I like the black on this one and that the two dogs look different. Definitely getting this one. Great review. You and emgo made me rediscover my Transformers love again and i already have three awesome primes now already!
Haha, yeah - me too! I have gone from buying a couple of little ones for my kids, to ordering 6-7 MPM sized bots for myself in a matter of weeks!
The high quality gloss finish is definitive factor on this version. But, the Peru Kill color scheme is movie accurate. He wasn't jet black. More of a charcoal black.
Like a matte black that the BSL version has (almost grayish black)

YOU SOLD ME AGAIN BEN ! LOL ,placed my order for this version! I would have grabbed the Original by UT. But I've sort of been splurging lately on Official, 3rd and 4th party TF figures :p And this guy is what I could afford at the moment . But DAMN, maybe for the best! After this good review by you and hearing other collectors giving nothing but postive feedback over this KO they picked up from Visual Toys, I had to add him to my collection! And I love the darker, shinny tone on this model. Not a fan of the Bay movies, haha! Never saw the one with this character other than clips on TH-cam, but this Lockdown looks so Wicked COOL! Can't wait to have him in my hands. Thanks Again sir for this honest review...CHEERS !
Mine just arrived. I would have been happy with the UT version, but saw this on SirToys and the price is very reasonable.
It’s a great Lambo! Panels fit well for the most part, wheels roll nicely. Silver stickers for the rubber mirrors are a nice touch.
I found the transformation fun, and not too many steps. He looks very similar to Hot Rod, but is much larger. I think it will be a great candidate for this additional detail painting and touch ups.
The hands don’t have any moveable fingers, which is unusual, but a good toy for sure.

split lambo logo on chest is an understatement which both BSL & UT failed to put
They would have gotten sued. To me they where smart to not make the risk
while VT has glossy black finish on it like a real lambo should be, the paint actually scratch quite easily compared to the matte finish of both BSL & UT, I have all 3

@@EpykkDyzastur I have been waiting for the re-issue since 2019 Christmas, nothing came. They even released Challenger v2, Dragoon was out for $170, now its out of stock on all US at-least but ShowZ has them without base ($20 worth, so it's for $140), and TFSource for $20 extra at $190. Then you have R04-Nero Galvatron for $200, and there comes the twist, Galvatron Nero is only pre order based, that is Unique Toys is closing up shop, due to Wei Jiang close by Disney Lawyer hired by Hasbro in IP infringement and Transfans in FB put a video too, I feel sad that Peru Kill never got a re issue. BSL Is the best as it is rumored to be UT only, with Mr Bucket kit + Boombox wolves/dogs this is the last super flawless we have, UT #1, BSL #2, VT #3 if they didn't screw up this paint it would have been dope and better than UT.

Hey there Ben- I've just recently gotten into seriously collecting the most screen-accurate figures possible and you've been an absolutely incredible source of reference material for reviews and exploration of these figures. Would you please be able to tell me which of these KO Lockdown variants actually have a silver face?? All these UT R-01 PeruKill KO models seem like they're just plain black unpainted faces which is my biggest gripe.. and it's a shame since the rest of this aftermarket mold of Lockdown is stellar and so true to the film!!

The BSL windshield is "smaller" than the Unique Toys version. It's super-obvious in that first comparison shot with all the cars lined up.
Jon that is actually incorrect , both are exactly the same size to the mm except unique toys has a black surround making it blend better than the car coloured surround BSL opted for
@@BensKOllectables I consider that "black surround" to be part of the windshield since this toy is based on the Lamborghini Aventador, and the glass on that car goes from A-pillar to A-pillar. Clearly that was the effect UT was going for when they painted the area around the "glass" inset black to match the inset. Still, the difference is incredibly obvious without the need for blue tack to tell the two toys apart.

I'm glad i decided to get the BSL one instead of this one. The paint on the BSL is so much better. I like the color on his car a little better on this one, but it's not accurate.
Same, I prefer the matte black/ grayer black on BSL
The only reason I’m probably getting the VT version is because of the lambo logo on the chest.
Get this if you still dont have a Perukill but i still prefer that detail on the forehead/eyebrows though :)
The only thing that bothers me on this mold is that it doesn’t have windshield wipers but that’s okay.

It's nearly impossible to peg the lower abs on the hips in this version of the figure compared to the unique toys one. If somebody found a solution I'm all ear...
I got this copy as a early christmas present. Price is really reasonable and looks and converts fantastically. Really great figure and a great addition for my dragoon and battle damage challenger, and la hire. I'm probably not gonna get the ut galvatron. Heared theres been reports of breakage and i dont want a figure that can break easily do to quality issues

I just got this guy was really looking forward to him however when transforming him for the first time I noticed the panel on his upper left thigh is missing which makes the leg look incomplete. Very disappointed

So this transformer is the one that did it for me a few years ago... many years ago I guess now or whatever but when it first came out, I saw the video and I thought holy shit I've been out of it for a long time, I'm going to get me some transformers!
now that I have it and it's probably number 20 in my collection of masterpieces, I'm very unimpressed.
I thought it would be a lot better. I despise how the arms don't lock, I think the one mechanism is neat using the missiles and the other tab to isolate the rotation but, the tire under flap just comes undone every time for me so maybe I'm missing something there... mine has something wrong with it to wear putting his chest down is an issue because there's a metal piece kind of blocking the bracket nearest collarbone from being flush.
other than that he's pretty cool I mean I love his car mode I think he's definitely one of the best sexiest best rolling cars lol he rolls well

The entire chest area (from waist area up to the shoulders and nick) folds out from the waist and up over his head
It's kind of difficult to tell in the video, but is there a height difference between the three figures?
The thing is, is that this Lockdown transformer toy, was in vehicle mode when in package.
How did lockdown get the 3 scratches on his chest?
Not sure. But he got it before the events in AOE.

Ok guys help me on this one, which is more worth the BSL or the VT Lockdown?
I'm very happy with my BSL version and i'd definetly recommend it. It's also way more accurate than this one.

@@mohammadazraazriazhar2170 Eeeh, i prefer the dog that comes with BSL. I hate the headsculpt on the two that come with VT, and i also dislike the silver. The brown and silver combo just looks ugly to me.
I didn't really care for the dog anyways, i just wanted Lockdown.
I say BSL because the colors are more accurate, the movie definitely had a matte black/grayish black color to Lockdown. My only regret is that the accessories had a few QC problems
