When I purchased mine for $4,500 in 2017, I thought it was too much but I felt justified since it's a classic. I can't believe how much the prices have increased.
😍😍 Great video!! So curious why you choose the silver hardware. I have the same bag but in doubt if I want to get the gold instead. Looks like everyone has the black and gold hardware now. So maybe that’s why I’m drawn to it, or do I really like the gold better. But then I’m afraid it will be to dressy for my lifestyle.
I thought very hard about what hardware I would get and it was always gold in my mind, until I saw the silver when I was looking to purchase and realized I loved it. I’m actually planning on making a video about what colour hardware to choose when buying your Chanel. I think at the end of the day there’s no wrong choice with such an iconic bag.
Same. I have the small silver hardware as I felt it’s fresher and edgier. Not so old lady looking. Now the gold is growing on me!!!

I did just bought mine in Milan, Italy. And still Im in awe how Im able to spend that much for a bag😰😭😵💫😅ahahahaha but I am looking forward to use it if not everyday but oftenly. Here in Switzerland crazy how
the preloved cost more than the brandnew, simply because you cant buy or grab the classic flap easily. I believe also that it is more easier to sell Chanel bags in preloved market than LV.
Would you recommend to remove the blue sticker on the hardware so it won’t become sticky over time?
I would recommend that actually. I left the sticker on my WOC and it got wedged into the lock part. Going to have to fish it out carefully.

Hi! Have you noticed that the silver hardware tarnishes? I have a classic flap I bought last spring and the chain is already starting to tarnish.
Mine is from 2021 and is still in the same polished condition as purchased. I keep this bag in the dust bag laying down in the box she came in whenever not using, and polish with the cleaning cloth before storing. I also make sure the bag is not laying on the chain. I never leave the bag bare on the shelf.

My 12 year old daughter recieved 2 of these for Christmas from a well to do friend. Um .... I didn't know they were this much! She loves chanel . This is her very first high end purse. Now I don't want her to use it 😬😬
