Nah it's wrong. He isn't like that. You can tell when you see the subtitles during the store wherehe is signing. She said "taking" not "slaving" people. Still funny tho.
the quote in the beginning is powerful. to consumers, the newest thing really is a glimpse of the future. and of course, who wouldn't want the ability to see the future?

Who ever edited this, thank you, you portrayed what it is like to be famous yet unknown, the panic that comes with it, and also how an artist thinks and comes up with ideas
i’m 19 and i have found murakami an inspiration since i was 15 years old. I hope to become a flower installation artist and one day and to make a BIG murkami happy flower made fully of real flowers.
I went and saw his exhibit in Vancouver, and let me tell you, He is a genius of his craft. There is soo much more to him than just the flowers. His statues are immeasurably impressive and the excruciating detail and abstract order he puts into every piece sticks with me to this day.
I was just looking at videos related to art and I stumbled upon this video it’s so lively and it has this sort of pressure behind it. I love it! That’s how I know I’m choosing my right path. Do what you love, not because of the outcome of it, but because of the experience and events you might come across. I’ve been in love with art since I was 6 and after 10 years I don’t plan to stop.

He slept in front of his hardworking crew 😂😂 like a main character who don't care about anyone from anime , he is something a body , beast inside , sort of !!?!!!(*^o^*)
The idea of assistants doing the "heavy lifting" bothers me to no end! - I so endorse the sign David Hockney put next to his work when displaying near Damien Hirst: "All the works here were made by the artist himself, personally." Now we know that Murakami is a Japanese version of Hirst and Koons.
Not sure if I agree with this, you wouldn’t discount Tarantino if he didn’t set up all the lights, sound, and operated camera for Pulp Fiction on top of directing the talent would you?
These flowers look so simple but yet they are a masterpiece. My first time seeing them was in G-Dragon’s Breathe MV where he wore a denim jacket pinned with individual flowers all over it. When’s your first encounter with those famous flowers?
Can I just say I look up to tekashi so much he’s an incredible artist that no one knows for besides billies music video and his flower peices he is much more than that I’d kill to meet him
I got to photograph him for a Japanese editorial and got some great shots. He was there working all night. Been a fan since his super flat show at the Pacific Design Center. His pieces were selling for a one million at the time. For a living artist that was a big deal.
I used to think Murakami is just another businessman that fakes to be an artist, but this video changed my view. It’s like a statement that reveals his real artist pursuit or something like that.
I really really really find the quote at the beginning of this video is so powerful!!! I'm not quite sure who this man is although for some reason I feel like I completely understand?
queria entender, como essa florzinha se tornou um ''hype'' (e um produto caro tbm), deveria ter investido nos meus desenhos de criança a muito tempo ent
WOW! WHAT A PRETENTIOUS VIDEO. WHO EVER DIRECTED THIS "FILM" IS TAKING THIS WAAAAYS TO SERIOUSLY. I ALMOST COUGHED UP MY RAMEN. LET'S TALK ABOUT THE ARTEST. HE MIGHT HAVE DRAWN THESE "CARTOONS" BUT IT SEEM OTHERS ARE DOING MOST OF THE WORK. I'M NOT THAT IMPRESSED.
Takashi is a homless rich guy
He’s disguising his wealth
-BeyondAir- my typa vibe. But I’m the broke part
Murakami early work (1992) th-cam.com/video/taGarNIY5As/w-d-xo.html
Very true lmao, He's just super humble in my opinion
he’s not rich he is whealthy
Yo these English captions are CRAZY!
dawg i was like, are they wrong intentionally lmao
Are they real or fake?
I see nothing wrong, everythings absolutely normal.
I think is wrong or he's a real douche at the beginning talking with the girl!
Nah it's wrong. He isn't like that. You can tell when you see the subtitles during the store wherehe is signing. She said "taking" not "slaving" people. Still funny tho.

All he everyday shows is the Smiling Sunflowers but his other art is way more intriguing 😍😩
Like the statue of the guy cumming
That was back in the late 90s
His sculptures are awesome yes... and the hommage to Francis Bacon is interesting...

I want to live that soooo bad….his art…dreamlike. The symmetry. My brain soothed 🧠 gotta get me a shirt with a dope print.
Having ur art appreciated by the world would be a dream, but also a nightmare.
Amazing film! Takashi Murakami is one of my favorite artists!
I’d kill for one of his pieces
He's really famous for being himself. Vibrantly.
I love his art since I first saw his Exhibition in Frankfurt MMK.
I literally felt breathless after watching this. What a life.
I love those flowers😍
天才でもなく凡人でもなく、これが逸材

The Fabriek of Art
This video came out on my birthday 🎂 😭❤️
Damn it, Murakami, nice reference and reinterpretation of famous paintings by Francos Bacon at the ending of the video
He’s such a unique individual and I respect him so much
I used to think Murakami is just another businessman that fakes to be an artist, but this video changed my view. It’s like a statement that reveals his real artist pursuit or something like that.
Wow wonderful lovely smarte super proud of best world Best my favorite part of best friend very nice to see you again soon meet
The captions may not be precise but i think it sends the real message behind the actual things they say.
Reimagining Francis Bacon at the end? I love it!
Such a great artist 🌸🌻🌼 murakamisan
Fantastic work, video is just perfect.
This is absolutely art factory.
jeff koons too
Great video 🤙 sadly I couldn’t make it to 5th Avenue in time to meet him
I beg you to put captions on😭🤣🤣🤣
I hope he does another Uniqlo collab!! Also can’t wait for the new complex merchandise!! My last Murikami print went up crazy in value!
He is artist, but I think he is more like marketer and producer (of his own works)
🌼Takashi Murakami 🌼
He is like the happy version of andy warhol the factory
Nice to see I am not the only artist to sleep in my studio.
is the caption real? At the beginning?
WTF
No it's not what he's saying, i believe some idiot went and messed it up. It's either that or they just translated it VERY VERY badly.
He is ordering his staff to fix some masking tapes on that work because that work will be put under strong lighting on the exhibition
Those Francis Bacon rehashes at the end are so dope
Francis bacon. Three studies. Hmmm. I like what he did.
Wait he’s known for his flower pieces wow his bear pieces like his Chicago merch is insane
“Attention you creepy old stalkers” ffs sksksks 😂😂😂these captions are too funny
Saw his work in person when it was on display in Chicago. Fucking amazing
I like his pose & everythinggg→🤗 kawaiii~
Ayee I met him that day in the Uniqlo drop. He was too nice, I know he was overwhelmed asf
The man, the myth, the legend
the cut is crazy
Yay I'm in the video during the Uniqlo drop. Kinda sad that I'm part of Murakamis brain melting nightmares tho lmfao
My class learned about him during art
I really really really find the quote at the beginning of this video is so powerful!!! I'm not quite sure who this man is although for some reason I feel like I completely understand?
Takashi is right up there with Keith haring for me ♥️

That was fukN dope.🤘 that while build up... and then BAM! No more flowers🤘🍻🖌🎨
Cool take on Francis Bacon at the end.
I really want that Doraemon hoodie
No way, he is creating in his sleeps! Great example. Ok, I better get some sleepsss too. Cheers
subtitles are the best
It's bad for poor people because apparently the future is so expensive
I like his humor
Are the captions right, because damn 😂
He really said give the video some acid visuals

frustrating without subtitles
Muito bom! Parabéns!

Do you scoff at Martin Scorsese because he doesn’t edit his own movies?
Anyone else notice he took out his bun before he took his nap but it was back in when he got up?
Nooooo, the caption is hella wrong! lol
