Not that extreme on itself. Her lowest note is the lowest an alto can get. So listen to any contralto. Those women go below. But alto & contralto all have by nature a low voice. Diana hasn't. it's a technique she's using which is uncommon & she has mastered.

I just found her video last night and I've already listened to it about 100 times (no exaggeration). I read in the comments on another video, the guy who hit his button last is/was her mentor and took her under his wing. He wanted to wait for a long enough break in the music so he didn't interrupt her incredible performance. She was also 15 when this performance was recorded. :)

Diana [Dee-Anna] was born May 31, 2003. This performance was May 12, 2019. She was 15 y.o. She already won more then 50 musical tournaments. She is a true contralto. She is a russian national treasure (only two singers in Russia have this title, it's like a title "Living Legend" in US and Europe).
It was shown on television on May 12, but the recording was made much earlier.

Loved your review! She is only 15 and was abandoned by her mother who was insane and abused her eventually dumping her in the street when she was tiny. Went to orphanage, adopted, could hardly speak and was encouraged to sing to develop her communication skills. Amen.

This is a vocal contest of the Russian NTV channel for children with a difficult fate. The competition is called "You are super!".
Diana won it at age 14. This year, the channel announced the Super Season of the contest, she participated in it for the second time and won the Grand Prix.

вообще африканцы самые музыкальные, очень тонко чувствительные к музыке,ритму,имеют музыкальный слух и изобретательны в музыкальных стилях,всегда на "передовой" и в "моде". Я завидовала по-хорошему певцам чернокожим за их прекрасные бархатные голоса, какие-то уникальные тембры. А Диана-самородок ,слава Богу что такой голос родился в России !!! Очень хотела бы, чтобы эти блогеры и другие были на концерте у Дианы и слушали ее вживую!!

So glad "this generation" has a chance to hear "Wicked Games" by Rick Isaak. It is a classic and if you've never heard of the late Roy Orbison (or even Elvis!), you will hear the sound of a timeless era that was as naturally beautiful as its stories were pure of love. Kudos to guitarist Jame Calvin Wilsey as well for his hauntingly beautiful intro. ...And the set designer captured the essence and depth of the song along with the "wicked" vocals flowing out of Diana's mouth!
