      trump hillary and bernie are 69, 68 and 74 respectively, obama is 54, accounting for general aging the man seems to have been worn out by the effort, is it appropriate to have leaders who aren't at their their fittest? An average age of 70 for candidates potentially running for 2 terms seems too high to me.

But they are more racist than the democrats. And this white mobilization of trump shows it all...they dont even have the power to put him out or close his mouth. The excessive neoliberalism in your country is truly concerning. (And I don't think we necessarily have to consider taking things to the extreme by threatening with an autocratic cruel regime such as the Stalin's, that's surely not anywhere close to your situation to even consider something like that might occur :) )

      +Shah Bhuiyan I also agree but I also like the middle east goal "promote economic growth at the region". As a part-realist, part-ideologist then, his goal was to stabilize a state that acts against the U.S interests (or the world's interests if the U.N says so) and then establish a U.S friendly government (democratic = freedom) that will hopefully allow the U.S international businesses to invest into a post-war region (low cost-high yield). It's a great plan for the military super spending U.S economy. I still liked him though, you can't change the world alone afterall.

    I was brought up in a Texas Evangelical Christian True Red Republican Family, and was taught to basically hate President Obama from a pretty early age. As I've grown up and started asking questions like "why?", I've watched more and more of his speeches and interviews. Now, I view him in a different light.
    He's the president who tried to fix America, and pressures within and without forced him to settle. He's the president we needed, we just didn't know it at the time.

  • @MultiAxian
    @MultiAxian 9 ปีที่แล้ว +30

    I'm Canadian and I wish we had a prime minister who thinks like Obama. Why do you Americans hate him so much? Under his Presidency, the US ended two very expensive wars, recovered from the 2008 financial crisis, introduced universal healthcare, significantly lowered unemployment, and has improved international relations with other nations. On top of that, he has the workings of a decent, practical solution to finally improving stability in the Middle east over the next 15-20 years for good.
    Heck, I'd trade Stephen Harper for him any day, you guys would love him. Effectively silencing media and government scientists, managed to turn a $15B surplus into a $56B deficit in four years, opposes universal healthcare, shut down the government (twice), has no real plan to combat climate change, and has destroyed Canada's reputation and role in the UN as global peacekeepers.

    • @therealr0bert
      @therealr0bert 8 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      Drew Pollinger The US economy was literally over. The economy did not recover on it's own, no where near it. I haven't heard, until now, even one person, Republican, Democrat, or otherwise, so ignorant to even say that. If the federal government didn't step in we would have been in great depression 2 status. Obama is awful on war, as all right wing Americans are, but he literally pulled the economy back from the brink on the 11th hour. If you don't believe me just read... well fuck read anything. Your assertion is so far from the truth I don't even think the propaganda machines throw out that nonsense. You think a strong economy means it doesn't need input from the government? Like damn dude you aren't even in reality right now.

I wasn't an incredible fan of him either (More in preference to him than the Republican freak show we have currently) But I will say he was extremely intelligent. The problem is Republicans (In which their controlled states have the weakest education systems) couldn't understand Obama.
      For example, a Republican will watch this... have everything explained it depth and just dismiss it because they don't want to ever admit something nice about Obama. They would rather stay ignorant, listen to bias talking points (A problem both parties have) than to agree with OBama

    He is a gift to humanity! I'm sad that his rule is ending, he could have transformed his country and the world further, if he could serve an additional term.Although, I understand that, the rule is precautionary, i can't help but bemoan the end of the presidency of such a great man, who I am glad is the leader of the free world and not to forget, the most likable American president by people who are not even Americans.
    Nothing would shock me more, than that the same people who voted, supported and believed in Obama would elect Trump to lead them. It would be a fate, worst than a meteoroid strike and wide spread world epidemic combined!
    The world needs Americans to vote wisely! have high hopes, please don't disappoint.
