th birthday together with Jeannie. My party was a theme party with the cake in the shape of a bottle. There were pictures of the show on the walls. It was unforgettable. I live in Rio de Janeiro.
This woman is all class. I grew up watching IDOJ and it remains my happy place. She lost her only son, and unfortunately, I lost my son as well, when he was 23. Barbara carries on, as we have to, and I will always hold her close to my heart. xo
I didn't know that about her son. I lost my youngest before he was 20- no matter how it happens it's something that ties moms together.
The show is a classic because it was played with charm. If it was done today, it would be filled with profane language and nudity. I miss the good old days. Hagman and Eden were class acts.

I totally agree. Everything in shows today is hyper-sexualized and profane. That era was definitely, most definitely, a much better time to live in I think. You can clearly see that moral standards have declined since then, and as time goes on it becomes worse and worse.
No. It is not a generational thing, but it is a question of QUALITY. Very poor and lacking today. TV, movies, music, etc. Just look at the comments in TH-cam videos, Facebook, blogs and forums. Always comments such as "TV sucks today" "what happened to movies?" "It was better back then", etc.

I meant Miss Eden after seeing her here in Kansas in a play, and afterwards I got the chance to meet her. She could not have been more sweet. We even took a picture together with our backs against each other doing the Jeannie pose! An amazingly humble, talented and beautiful individual!!

She looks FABULOUS!! Everyone in (and out) of the industry should take note. There is nothing wrong with the infamous "having some work done" as long as you still look like YOU and avoid pillow cheeks, trout lips etc. Of course, she was stunning to begin with, which probably helped!! Growing up this was my favorite show. I always loved her energy, enthusiasm and smile. Glad to see she is still doing well and embraces the Jeannie years. I still watch the reruns even now (2023). Larry and her made a great team and it was sad to see the show end when it did.

I met Ms .Eden when I was 12 years old @ Hess's Department Store in Allentown, PA. She was warm and gracious after being on her feet all day greeting the public, emceeing their annual flower show, signing autographs, etc. You could tell she was exhausted, but was stiil so sweet and kind to every one, including me! as for her current youthful appearance, she doesn't look a day oder then the day I met her in 1966!!

I still watch this show everyday when i come home from work. I have watched all the seasons and episodes gazillion times yet i cannnot get enough of it. Barbara Eden is most definitely a classy lady. I always enjoyed her show, " I dream of Jeannie". I don't think this interview was done very well though on her behalf. The interviewer seemed very detached and aloof. I don't think he can relate very well to that era. She should have been interviewed by someone who showed more interest in who she really is
