All Them Sounded Great With Their Lows But...
Aretha
Mariah
Beyonce
Jazmine
Brandy
All Had Me Shook!!
It's very unusuall to hear those crazy low notes from women, thanks a lot for doing this)
P.S Mariah went down to slightly F2 in the last clip, it was almost pure air but it's still there
+Lkzpe thanks! Yeah, maybe, but most people are not counting the F2, it's nothing but air 😅
Lkzpe I wish it was anything but air, but it's just air and people keep saying it's F/F# but it ends at Bb2
I Worship Gays And Satan it is an F, tho
This is the only compilation where I feel normal.
maybe she could even go low to Eb2 in chest with fry
The fact that Mariah can hit a very audible F#2 and also can hit a Bb7 whistle at the same time and she even did F#8 acapella in her dolphin video 2019 and her highest belt was A5. 👑👑👑👑👑👑👑
Mariah is such a legend, she has an F2 in 2016
Lalah was the best. Loved Lisa, Mimi, Miley, Aretha, Aretha, Keke, JoJo Nina too. Loved Rachelle's Bb2 @ 6:53.
Ivete's A2 was really good.
09:22 NOT TODAY SATAN
Miley's B2 >>>>>
😎
I AM SLAYED
TayTay BeyNippy I'm already slayed at the intro lol
So, Mariah is not just the queen of high notes but low notes too.
I'm tenor and I have just one semitone lower.
Abraham Rodríguez she is NOT and has NEVER BEEN. All AIR
Yep; a lot of people don’t realize when they talk about range, it’s from how low to how high one can sing; people hear range and only think high notes. Some of those 5 octaves that Mariah has include very low notes.
THE PALACE NOW HAS A QUEEN
"Queen of Lows" is a stretch.
20 y.o. male here, I'm not sure about my vocal classification since my voice could still deepen (talking about puberty, not aging), but I tend to think that I'm a low tenor. Anyways, if I'm super relaxed in the morning, I can sing a non-breathy F#2 or even F2. Now it's almost midnight, and I can barely hit a G2, which lacks resonance, is breathy, and I pushed my larynx a bit down to get the note.
For a soprano is crazy hit a F2, SlayMariah 11:01
Vocals videos that was post pregnancy and her voice matured she’s more of a mezzo soprano now
: C Mariah has always been, and always classified herself as an Alto.
Stefani-Eden Knowles-Carey Shes a soprano
Y’all she said that naturally she’s an alto that had a great upper belting range. Voice classification isn’t determined by the notes you can hit it’s determined by where your tessitura sits. She is a light-coloratura soprano. She’s just more limited now because of her nodules that won’t allow her to go as high as she wants (belting wise) however she can still go up to E5/F5.
Gay homeless with pink nails Some of her low notes sound like J star. That guy who sang hallelujah on X factor.......
Thank you for including the NINA SIMONE!! I enjoy her so much and I’ve been trying to hit her low note in “Black is the Color of My True Loves Hair” for awhile 😭💜
I really love to hear women hitting low notes xD Amazing video =D
+Gilmar Santos thanks!
Miley Cyrus caught me. Offguard be in on this list, let alone that note was 🔥
Brandy 😍😍😍 and tony braxton I love their iconic voices.
Of the younger singers, Miley's is the most effortless.
its incredible how xtina was singing in falsetto and then she went down to that b2 (in love whit her tone)
Lalah is just amazing! The texture of her voice is just like velvet. Love how Aretha get's to her notes. She does this beautiful slide into her lower register. Aretha creates beautiful art in her lower register.
Toni got that RICHNESS
I wish people cheered as much for low notes than high notes. For a long time I thought my register was pure shit I just tried to sing too high for my voice 🤷🏽♀️
i find it impressive!!! I think people are starting to catch up as long as u sound gorgeous thats what singing is!
She’s the queen of high AND low notes. Mariah is the queen of everything.
MILEY’S B2 SOUNDED SO EASY WHAT THE FUCK
The intro is Beyoncé singing opera
what song is it?
@@belzebub6663 bow down
i really wanna learn how to sing this low :'((
anerizzia you armyyyyyyyyyy
Low larynx, chest resonance and fry 👌
Sajju Art of everything I sing very much so lower than them and it’s very comfortable I damn near sound like a baritone man and I’m low key offended by these attempts
@@Kalavatinails same
@@gillianomotoso328 HOW
Great Video! I can see the effort you took here (as always).
Thanks! I hope this won't overlap your upcoming videos because both are low notes related :)
Aw, I wish you used some clips by Britney, she has a very good Bb2 and 2 G#2's :/ And you could've used more clips by Miley like her E2-D2 :v
+Love 2 Love Brit can you link Britney's notes to me? 😅
And I'm quite doubtful about Miley, it's like growling idk
She also has very clear g2s, like it's not as airy
Yes for JOJO hunny!
