This is not The Voice. It's a Russian TV show called "You're Super!". Chairs and buttons are similar to The Voice, but there are no blind auditions and this show is only for disadvantaged children to complete. This was not Diana's first appearance. Contestants need at least 3 judges votes (by pushing buttons) to progress to the next round. Yes, Diana is quite amazing and unique. Enjoy. :)

Another Popular song is Diana Ankudinova ( human ) It is in English , she also does Spanish and French very well . She seems to make all the songs her own . She has turned 16 years old about 2 months ago .

Diana has become my second favorite singer (after Dimash), I especially love her cover of “Human”. For recommendations I’d say either Human, or perhaps better next, a song that you can different names: “River” or “Rechenka” or “Song of the orphan bride”

Now that was a nice reaction Jenn. After all the covers on this song 3 are my favorites. The originals from Chris back in "89" ( which I fell in love with back then) Then there's Diana Ankudinova I love how she took it & made a big production without letting it overwhelm her & she turned it into a great Pop song in a modern way with a little Russian folk song style to it. I believe Diana is a either a contralto profondo or a low contralto. Than there's Angelina Jordan's arrangement &
composition of it, she went the exact opposite direction completely stripped it down on just her little keyboard in her room playing 3-4 cords & just telling a story using her voice just amazing. (Side note when asked about her doing this song she said " that one day she just went into her room & wanted to play around with song & it's words) & as they say the rest is history. Since 2 years I'm a Diana's fan. I think I saw all her videos, including those of her very young childhood. So many of her performances are great, it's hard to make a choice.
Of course, Rechenka (14 yo) is the best known, and obviously amazing, very dark and deep:

Thank you for your reaction to Diana Ankudinova. Diana actually turned 16 on 31st May 2019, but was 15 at the time of this performance. The show she is on here is Ты супер! (translated as "You are Super") and it is for children who have found themselves without parental care at some point in life. According to the programme, Diana was abused by her biological mother until around the age of 3 years, and ended up in an orphanage. While there, a massage nurse named Irina Ponik took care of her, and a strong bond was formed, to the extent that a year afterward Diana was adopted by Irina, and Irina has been her "Mom" ever since. It seems that for the first year or so Diana would hardly speak, and singing lessons were recommended, and the rest is history. Diana is now with a loving family, and her music training goes from strength to strength. Since winning the show, she has received much support from Igor Krutoy, the bald guy on the judges panel, and who is one of Russia's foremost composers and song writers. You may have seen him play piano for Dimash sometimes. Diana's cover of "Rechenka" a Russian folk song, on the same show in 2018 is something else, and very much worth watching. Hello there Jenn thank you so much for your reactions to Diana Ankudinova she is a gifted singer I apologize for being so late with my reply as I just discovered Diana on TH-cam threw these reactions I did some research into her she has had a interesting and possibly dark life I've also discovered she can go to the high notes I think she sings in the darker low notes to give the songs a presence aside from herself she does speak with a normal voice it saddens me me that I can only find her on TH-cam the world should know of this gifted child

She was 15 here , Russian prodigy, Angel 😇 she has a true Contralto Voice , her tone , voice control is epic ..she will be 18 in may, next you should react to Rechenka.. translate to River, very old russian folk song she turns into epic performance..her childhood was tragic abuse, beaten and nearly killed by her birth mother , found her on the street in the middle of winter with a broken shoulder at 4 years old taken to a orphanage and did not speak or not well , a wonderful women who worked there adopted her and sent her to singing lessons to help her with her speech, now everyone is speachless!

Her name is Diana (Dee-Anna) Ankudinova (Ann-coo-din-ova). The show is called You're Super. It's for disadvantaged children in Russia. Hi. I just subscribed to ur channel and find you very honest about ur reactions, a bit behind but right on point with this reaction she is one of my favorite new singers that the music industry has to offer. she does have multiple MV out there and I personally have collected them all on my channel
For a complete understanding of Diana you must understand that in fact she began to sing before speaking! Her mother was an alcoholic and did not care about the child at all, Diana was constantly hungry and no one even spoke to her. And when Diana was about three years old, her "mother" tried to drown her in the bathroom! Diana broke free and ran away from the house, on the street passers-by picked her up and took her to the police station, Diana was placed in an orphanage, and her mother was deprived of her parental rights.
There was a nurse in the orphanage who loved Diana so much that she adopted her. But the child actually did not know how to talk at all, because NOBODY talked to her until three years old! Her speech apparatus was completely undeveloped! After long trips to various doctors, the adoptive mother was advised to take Diana to a vocal studio in order to facilitate the development of speech abilities more easily. That is why Diana from four years old is constantly engaged in singing - and God grant the health and happiness of her real mother (not a fake biological one) for saving this soul and talent for all of us!
And it is precisely the difficult fate and personal history that allows Diana to FEEL every song, she’s not just “singing words” or imitating someone’s performance, but she is experiencing SENSE - it is clear that she LIVES with music, and not just shows talent ...
