Jinjer - Pisces (Live Session) would be an awesome reaction. Also Unleash the Archers - Awaking (full band play through) Also Nightwish - Phantom of the Opera (End of an Era Live)
Gojira is insanely talented, my favorite album of theirs is Mars to Sirius. Please react to either Flying Whales or Heaviest Matter in the Universe P.S. Since pretty much everyone wants it too, Jinjer - Pisces.
Great choice! Flying Whales, while being a staple song by Gojira, really shows their true sound and talent. A must listen for anyone getting into Gojira.
I'm so obsessed with this channel. I love the way you analyze lyrics and video music at the same time. You both are very honest and open minded. I wish more people were like you when they react to metal music.
What an intelligent analysis. A lot of "react" style videos tend to fail to deliver because the "reactors" aren't bringing enough to the table themselves, but you two are bringing a real analysis and a real reason to see what you two think instead of just watching the original video. Good work.
This song is great, honestly. Gojira is IMO one of the current best metal bands, so I'm glad you liked it. Thanks for the positive reaction. (As far as a request go, I would like to see you react to the band Blind Guardian, another very great.). :)
Gojira have a phenomenal way of using melody and ambience in their songs. Even the full on heavy stuff like In the Wilderness and Art Of Dying. They're 10/10 and just have a way of writing killer songs
Great reaction, but to fully appreciate Gojira you need to see a live from them "the gift of guilt" at brixton is one of my favorite. An other band i'm pretty sure blow you away is Jinjer "just another" , "Pisces" or "Teacher, teacher"
Same! Seeing them my 4th time at the Brixton Academy on the 30th. I'm over the moon excited. Seeing Rammstein the night before in Paris and I'm interested in which live show will give me more of a buzz. Different genres and vibes, but both bands that absolutely tear up a crowd.
You should totally react to Opeth, one of these five: Bleak ( live at the roundhose tapes. Very important ) , The Leper Affinity, Ghost of Perdition ( also live at the roundhouse tapes ), Dirge for November ( live at royal albert hall ) or Windowpane. Such amazing songs. Really like your reactions, keep em up
Very nice! Good to see you rediscovering metal my man. You’ll probably get thousand different requests, but ghost love score (live at Wacken 2013) is beyond words. Also, for authenticity, use some headphones so we, the viewers, know that you’re getting the best quality of music possible. Peace and love, and good luck for the future.
I am older,I am 52,I still enjoy hearing new music.I am more of a classic metal guy but think it is good that metal is still kicking ass and progressing.keep up the good work, and congratulations on gaing so many subs.
You should react to Wintersun - Sons of Winter and Stars Live at Sonic Pump Studios! After that, probably Time or Loneliness by the same band! Gojira is awesome btw
Another great prog band to react to is Ne Obliviscaris-and plague flowers the kaleidoscope live in Denver. They are prog, black, death, classical but they have a unique sound amazing compositions with depth and emotion that you will greatly enjoy.
check out the song they did with Devin Townsend and Henrik Thordendal from Meshuggah called "Of Blood and Salt"...brutal and beautiful all in one They have a few other albums that are pretty awesome as well. The Way of All Flesh and Magma. Every song on those albums are brutal
Great reaction! It takes time to like and appreciate such a technical bands like Gojira, I'm also not immediately got hooked! Silvera (official video) will be another great song of them to react. Keep rocking!
I was skeptical at first but both of your open mindedness and actual intellectual commentary on the music and lyrics was very refreshing! You guys have a cool vibe I’m digging the channel :) does your daughter have a musical background I wonder? Great video though!
Always great to see metal bring people and families together! An apropos band on an apropos day. To further expand your metal horizons, a must react to: Therion: To Mega Therion Live Wacken 2001. When I first heard this song back in 1997, I was hooked by the first note! Enjoy!
Awesome song 😁 Can you please to react to "Heilung - in Maidjan LIVE?" They are a German norse/celtic tribal band with incredible vocals and harmonies.
You guys need to do: Pantera - 5 Minutes Alone and Pantera - Im Broken they are one of the best heavy metal bands to ever do it, their entire discography is Great.

