I don’t understand why he says it feels cheaper. The only way I can tell is the paint. They both feel the same. The dogs look better and even if the paint is different it looks just as good. I’d say they did it better then unique toys if just because it’s way cheaper priced.
I have them both. It’s actually the exact same weight. To the ounce. And for $100 less I’d say it’s way better. Selling my unique toys one. They both feel the same. Great great piece.

And on the point of resell value, the figures are almost identical and I doubt the UT version would become more valuable without this one following suit.

UT do deserve all the credit for their "black magic" bots. Each time I Transformers Challenger, it's like: where did that truck go!?
I now have the Unique Toys version and the first difference I noticed is the look of the front windshield in alt mode. The one from UT has added black paint around the frame of the windshield whereas this one from BSL doesn't.
Sweet! I don't care for Perukill as a Character (he killed Ratchet, so burn in hell). But as a model it looks good. But not good enough to shell out for the UT version. So might pick this up. I DID buy the UT Challenger, which is a damn amazing Transformer
Figure is good but i dont know when you grab it or make him stand it gives me that feeling that he is so flat! I dont know the arms are bit shy on this figure especially his hands. absolutely fantastic appearance in the back everything seems well placed. 7/10
No car mode comparison? I'm not certain, but I think the most obvious giveaway that this is the KO is less paint in car mode, specifically around the windshield.
Well it was bound to happen sadly since he was the best Transformer of 2017 imo and has been my favourite character since he was created for Transformers Animated. I hope this doesn't affect UT's production sales so much that they stop making great figures from the movieverse, got Challenger on the way and looking forward to Mega (even though I want the new Rensora too! and have the original and Hasbro voyager..). I guess this could be useful to have as a 2nd Lockdown displayed with the gunhead next to the original..lost count of how many Lockdowns I have! LOL.

Just get the UT challenger, only $100, the only reason I'd get the BSL toys lockdown is because Peru kill is $158 ish. Always get the official if you can.
Thank your lucky stars, 3rd party manufacturers are doing a hell of a job for Lockdown or any transformers for that matter ...leave it to Hasbro to do a lockdown and they will give you a mcdonalds toy. They just produce shit at double the price.

The rear thigh panels on the BSL "KO" are actually metal - not plastic. At least they certainly are on mine.

This figure has always looked a bit weird to me, something about it just seems off but I'm not sure why
The windshield is smaller than usual. Because the edges of it are unpainted.. And the figure itself is not glossy
My personal problems are the legs ( bit lengthy ), the hands ( also bit lengthy ) and the face ( it should be more gray )!
How can you put up with the blue circus optimus? You have the far superior black mamba one, that actually has paint. Why not use that?
