I am fourteen and you have inspired me, now I am in love with fly fishing and I caught a native Brooke and a wild 14 in brown so thanks for the epic videos!!
My buddy and I call that “hitting for the cycle. But here in the upper Midwest it’s very difficult to do on one stream. I fish mainly Wisconsin and there are only a few streams statewide that have wild, naturally reproducing Rainbows.
Did this the other weekend in eastern WV in a creek most people don’t even fish even tho it’s the beginning of one of the biggest trout fishing rivers in the state. Love these vids man keep it up.
That was a really special stream - and an especially nice video you shared! Wonderful to see that all the fish were in such great condition. Thanks for another great adventure!
Another awesome video and therefor another great evening!! Thanks guys keep in the good work! Every video is incredible, I love discovering through them the awesome fishes of your regions and also some of the prettiest landscape you guys have!! Have a great time and thanks again!
Very cool! Yeah, not too many streams hold all three wild trout. There's a stream in NW Pa that has all three and I've gotten the wild trifecta several times on it. A very small club to be in.
What a great day on the water. It was a shame to see the sediment infiltration ruin the last spot of the day, but happy to put you on a wild slam (or three 😉)
I was able to accomplish this feat two days ago for the first time I was fortunate enough to spend the past week in North Georgia. No monsters on that list, but the list was complete something about it just holds that nostalgia. All of us fishermen understand.
@@hardmanfishing it was definitely a tributary of one of those streams with all the rain they had up there all the bigger systems were blown out and didn’t leave me much of a choice but to fish them lol The first day wasn’t bad I actually ended catching my first brown and a handful of small rainbows But on the second day of fishing, that watershed is when everything started to come together and here it is almost a week later, and I find myself in Florida my home state, trying to figure out the next time I can get back up there
@@hardmanfishing on a sidenote, I absolutely love your channel and have been watching for some years now I have to say watching you and your brother grow this company and also grow in your videography has been amazing but absolutely love the owner to fish with you guys one day
I’m always waiting for you to post a new video, you never disappoint, another amazing video! I went to a wild rainbow stream Recently and caught a few small ones including a 10 and 12 inch fish, I was so proud of myself being newer to the sport.
@@hardmanfishingthanks! Any tips on getting trout that are pressured and cautious to bite? I’m having trouble catching them because all the streams near me are pressured
any way to send you a direct message? i’m from the SC lowcountry. going to be at Jocassee next week and wondering if you have any advice about a good spot close by.

Loved the creek and the geology.
As an east coast trout fisherman, all 3 + a tiger trout is called a Grand Slam.
I've never even caught a wild tiger honestly

That's awesome! Especially from north Georgia (assuming they were all wild). I can think of maybe one or two streams where that may be possible there

Thank you! And sounds like you're doing pretty good, congrats on the fish on your recent trip
Reminds me of a place I know in michigan
Hard man needs to attempt to catch a big brown with a 3 weight🎉
I already have… several
The 19th was my birthday so my dad and I went fly fishing, not great conditions but I did get one good 15 inch trout on a elk hair caddis
That's awesome!! Congrats!

What cameras do you use?
What rod weight and length do you use for these streams
What rod and line are you using?😁
Hey, John - I tried doing a search of your channel without any results: are you keeping your flies barbed or are you pinching them?
most of my flies are barbless, the only barbed flies are a few of my smaller nymphs / dries and my streamers.
Have you done any videos on mousing yet?
Nope! But I have gone out a few times
Hay man what part of WV you from, I grew up in Mason county and have property there.

I wouldn't know much about that area anyways, but you can always reach out to me on instagram