You must do more Gojira, best modern progressive/death metal band. But honestly every Gojira fan knows Gojira is at another level of metal. Do Flying Whales, Heaviest Matter of the Universe and Toxic Garbage

Almost impossible to recommend a specific Gojira song, they're easily one of the best bands in the world in my opinion. If I were to recommend one performance, check out The Gift of Guilt - Live of at the Brixton Academy. It really makes you appreciate just how talented these guys are.
Nice reaction! As usual I love Juliettes analysis, which is so much deeper than you find by girls her age. Also love the way you embrace the music. As a hip-hop girl I wondered if the transition to gojira might be too steep? The band is known for its deep lyrics, technique, transitions and bone crushing energy. A thinking mans metal? First time I saw them was in 2012, when they visited a local music festival in the north of Norway 😉 Oroborus or the heaviest matter next? I see she also has a thing for progressive music... I think Porcupine tree - Anesthetize could be a fun reaction? Live from Tillburg is 17 mins of pure bliss!!
I like watching your daughter develop an appreciation (& hopefully liking) of metal music. I also appreciate seeing a young person with depth. Good job, dad!

Since I discovered them, Gojira has rapidly become one of my favorite bands. They are so unique and every song has so much texture and interesting parts. Hope you dive deeper into their discography. There's a lot of song recommendations that I'm sure you will get from other comments but two not so popular but still great songs from them are Backbone and Esoteric Surgery, you should not miss them. A great reaction without any doubt. If you revisit Gojira, Flying Whales or Stranded will be great. If not,you should try Anubis or Prometheus from Septic Flesh, fantastic songs! Keep rocking ;)

Great reaction and analysis as always. I can't wait to see you do Jinjer - all their songs have a ton of depth musically, vocally, and lyrically. I'm a huge Jinjer nerd used to giving info dumps, but I'm really looking forward to taking a step back and seeing what you two have to say. :) Incidentally, they credit Gojira as a major influence on their music.
Also, glad you got your video flipped the right way this time, it took me a few minutes to notice your previous videos the writing on your clothes was back to front 😂
Liquid Fire is a really not-talked-about Gojira song, which I love. You guys have very intelligent discussion going here. Not just about the lyrics, but the video as medium as well. Subbed.
"Fun" fact: they were forced to change the name exactly because of the film industry people who own the name Godzilla. Gojira is the japanese name and you're right, it sounds much better. : ) The Duplantier brothers (Joe, singer/lead guitar and Mario, drummer) are true artists. They inherited it from their mother, who brought them up around her art. She was Portuguese-descendant, originally from the vulcanic Azores Islands, and she died while they were recording their last album Magma. The cover of that album and some of the songs are a tribute to her.
This makes a great followup to Pisces, both because it is a deep and powerful song in its own right and because it shows Tatiana can do everything she does in Piscies (and more!) on stage. Jinjer is better in concert because they always give 110% for their fans, but Pisces has that twist that gets spoiled if you've seen their other stuff and draws a ton of views so it is best to do it first.
Absolutely - Nightwish fans are *almost* as rabid as Jinjer fans. ;) Nightwish being an established band has more fans, but the Jinjer bump will be significant too. There is some overlap since Floor from Nightwish and Tatiana from Jinjer are both such amazing metal goddesses, just with very different styes.
You should definitely react to King Diamond's Halloween. Awesome traditional heavy metal, and the lead singer has a vocal range of 5 octaves, very talented!

She has a lot of common knowledge and a very deep understanding of the music they reacted to despite of the fact that she usually doesn't listen to those genres. But obviously her dad is a very cool person, too so kudos to him for raising his children right. That's a pretty new reaction channel but already one of my favorite ones on TH-cam.

But obviously her dad is a very cool person, too so kudos to him for raising his children right. That's a pretty new reaction channel but already one of my favorite ones on TH-cam.
You guys are great at this, great potential.
