- Hi again! And welcome to this BRAND NEW BUSINESS CLASS flight report! This flight was recorded by my Father and edited by me. Originally the flight report was supposed to be on PK758 AP-BGK But that flight got delayed 3 days and my Father was put onto this flight which was even better! Amazing would love to fly with PIA one day.
PIA was operating flight from Karachi to Kathmandu but stopped in 2011. We would like PIA resume its Flight to Kathmandu again in future. PIA is Good Airlines but unfortunately its business is going in loss.
I agree..Kathmandu flight cancelled my relatives came to meet us on PIA 310 once in kathmandu.
sad to see PIA in loss.
PIA's picked it self up recently, it's been doing very well recently too, lots of destinations are being restarted including Germany, Barcelona and Bangkok. Kathmandu might resume soon too, PIA is truly improving

Its sometimes hard to decide if you want to fly with PIA like in the previous video where the airplane had broke down, but still you could see soon or later the airline PIA will be changing to a good standard. In my opinion I think although that brake down happened, PIA is the only airline you could trust to fly with to Pakistan. By the way you left your dad to take the responsibility to take a video and it came out great I liked it. All of your videos are all the best bro. March is coming and im going Pakistan on the Easter holidays im taking four weeks off and see what's the energy feels like flying with PIA at Leeds and Bradford airport. :D
Wow that's great and yeah PIA is a great airline but if you're flying from Leeds Bradford to Islamabad the aircraft is a A310 And the A310 is a quite shit plane with no IFE's :/ If you want to fly a 777 you can fly from Manchester, Birmingham or London :) I'm also going to Pakistan in the Easter holidays. I'm allowed to take 10 days off school, my school won't mind too much it's only Year 9, I'm flying on Etihad this time though as the tickets were cheaaap!

PIA is an improving airliner. It ha been in the air much longer than most airliners. Its really good for a country who is not wealthy as the west. I love PIA and love their fleets!

Nice video. That problem with AP-BGK turned out to be an Actuator problem and engineers had to go to LHR from KHI to fix it and were also helped by my friend from SV.

Yes I'm going and It's a Pakistan trip. Etihad was the cheapest so we're flying with them, I wanted to fly with PIA :/ It's my first time without PIA in 4 years!

nice trip report! Liked and subbed. It's very unproffesional of the crew on the previous flight, they dealt with the problem so badly. The food doesn't look so good in my opinion. The window shade was very dirty

I think Only Air India is the south asian carier to have 787s and that even 20+ with some even on domestic flights and also a Star alliance member.
And also one in South and central Asia to directly fly to Sydney and Melbourne.
i heard biman would buy some but dunno what happened.
PIA 320s ar all leased n also no 321s or 319s.
and also The destinations they used to operate to Philippines and elsewhere but now its looks outdated ...do they have any plans to start non stops to US..?

PIA Does get new planes, their 777's are new planes, they have also just recently placed an order for 8 or 9 Boeing 787-9's. They dry-leased A320's which doesn't matter because the lease period is for a long time and they have the option to purchase the aircraft if they wish. PIA hasn't got the intention to start direct flights to the USA Because of political reasons however they are increasing flights to the USA via Germany soon and Toronto Canada is currently direct and it's going to become 6x a week in terms of flights soon, London is soon going to have more flights and more destinations are re-starting e.g. Germany, Barcelona, Bangkok and they have intentions to buy A321's too.
Nice to know its improving but also sad that Pakistani folks have no international cariers so they are left with no options but PIA or TUrkish or UAE cariers may be.
whereas I find myself lucky to have many options like we have Direct Air Canada,United,Air India for North America and for EU most of their cariers like Swiss,KLM,Lufthansa,Virgin,British,Finnair,Austrian,Air France even Air India is expanding in EU like they are starting Madrid and already have germany,France,Austria,UK,Italy...and the best part is direct connectivity to Australia which was helpful during World cups and thats what made me Air India fan lol
oh and Also many airlines from africa come to India like air Mauritius,Air Austral,Kenyan,Ethiopian,Egypt air,Seychelles etc.
I hope someday The American,Asian,Eu,African cariers return to Pakistan.
it must to so hard to fly to Maldives from Pakistan as u guys would have to fly to UAE then to MLE...same for Kathmandu,Myanmar etc.
I think regionally Pakistan is the only country where AI doesnt operste else it operates to almost all neighbours Sri Lanka,Afghanistan,Nepal,Maldives,Myanmar,Thailand etc and Bhutan's druk air comes to all metros so i dont think it needs any connectivity.
I think PIA should start Nepal or Sri Lanka soon it would be good for SE pak pax.
Yeah AI should operate to Pakistan it's not fair because PIA Fly to India. Pakistan has got better in terms of airline choices, It's got all the major Middle Eastern carriers, Thai Airways, Malindo Air, Air China, Turkish, And when the new Islamabad International Airport opens next year British Airways wants to return back to Islamabad and also other European Airliners too. PIA Hugely benefits from all this because they haven't got many direct competitors therefore they make a lot of $$$ from this

Hi, there's no reason not to book with PIA, if you are looking for a direct flight this is the best option. Their Aircrafts aren't 'old' as the misinformed Pakistani media claims, they're actually only less than 10-14 years old (the ones they fly to Europe) which for an Aircraft is a very normal age. Although their entertainment systems aren't great or probably wont work, it's best to take a Tablet or any alternative to Entertainment. Overall, food, service etc is up to standard and it's worth booking.

I just flew Etihad today from LHE-AUH-LHR, I'm going to stick with PIA Next time.
Etihad was great and fun, it was a nice experience but it's also really tiring having layovers in the middle east and with PIA I have always had amazing experiences and it's non-stop and not tiring. The Etihad flight reports will be uploaded within the next few months, I'm going to start the editing for EY12 LHR-AUH Soon.

yeah pia should order more 777 more by the way how is the reputation of saheen air I think pakistan should make airlines like air blue or saheen air more professional have you heard of jet airways it has given air india a lot of competition in terms of destinations and services it's probably the oldest private airline of India started it's operation in 1993 it's probably the best private airline of India and flies to most of the middle east destination and even to Paris Amsterdam toronto it has done pretty well in the avation industry of India