Keke wyatt killing a Bb2 whoa!!! I was surprised
I wish I saw something like this as a kid I thought my voice was too low
I finally decided to test my comfortable range today, because I have a pretty deep voice, as far as women go. I found that I can create a pretty solid B2, with zero training. So, I searched youtube to see what kinds of nice sounds can be created by the masters, in a similar tone, and now I'm considering actually getting some lessons. Because if I can do a B2 with no training, imagine what my voice could be with some proper training! That's a pretty exciting possibility for me, I think.
20 y.o. male here, my voice isn't particularly deep but it could still deepen (talking about puberty, not aging), but I tend to think that I'm a low tenor. Anyways, if I'm super relaxed in the morning, I can sing a non-breathy F#2 or even F2. Now it's almost midnight, and I can barely hit a G2, which lacks resonance, is breathy, and I pushed my larynx a bit down to get the note.
For me, vocal lessons didn't really help me unlock more lower notes; during class we stayed in chest voice, no vocal fry or whatsoever added (though I know singers can utilise a well-developed vocal fry further down; that could prolly add another octave below my chest voice). Though my chest voice has been strengthened by a lot thanks to the lessons.
We have yet to develop my belting / mixed voice, since I'm still an amateur. The journey is indeed long...
Damn Patric is that you😂😂 0:40
I love how brandy is comfortable with her voice range and jazmine
I am impressed by these low but sum of them i wouldnt even count as low notes bcuz they are 2 airy
i'm pretty sure the B2 from pink was the guy singer cause she was def singing that up an octave. also miley's b2 was fricken shocking
never mind, i listened to the studio version a whole bunch and i agree with you now my bad. But they have like the same timbre it's so cool
My favorite is Miley, she sounds thicc in lower notes
Brandy
Mariah
Jasmine
Miley
Aretha
Beyonce
Lala
Toni.
Took low note to a whole new level.
Lisa Fischer ended them all
Nina Hagen has a sustained F#2 in Heal The World as well, plus she can go down to at least D2 in chest and possibly Bb1
yes she has first octave notes but they are pushed
Beyoncé!!!!!
Loved it I can see your effort as always. Mariah,Lisa and Aretha were my favs especially lisa she is amazing .
+Zeinab QUEEN just tried my best 😂
Yeah, i agree. Lisa is really amazing, her voice is developed in any registers!
Wow,i am a 14 years old girl from Brazil and my record was a G#2
Ivete sangalo amazing ❤
omg i love this! you probably have the most well made/nicest videos on this site lmfao, up there with slaychelle. i just wish you started a little higher, though, since a lot of these women are lowering their larynxes like all hell here lmfao
+daydream thank you so much honey 😘
Yeah, most of them had lowered larynx here. I'm thinking of making part 2 for higher notes too, but it might take forever because anyone can sing those note 😂
@@QanhMusicz Please, make a part 2! Also yes, obviously they have to lower their larynx, the second Octave is pretty extreme for Mezzos, especially for Sopranos. Contraltos are uncomfortable in the second Octave too, so that's why. I've never heard a female support in the 2nd Octave.
Im digging most of these the b2's may be my new favorite note
Great video dear!!!! I love how you edit your videos! I must say...I was so impressed with my fav lol just hearing her compete and beat most of these heavier, lower voices is impressive. Aretha's lower register slays, rachelle Farrell, lalah and Lisa killed it too...those are my top 5 from this video
MikeJMCarey93 thanks! And even more impressive, Mariah appeared on every single note here (except for G2 obviously lol)
that run at 9:51!
Awww was hoping to see grace jones
I hope I get to sing as low as B2 some day. My lowest note currently is Eb3. And I love singing lower than getting into my falsetto by the time I hit E5.
Mine is D3 and I look forward to hitting somewhere between A2/F2
@@Leodoll85 my lowest is A2 and I can't sound good at it ... lowest at a performance is C3 .. and im a male
Toni rulez the low notes...
music website: a soprano's range is typically C4-A5! crazy right?!
mariah carey: 11:01
nina hagen: 10:18
brandy and jasmine sullivan: *exists*
Christian Smith they're all Altos in actuality
@@arxsyn i don't think mariah carey is an alto?? or was an alto... her voice definitely got deeper within age
@@chrispychip12 I think she is an alto that was just blessed with a great upper register tone. The highest she has belted live was like g#5 meanwhile ariana and demi lovato can belt up to like a5 and Bb5 with worse techniques.
