I'm so glad that you enjoyed the poetry, Debs. Michael Morpurgo sounds wonderful! You continue to make great progress on the read what you own challenge!
That Tales from Nowhere book sounds really interesting. I'd probably really enjoy something like that. I've read a couple of similar sounding books before and found them quite enjoyable.
Some great sounding books here. I love The Woman in Black and War Horse so interested in the Susan Hill and the Michael Morpurgo. I'm glad you've had a good week. I started a bit of an unhaul/reorganisation project yesterday, inspired by the bookshelf tag that is going around. May have bitten off more than I can chew...
I haven't read the Morpurgo you mentioned but I have read Private Peaceful and it was stunningly heartbreaking. I definitely want to read his other work. I love Wendell Berry.
Hi Debs! I always enjoy your videos, and I don't always comment...but I wanted you to know that I like being here in this space with you. Wendell Berry is great...I don't own any of his books of poetry but what I've read online I've enjoyed. I'm behind on adding to the conversation in the Piñeiro Project thread on Voxer but hopefully will share thoughts soon. 🫶🏽
Wendell Berry is on my list - one book of essays in my stack - but I keep putting him off. Maybe we could arrange some sort of BookTuber meeting in Equatorial Guinea - it might be lovely.

Looks like a wide ranging selection for sure. I need to try some Wendell Berry sometime.

I'm going by page numbers rather than books I think on the 'read your own challenge , as the first few have been higher than the estimated page count.
