Best sling for my money is the Nutsac Speed Sling. Been carrying it since it first released and while I've tested other slings throughout the year, I continuously keep coming back to the Speed Sling. Great materials, just the right amount of organization, and the perfect size make it an easy recommend.
The samurai is a well deserved winner! I have one as will since this year and love it. Together with my kargo loculus (which is my outdoor/dog walk sling) it is my most used bag
Woah, I use a couple of these bags. My EDC is the Bellroy Venture Ready Sling 2.5L - love it, perfect size and premium materials. My bag for a small camera & its accessories is that Wotancraft 3.5L sling - very good, lots of compartments for both camera stuff and EDC stuff, the only downside is it's a little stiff when I'm packing it within a larger bag or luggage, but it's a compromise as that stiffness gives confidence in protecting the camera .
I have been EDC'ing the TomToc Wander T26 in X-Pac ... It is a great sling but the best feature (besides the X-Pac Material) is the rotating buckles that move with your body ... I wearing it daily and it even stays in place when I wear it while riding my motorcycle ... Highly recommended.
I just watched this sling video of yours as well as the messenger bag one. Having recently watched your channel's duffel bag showcase, I learned of the Finnish Savotta brand, and promptly bought their 30L "Keikka" duffel bag, a lot because of your review. Awesome duffel bag it is, and it led me to order and receive today their Savotta 7L "Askare" hip/waist bag which works great as a 7L sling worn diagonally on the back, or around the waist front or back facing. Worth a look maybe.
I would have given it to the Evergoods CAS2 v2 (better buckle placement, strap management), with the Bellroy 2.5L a close 2nd. Edit: I don’t like these taller format slings - everything tends to slide to the bottom and I end up digging for what I’m looking for; with long(er) and slim(mer) ones everything stays easily accessible.
C'mon now, we have a long history of supporting independent makers and small brands. Take D4 Bags, for example, featured in our Best Messenger category. The Wilboro Revival Satchel even won last year's Best Messenger award, with Greenroom taking home Best Active Messenger. And let's not forget Racing Atelier, the Vorman ❤, and our collaborations with Koch Tools and FidgetThings. You get the picture. 😉
The Packolab is just above everything else here...great review.
Packolab Samurai is what I would love to get!

Once. Just once, I’d love to see recognition from Carryology for a Tomtoc sling, like the Explorer series.

#1 Packolab for sure. I’ll also give a nod to Grams28 154 City Pack.
My favorite choice is the Packolab Samurai all the way. I my humble opinion nobody is even close. God bless! Be safe!

Packolab samurai is definitely the winner

The Grams 28 is my favorite sling out of the many I have in rotation. It fits my minimalist edc with a small camera for street photography.
I love my tom toc sling. I keep it in my work bag. Fits my kindle and phone. Nice pocket options.
The grip sling is incredible. I keep going back to it in my rotation

You can’t buy the packolab anywhere. Why review it
No contest here, correct.
Evergoods CAS2 would like to speak to the manager
Packolab Samurai.
Shocking your supporting an independent maker

Packolab Samurai
Sadly I can't agree. None of those top 3 are sling bags. they are like mini messenger way too big