@@thunderstorm__8147 you do realise that alto and contralto are different, right? i never said mariah was a contralto, nor did i even say she was an alto...
@@thunderstorm__8147 what's the point of saying it though?
Wow these are great - Nina Simone especially on the B2 from black is the colour
Lalah is another one comfortable with her voice I love it , I’m still trying to get comfortable with being a alto and it’s hard because people don’t support altos like they do sapranos.
Mariah F# are pure air actually 😂 nice work btw :)
You can't add vibrato to pure air.
Thank you for putting I Been On in the beginning lol
i just love the song too much lol
DAWN should have been in this hands down. COUNTLESS LOWS and great ones at that
mariah carey ..best
Amazing video!!!
FeDsax98 thanks!
PLEASE, do you have the complete video of this Mariah's I Don't Wanna Cry performance???
There are so many Jazmin Sullivan clips singing in her lower register. Interesting that you picked that one.
the best collection!
Rafael Araujo was doing a video on female singers low notes too. Great quality like always Qahn!
ImperfectbutRedeemed thanks!
I'm really looking forward for his series too
See this is why *low notes* don't get as much love it's because a lot of people compare low notes to *Broadway* and when someone inputs it into their *craft* it's almost dismissed because everyone focuses on *high notes* F high notes
My only regret with this video is that I couldn't include Annie Lennox, Grace Jones because they're both contralto and I couldn't find any notes for them. Also Nina Hagen should have appeared more in this kind of video, I'm just too unfamiliar with her 😶
You should check Nina Hagen singing "Fever" live.
There's a lot of crazy low notes.
Qanh Music Don't know about Grace but Annie Lennox has recorded down to a G#2
+finn is that studio? because i would need live vocal.
the lowest i could find is C3 in an "Why" performance 😓
Not sure but what Anita Baker, Michelle Ndegellocello(so), and Tracey Chapman?
PLEASE, do you have the complete video of this Mariah's I Don't Wanna Cry performance??
You do know that Nina Hagen has sung down to a raspy A1 before, yes? Look up her vocal range and click a vid titled The Remarkable Versatility And Vocal Range Of Nina Hagen. She can sing down to D2 with ease and occasionally goes lower.
Saint Rodriguez They aren’t raspy they are fry. Her lowest true chest note is maybe a G2
@@beymariah2188 No D2 is her lowest chest note.
@@beymariah2188 She can hit D2 in chest voice, it just sounds very airy. That's due to her heavy smoking, not because she is some kind of deep Contralto. You can hear how her tone is feminine/womanly sometimes.
@@beymariah2188 she has a sustained f2 on we are the world
Good Most Underrated
Are you a Kimbra fan? I was so happy when I heard Nobody But You in your outro :')
A huge one :D
My love for Kimbra has no boundaries :'')
This is an amazing video😍😍😍
+I don't have a life I'm just a Stan thanks! 😍
Mariah Carey' s voice Is gold
I bet a lot of people didn’t expect to see Mimi
Not really, she has been a legend for 29 years and has a span of 5 octaves and 3 notes. So some expected Mimi to be here :)
Mariah , melhor extensão vocal entre todas as cantoras mostradas no vídeo .
I love your videos so much!
+The Goddess Collection thanks! 😍
ooh colleen
Love Nina Hagen. Woman is insane.
Awesome video! thanks for posting
thanks!
8:12 the Virtuoso enter!
ok but we'all agree that miley has the best lows ever
Ivete 😍💖✨🇧🇷
rachell ferell^^
Hearing these women sing low with confidence, makes me wish I can sing low with confidence.
Back then, I was told that I sound like a man. I do sing from C2, to B flat 4. Singing high, people liked it in high school choir. But singing low, not so much.
SING, GURL
I LOVE NINA HAGEN
Christina Aguilera 5:00 Bb2 😍
Miley's E2 is where??
Mariah❤️
Not too fond of some of the singers, but these voices are awesome. I can hit a B2, so I can relate to this.
Wow, Chante Moore finally made some low notes. She cold have a wide vocal range.
Miley isn’t even trying 🤯
3:43 She hit D3’s instead B2’s.
That's B2 idiot
its fun seeing woman try to sing low. I'm a guy and i can fry a B-1 and my lowest chest is a B1
For me, the best are Nina Simone and Lalah Hathaway. I know nothing about their music but their low notes are so full and rich compared to some of the others.
LaLah alllll DAY
Nina is QUEEN
To me both Beyonce's, Mariah's, and Aretha's low notes sounded the best because they were controlling it rather than roaring in the mic...
Lalah is HELLA underrated
Lalah Hathaway slayyyyyys me!!!! 😭😭😭
Love Rachelle
