Thank you for a fascinating tour of craft I'd normally never get close to. My grandfather had, what Americans would call, a cabin cruiser that lives on the Thames just down from Henley. It's loads of fun to see the regatta, but nowhere near an ocean. I think my favorite is the Morganstar. A very romantic piece of history.
we enjoyed seeing your walk around the boat show ,getting to long in the tooth to manage it now but have often been to the show purchased our first dingy there many years ago so many thanks for your vidio
Thanks Captain for the insight to the show I didn’t realise it was so extensive. When you see the cruise ship from this angle you really see how big they are
the ex navy boat at the end is HSL 102 part of National Historic Fleet, she normally is berthed at the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard visible on the Warrior web cam
That's what I thought, if you have never been, it's nive to see what it's all about. I didn't want to spend ages on any one product, as if you don't have a boat, several mins on a new chart plotter will be very boring shipamte.
Wow great show thanks. The cars are the ones that I would like. I live on the island of Anglesey wales. The bridges over the Menai can get quite blocked with traffic. That car would be useful. (and in the floods in winter) Glad you had a good day sure you came home with a large wishlist?
Thank you Captain very enjoyable but I'm going to have to stick to my radio controlled yacht methinks unless I can win a triple rollover on the old lottery been doing the same numbers for twenty years now they must come up soon :)
Everything that the serious boating enthusiast could possibly want. Pontoon arrangement is high quality stuff.
Thanks Captain.
Thanks shipmate
i owned a 22ft cabincrusier/centerboarder up to 1992 - but here i see some brands i still remember ... thank you for posting this
Thank you Captain hubby and I really enjoyed your tour of the boat show. We did a lot of fantasy shopping, well we can dream can’t we 👏👏
I would have bought the Dorset Vodka, but he wasn't open that day.
@@SolentShips Would it have kept you afloat...?
"...... to get laydees in the water....." lol Cap'n. Thank you for this excellent video Sir.

Indeed shipmate, a very long wish list. I think the Dutton Aphicar would be ideal if you live on Anglesey.
Great video shipmate
Thanks shipmate
Did you have a sound effect of the yachts or 2as it actually there
Added in the sound for ambience shipmate
Thank you Captain, that was really interesting
Any idea why there were no clothes stands this year?
I didn't notice shipmate, to busy looking at the boats

@Solent Ships Wow that's much beta congrats Cap'n 👍
Thanks shipmate.
U don't realize how far they went in building the pontoons
It's a big job shipmate. They start months before and it takes a month or two to break down as well.
Was thinking the same thing Daniel
