Great Video! One suggestion if I may: Solo an instrument for a moment when you pull it up, so we can identify it better in the mix. Especially the Organ and the Shaker were almost inaudible. Also good to clearly show the position after panning.
I've always struggled with the mixing part. I've made many beats in the part, some terrible some pretty great, even sold a few. Left music for ages can't remember how to use fl studio so gone back to mixcraft for now to start off cuz it's relatively simple, but being relatively simple to use doesn't help my lack of mixing skills lol, like some stuff is obvious it needs to be reduced or increased, but I find it hard to mic the whole thing perfectly and get it to sound really good :(
Hey there! That's correct, no MIDI Keyboard or instruments are required to use Mixcraft, so you can give the trial a spin as long as you have a compatible computer!
So would you take care of this mixing process before adding EQ and other FX? Or is it better to get your EQing done, A/B to make sure levels are good, then start this mix process?
Also, this is the opposite of what I've heard before , I was always told start with everything on full blast and then reduce things. Although I have tried it the way stated in this video as well, I just don't have the ear for mixing lol Doesn't help that I don't have things labeled right half the time (I have ADHD my brain is chaotic which is reflected in my music and my crazy house, if everything isn't everywhere I forget it exists lol mh friend is the same , she literally has all her belongings strewn all around her house and I was like 'doesn't this bother you? My little flat is cluttered and makes me mad, you have a 2 storey house thats in a far worse state how do you not go mad?' She said she does but if she tidies things away she forgets stuff exists, I'm the exact same! I prefer things organised but I tend to just keep everything piled up round me
Hey there! You can go about it either way actually - if you'd like you can export your mix session to a lossless high-quality WAV file and master in a separate session, or simply master the track by adding any mastering effects to the master output buss!

Hey there! Certainly - for that you can click on your audio clips and go to the 'sound' tab next to the mixer in the lower window and set the tempo setting to 'use project tempo' to set the tracks to follow the projects tempo setting. As long as you know the BPM of the tracks, this will give you perfectly synced results. Otherwise, Mixcraft will try to automatically determine the tempo as best it can.
Throw the developers a bone here. What plugins? What version of Mixcraft and what operating system? All the plugins I use work just fine, and have done through the many upgrades I've done over the years. I'm using Windows 10 Ultimate on a ten-year old Intel i7 box with 16gb RAM. Mixcraft 9 Studio Pro (64 bit).
@@韩佳明-u2c I have a built-in sound-card that is OK for playback but not for recording due to latency/lag. I use an old Line6 TonePort UX2 with its own ASIO drivers for my guitar and microphone interface. There are many inexpensive USB interfaces on eBay and AliExpress that will do the job. Glad you found the problem and good luck.

I already have mixcraft 8 studio pro... Can I just updated it? Or do I have to just fully purchase Mixcraft 9 pro now?
We offer a variety of upgrade options! You can check out all the info on upgrading at:

Can you color code the fader strips to where the whole thing is colored - or is it just the little strip at the bottom?

Gotta keep going , keep trying until it does .
Less is more regarding Fx! People often go crazy putting Fx on everything. If it sounds good leave it trust your ears.
You make it sound so easy!
It's all about practice!
How do you separate drum sounds to separate tracks?

That would be up to you! There's not really any one right way to go about it.
I cant hear the keys and the bass is lost in 4 guitars but I've got the idea thanks.

Is this merged and saved as one track .wav before mastering?

I thought you supposed to leave your faders at unity gain and use a gain plugin vmfor volume
This is easier than a Kentucky Girlfriend, on food stamps, wanting to make a little extra change.
