Damn a 12 hr drive at like 9mph lol I bet it was fun and challenging and exhilarating but I bet after like a couple hours into driving this thing became a real pain in the ass (literally) haha it wasn’t a smooth ride and like having to change gears all the time. No wonder they spent 3 days visiting her mother they needed a break from the machine.

She believed in him more than anything...she had faith that his invention would take her and the kids to their destination... She set out on the journey without his knowledge and proved his hard work paid off.. And Benz patented his machine shortly after, kicking off the age of automobiles
