I've been my best friend for many many years and thrive alone in my own company, but learned helplessness means I feel very little hope in my abilities to create a life with interesting content or adventure. So it is not that my internal dialogue is unkind or harsh, not in any way, it is more that it lacks hope and energy, that I am my best support/comforter in my grief that life goes nowhere. But working on it with your courses :)

Pretty much everyone has an unworthiness core i realized, aka most seek external validation, approval, acceptance, etc.

    • @sammelina12
      @sammelina12 ปีที่แล้ว +8

Also doesn’t help that that’s how our society conditions us (seeking external validation, validation from accomplishments, etc and classical conditioning) so it makes sense that it impacts a lot of us

Secure, confident, self-assured people do not have unworthiness wounds. They boldly go for what they want and if they mess up, they learn from their mistakes, show no judgement to themselves and move forward. If you speak in-depth with a secure person for any length of time, you will notice the difference. These people most definitely exist.

I just came here to say that I signed up for your program yesterday!! I am very existed to start this journey on loving and choosing my self 100% I I'm anxious preoccupied.... my life has had some very rough times, just alot of anxiety, stress, cant sleep, overthinks and even panic attacks!! Enough is enough, we spend tons of money on things we don't need, why not spend it on our mental health? 💚

Some people are hard on themselves because they believe they have to cut off any thought, action, or behaviour that will get them to lose love & be abandoned.
Being "easy" on themselves (in their mind) will 'cause them to be "bad" and be abandoned.

This is a beautiful reminder to everyone who's insecure. The painful stories I've told myself for the last 34 years has definitely eroded my self-esteem. At least now, the damage has stopped and my self-esteem can only grow thanks to PDS.

What a great share, I remember first starting the healing journey and struggling because when I journaled my day, I realize how harsh my internal dialogue was, when giving myself compassion and kindness in the beginning felt so foreign and hard but now that is a norm and it truly reflect the external too, I don't and won't be around people that are not kind and compassionate to others or themselves. Always awesome videos thank you thais love you❤

Thanks! I really thought you did a great job explaining this topic and I think it's one of your best videos. I started to cry at the end of point #1 when you said... how would you feel about somebody who speaks to you, the way you speak to yourself. Powerful! You made me feel like I really can become secure and I gladly Super Thank You 1 co-pay.

Edited: oh yeah and honesty aka being authentic!
    😍❤️☺️
"If my subconscious comfort zone is kindness and compassion we will reject opposite" - thank you Thais
However, people did not get harshness and no compassion towards ourselves from ourselves, so what a double pain for people!

Yes! I’m still trying to get the hang of it, because in some areas I’m really good at telling those horrible voices, “I’m only human, the world hasn’t ended, it’s okay to make mistakes etc” but there are others like connections with others that I feel hopeless and will never meet friends and have a family of my own

For me, the hardest part of this is that I don’t usually hear myself saying actual words to put myself down. Like, “oh I’m such an idiot for doing xyz”. I think it usually comes as more of a feeling which is more difficult for me to catch and do differently.

Not from what I've seen. I think the do malicious things because of the negative thoughts they have about themselves then they see other as the same.

    Hi Thias and @thepersonaldevelopmentschool
I am super disappointed. I signed up for a week trial in 2022 and either forgot to cancel or did cancel and have not touched or signed into anything since.
I noticed a $97 charge.on my credit card and contacted you guy because I use to be a student. I'm being refused a refund. Now I'm wondering how long you have been actually charging my account for. This is not okay especially in times where everyone is having financial issues. All you have to do is look at my log in activity and you will see nothing was used. Plus how is it ok to charge me a year later and tie it into a free weekly trial?
