    Could you possibly do a video about retiring in Salmon Arm? What resources are available i.e. health care, recreation, social etc. with a focus on seniors. We are a Canadian couple currently living in the north of Scotland and we are looking at your area as a potential place to retire.

      Hi Selma! Yes, we have it on our list of videos to do, Salmon Arm is definitely a great retirement area.

      Be sure to lower your expectations about food, service, and well, anything really in regards to life.

      @@ML-ov7wo Depends where you are moving from, but yes, Salmon Arm definitely has a lot less amenities than bigger cities and can be an adjustment for sure.

      @@ML-ov7wo @M L it's okay, we also came from a small city so it won't probably be a huge adjusment for us. however, i'm curious to what you mean...

      If you come from a small city then it likely won’t matter. If you came from the majority city then it’s quite disappointing the quality or value for your buck when I comes to good food. Even good ingredients need to be ordered online. But depends on your standards and what you’ve been used to. Dominos and Tim Hortons are extremely popular here. Andiamos or the Mexican joint gets raving reviews, but in Vancouver they’d probably have to close down.Enough said.

    Why is the rent so high in a WALKING DEAD place like Salmon (fish) Arm?

    • @ML-ov7wo
      @ML-ov7wo ปีที่แล้ว

      Rent and owning. Very good question. I think it’s because for some strange reason it was “voted” as a top town in Canada to live. No idea why

    • @HosseiniTeam
      @HosseiniTeam  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It can definitely be expensive and hard to find rentals here! Hopefully some new changes to rental restrictions will help, but not likely enough.

    I’m looking for a single private room in Salmon Arm as I’m moving there in Feb end.
    What can be the rent and how I can found the right one?

    • @HosseiniTeam
      @HosseiniTeam  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey! It can be really tough finding rentals here, even private room rentals but we would suggest checking the following sources. Typically private rooms rent for around $700-$1000/month (usually including utilities).
      Salmon Arm Homes for Rent/ Sale Facebook Group:
      facebook.com/groups/454304967959190/
      E-Editions of the local paper to check the classifieds (not many posted here):
      www.saobserver.net/e-editions/
      If its just short term, you could look on Air b n' b as well, there are lots of options there.
      Hope this helps! Good luck in your search!

    I will immigrate to Canada, specifically Salmon arm Please are there any jobs opportunities and what types of professions are required there, and how much do they charge approximately per hour? Thank you for giving your time to ❤answer

    • @HosseiniTeam

      Thanks for reaching out! It can really vary, the minimum wage in BC is $16.75/hour (starting June 1st) and jobs go up from there. We would recommend checking out shuswap.workforcebc.ca/ for job opportunities. Also, I would reach out to the Shuswap Immigrant Services Society to see if they can offer any support - sissociety.ca/ Best of luck to you!
