A Newbies review: Bachmann N Scale Percy the Small Engine (Plus Troublesome Trucks)

Time to review a small green caterpillar with red stripes! Yes it's Percy the Small engine along with two troublesome trucks, and like Thomas while he is only detailed with simple pieces, he is well built, an excellent runner and well suited to those who are getting into the hobby at a young age!

I very much agree, am eagerly waiting for the James model to come out, think I remember seeing it's sometime mid-this year!

Are your tracks separate for DCC James if not how have you wired it to run both , look really good in n gauge

It's all wired for DCC, it's just me swapping the controllers since they use the same connection for the track wire, with DC it's just one controller doing all the track, good for when just the single engine but can't do much with more than two.
And quite agree, does look good for N Gauge, just waiting for more characters to come out!

I agree they are very nice models, might see if can get the chassis separately for kit builds.
And no worries, I just got them as use to watch it all when I was younger heh
