Just discovered Gojira about a year ago and they have been on very heavy rotation since 🤘 We may be a little late to the Gojira party....but we made it! Really enjoyed your enthusiasm for this amazing band. Two songs to check out that are complete bangers Vacuity (live at Vieilles Charrues) and Explosia (live @ Brixton Academy). You can find both on you tube.
After hearing, probably 95% of their discography, it’s crazy how there are only handful of songs that is just meh, the rest is just god tier. There is so so much to recommend. Pray from the same Red Rocks concert, is nuts. Other one that comes to mind are Remembrance live at The Link alive, Indians - Live Vieiles Charrues, or wisdom comes at Brixton. Organised chaos is what these songs are about, i love it. Keep doing Gojira, you wont regret it one bit. Cheers
What’s up 3rd Chemical Brother! Thank you for your comment! We are going to have so much fun going through their discography! I often feel some kind of way when I think about how I just let them go back in 2013 when my brother let me hear them for the first time in his Jeep. But then I remember that it’s all divine timing with music as it is everything else! That’s also what Brewster and I are finding. That the more we evolve as spirit first/humans second.. the more bands we are finding that are resonating with us, and having really cool shit to say! I thank you for all of your requests for us to watch. I wrote them all down, and we will get started with them tomorrow on our day off! Stay with us for more music/ and film fun! 🤘🤘🤘 ❤️BrownSugar 😈
Holy heavy. That was nasty. Loved it. I was like you guys. I dismissed them at first. Not thrash or fast enough for me at the time. Tastes change. Now, I realize their magnificence. Great reaction!
Hey there Steve Ratcliffe!!! Thank you so much for your comment and request! Yeah… back in 2013 I had just come back from living overseas for 11 years, and I didn’t have a lot of exposure to the metal scene during those times. I was being bombarded with amazing music from all over the place, and very much immersed in my brother’s music as they also had a fierce ass Grindcore/Death Metal/Djent-y kind of fusion band, and we’re doing shows. So I was a cheerleader for them/roadie! Lol So they were a flash in the pan, and then gone until recently while we have been discovering all this new to us music. And like I said before… I believe that where you are at in your journey has a lot to do with whether or not music resonates with you or not. I believe that with all the work I have put into myself, and Brewster in himself, that we were only now able to be receptive to the majesty that is GOJIRA! And yes… tastes so change as well for sure! They become more refined, and it will show even in the music you choose to hear. Stay with us for more music/ film fun!!! 🤘🤘🤘 ❤️BrownSugar 😈
What’s up John Martin!! Thank you for your comment and request! I got it down on paper, and we definitely will be doing this one! Stay with us for more film/music fun! 🤘🤘🤘 ❤️BrownSugar 😈
New sub! I want to take this Gojira Journey with you guys. "Art of Dying", "Where Dragons Dwell", and " Wolf Down the Earth" are good ones to check out. \M/
Hey Ja_Kubeusz!! Thanks for your comment bro! We are definitely going to be checking this out on our days off! Thank you for the request, and stay with us!!! More fun reactions and filming adventures coming soon! 🤘🤘🤘 ❤️BrownSugar 😈
well Gojira is one of the best band of the last decases , such a unique sound and so tight live that it sounds better than the album , they are a bit softer now as they got older , but all their album kicks ass Some songs Remembrance ( live from the link alive , young Gojira 2003 ) The heaviest matter of the universe ( live at brixton , hellfest 2013 , poland 2019 ..whatever or Oroborus/The Heaviest Matter of the Universe combo , live garorock the gift of guilt ,live at brixton the art of dying ( vielle charrues ) the axe ,live at brixton Clone , live at vieilles charrues Backbone , live at brixton wisdom comes live at brixton it's a good start :)
What’s up Paul Atréides!!🤘🤘🤘I have so many feeling while feeling GOJIRA. And I say feeling because I don’t think that they are a band you listen to with human ears. They are to be felt. And I do.. DEEPLY! Their beautiful wall of sound is so spiritually connected to my being. I can see it( when my eyes are actually open)… they are extremely in sync with each other. And it’s so beautiful to watch them play live! I notice A LOT that they close their eyes as well while playing. And I believe that is because the music is coming from their spirit. They give us selflessly, a part of themselves in their music. THAT and the fact that they have real things to say through lyrics, that makes them so FUCKING EVERYTHING!!! Thank you so much for your comment and requests for us to watch. I have written them all down, and believe me… we are on this journey! 🤘🤘🤘 ❤️BrownSugar 😈
@@cherylbrownsugarchances5355 well i 'm french ,and i have the chance to follow them since the very begining , i saw them the first time back in 2002 in a room of not even 1000 persons ,before mars to sirius and there success with album .Yes they are very chill , very down to earth and spiritual and they have an incredible musician ship and a unique sound and writting ..and the fact that they are still together ,all the original members is great !
@@paulatreides1354 omg that is such a beautiful thing! It is so very rare to find bands that have been together with NO swinging door of band members. But just from what I have been observing, I can easily see why! They feel to me to be so very connected not only by the music they perform, but it is easy to see that it is the LOVE of the music, and musicianship, and camaraderie that also binds them together. I’m 2002, I was just moving to Lebanon, so the scene was very far from me, as the culture over there at the time was not into this style of music. I truly envy everyone that has been able to adore them for so many years, but late to the party is always better than never! ☺️☺️☺️ Merci beaucoup mon ami!!! 🤘🤘🤘🔥🔥🔥🤘🤘🤘 ❤️BrownSugar 😈
@@cherylbrownsugarchances5355 well , we couldn't know at that time that years later they would be known worldwide , they deserve their success :) wish you the best , cheers :)
Holy fuck, this performance was pretty incredible...Just saw on the right that the whole concert is online...guess what I'll do later ? Can you do more Gojira live ? (Gift of Guilt is...on another planet...)
Their first demos date from 1995 but their first album as Gojira is in 2000!!! They are different though totally Metal. Somewhere between Sepultura and Meshuggah! They've evolved from a pure Brutal Death Metal sound as Godzilla - changed second guitar and bassist and became Gojira moving album to album away from Death to this unique sound that is still evolving. Their last album Fortitude has some brutal bangers and some more atmospheric almost radio friendly Metal. Try Born For One Thing, Amazonia videos or from their previous album Magma : Silvera or Stranded videos. So much great earlier music which tends to be heavier. I have to admit I was also hesitant even dismissive first time I heard them. Now I get chills at almost every song.
Hey Ben Luna!!! Thank you so very much for your comment and request! I wrote it down, and it seems like the general consensus is that we should do REMEMBRANCE LIVE @The Link… so that will be the first one we do tomorrow for GOJIRA! Stay with us for more music/film fun!! 🤘🤘🤘 ❤️BrownSugar 😈
