Really want that November Burst. Been playing guitar since I was 14 and Slash was the reason I picked up the guitar in the first place. Ever since the November Rain video I have never wanted a guitar so much.
Wow. these are really great examples. The flame is so ribbon like. Really great! Even if you're not a fan of Slash, these are still really beautiful guitars
Yes. It was made by a guy named Kris Derrig (has since passed away) . He was known for making 50s replicas at a time where Gibson didn't produce the "Historics". Slash has at least 3 of them I think.
@@lewisratford2908 Yes, it was a 1959 modded by Frank Levi (Who passed away last year sadly. He was not involved in the production of the AFD100 amp, a fact that he wasn't too pleased with). It was known as #36 at S.I.R (Studio Instrument Rentals) Slash tried to steal it (claiming it was lost by the crew, or that someone else stole it from them) , but a roadie brought it back to S.I.R for rehearsals one day, a guy who worked there saw the amp and promptly took it back 🤣. Slash's relationship with S.I.R soured after that.. A few years later when they recorded the UYI album(s), they again rented amps from S.I.R, but this time, Slash actually managed to buy the amp that he favoured, it's known as #34, and it's also one of the modes found on the AFD100 Signature Amp released by Marshall (the other mode being the Appetite sound, #36). #34 is a Marshall JCM800 2203 that was also modded by the aforementioned Frank Levi.
Probably from the little thicker neck on these. The specs say these have a 50's carve instead of the 60's thinner type carve he had in the past. I have the custom shop Vos Appetite and it's neck is much thicker than the Gibson USA Slash releases. I always thought that was weird. Also I don't understand why they didn't put Seymour Duncan Alnico II's in these that he's synonymous with?
@@kcave23 I saw someone hypothesize that they didn't use SDs because this is a permanent line and not a limited release, so they wouldn't be able to get enough pickups from SD. Makes sense.
i m sorry but the november rain color isn't close to the one slash used in the videoclip. just watch the first solo outside the church in the videoclip
Jack is an incredible player. It's hard to capture that Slash feel but I think that he pretty much nails it. Epic sound.
Not really ...at all... ya big ass kisser...
Not even close dude. He has slash’s set up but completely played the intro wrong lol
Shrey Jaiswal copyright.
7:07 damn that sounded awesome. Just missing a top hat!

Dare I say these blokes are getting a better tone than Slash himself, as of late. Well done, chaps.
0:54 That's how I set up my amp too!

Awesome video and Jack is on point throughout

Thanks for learning and playing some of slash’s non GNR work. Really nice playing !
Already pre-ordered the November burst from Sweetwater.
I kinda want the Appetite burs or November. Getting a Plexi and a good cab first.
Wow lucky, it looks amazing
Nice to hear a Gibson demo where guitar is in tune :)
Slash is gibsons favourite son,. This must be his 40th signature guitar,. Everyone else has one or two 😂
Its because slash saved Gibson from drowning
Rishi Rasaili their guitarists are overpriced man
@@shreyjaiswal1683 he wants to earn😂
What’s the song at 12:03?
Don’t forget Joe Bonamassa with every kind of Epi signature too
I love when there's a fender play and before a Gibson tv video lol
Isn't the real truth that Slash during the recording of 'Appetite' was using a replica Les Paul?
Neil Aspinall that’s what I read...and the amp was never to be seen again too

RickyboyH cool 😎 man ! Great info !
@@Nghilifa Well why are Gibson taking all the credit then?
Can’t wait for these to come out in an Epiphone body!
I love lp november burst
Omg that yellow finish.. It is so nice
Great video guys and some awesome guitars, Slash is a legend
Great presentation of these amazing guitars thanks for all your effort guys much appreciated
These guitars are absolutely stunning and sound unreal through the AFD100 amp....need in my life!
Great video. The last jam was awesome.
Those LP's are beautiful.
Ross Campbell omg Harry Potter what’s up
WOW great video guys and Jack is amazing as always
Super cool Video, but can you make a video about the signature amp too?
It would be awesome to know more about it
I have the vermilion from 2013. It's hard to tell over a video but they seem to sound a little fuller or something.. hows the build quality.

Slash got many of his guitars from Albert Molinero at Guitar‘s R Us in Los Angels in the beginning.
That greenburst is killer. Would like great with zebra pickups!
Can someone let me know what song this riff is from at 9:49 ?
its VRs Slither...(;...
Damn, this is awesome. Was late picking up my girlfriend for a wedding because I had to finish this video.
The best review! Congratlations
Well, this sounds huge. Nailed the sounds, guys!
Dan Brazier what’s the song at 12:04v
I’m debating whether to buy the appetite burst or a standard 50s Tabasco burst
So buy a november !
Do an entire video on the appetite burst
Jack alyways looks so bored while he's shredding your face off. My favorite player on TH-cam
awesome video fellas
I've been debating on if I want one, thx for helping me on this decision. I'm getting a AFD! Great vid guys👍
I just wonder how these guitars sound clean with a bit more midrange out of the amp.
How could anyone not like Slash 😎
from all the comments in the last few days, a lot of people are either not fans or just super jealous.... i am STOKED!
Killer intro!
5:25 what’s the song ?
November Rain
When are they out officially?
Black red
I like is looking forward to go to
I can ask for a while ago and I have to go to the

Nice video
The headstock looks wider than his older signatures, anyone noticed or I’m trippin lol.
Mahdista salman I think you've had eaten a lot of magic mushrooms

Pisk Six made for kids in action ,lol

Nice 🤘🏻
for the slash fan sake..let jammed that paradise city tune.
Good video but please you need to work the iconic november rain solo man
Gold?
Not having space, funds or happy enough neighbours to purchase a Marshall amp head/cab.... is there any point in owning a Slash inspired Les Paul?
Ses guitare son magnifique
anyone else getting weird clipping audio?
Why does slash need 50 signature guitars that are all identical?
Beautiful guitars.
Not even slash himself sounds as good as these guys (tone wise).
New line of guitars from Gibson, the gimme all your effin money line! Starting at way way too much up to actual infinity!
Will probably just stick with my 2012 Rosso Corsa tbh
That's an aggressive and forward tone without using a wah pedal.
Cool guitars. But “sell by the bucketload” at £2600?!
Finance
Ironically, this is the cheapest you'llgwver get any Slash signature from Gibson. Previous models started at over 3K easy. Usually 4-6k
Could get on rather well with Jack, John Mayer and Slash ¡¡¡¡]-;)’
Noise gates on microphones are no bueno...
I don't think i have ever seen Slash play the anaconda.
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Slash is one of the most overrated players...Hes mediocre at best...The guitars are nice though.
ÖMERİN SALSH OLDU AMA OLSUN BEN DE ATAR MISIN BANA BİR ŞEY YOK Kİ
