2:37 I still don't get it. I watched this in show motion like 7 times and still can't get the timing in my head. This flawless blocking thing is just extremely too hard.
Great content as always. BUT... I feel you start those videos from very high level player perspective. Probably like top 2-3% of players will find this video useful. I think that starting from ABC, explaining things like footsies, frame data, shimmies, conversions would get you more attention and more easy content. Or even such trivial things like character guides with combos and basic strategies in a simple manner. You'd be surprised how many players in demigod/god don't know basics like optimal combos. For example Raiden optimal after stormcell j2-f2-s12-bf3 took me ages to perform because I found no info that you have to delay your j2 a certain amount of time to do it.
no offense, but that kind of thing is a basic fundamental of juggling. If you're in that rank you should know that. You delay a jump attack in a combo like that because a) you get closer to the ground while b) hitting the opponent UP. You're watching a pro level player, you shouldn't be expecting some "MK11 For Dummies" videos. There's plenty of other places for that. You shouldn't be struggling with basics at that rank anyways. Juggling works this way in every fighting game, it's called "gravity". A jump hit always delays the opponent's falling animation, while the hit also makes the opponent pop up slightly. If you're opponent is landing before you can finish it, the rest is common sense. If you want to get good, don't expect everything to be spoon fed to you. Use your brain.
@@WutTheDeuceGaming Oh buddy. MK11 is my first fighting game ever. I played the game for 2 months when started learning Raiden and you tell me "you should know better". Like that's the whole point. There's no access to basic information for beginners, so I had to grind the info in the lab for way too many hours. Get it? "if you want to get good, blablabla", so why you're watching video about flawless block os? Is it somehow OK to teach advanced stuff but basics you have to figure out yourself? Why?
Mr Jazz that’s why the practice mode exist though. If something isn’t working then obviously something is wrong. I don’t mean it in a rude way but pro players of any game don’t usually make content for casual players. Things that are fundamentals aren’t even really things that can be explained since everything is situational and up to you to figure out what to do
@@mrjazz5294 like I said, he's a pro. They're not gonna dive into the basics. If you're at that rank, again, you should have a pretty good grasp of the basics. You obviously aren't a bot, I wasn't saying that you were somehow bad at the game. I mean I did give you a very in depth explanation on how gravity works, so at the end of the day, you got the answer you were searching for. Reddit is another way to go if you're having trouble with things like this. There are plenty of people on the MK sub that will answer any questions you have. I will also tell you that the character you chose isn't played by many people, so info is gonna be a lot more scarce than if you played a popular character. Advanced tech is shared because it's not easily learned or found out. Basic things like this can be learned by simple trial and error. That might annoy you, but that's just how it is.
Try slower. As soon as you get the vibration from your controller, let go of block and press up and 2 together. Up + 2 won't come out if you're holding block still.
Hey! I do actually have training/coaching sessions available. If you're interested, all the info is here! www.patreon.com/dragonfgc. I hope to see you there bro! I'd love to help you out.
