- Hello! Welcome to this Etihad Airways Flight Report! This is the second time I'm uploading a Non-PIA Flight Report on this channel! This flight report was recorded by me. We flew Etihad Airways as they were the cheapest option to go to Pakistan with this time. I wasn't planning to go to Pakistan in April 2014 however a Wedding popped up and we booked tickets to go! I was lucky to go again since I went in August 2013. Anyway here are the details of this flight;
Flight details:

Class: Coral Economy Class
Departure: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
Arrival: Lahore, Pakistan
Date: 31st March 2014 and 1st April 2014
Camera: Pannasonic HVC 210
Departure Time: Scheduled time 22:00PM (Actually Departed at 23:30PM)
Arrival Time: Scheduled time 2:10AM (Actually Arrived at 3:30AM)

to my country in bangladesh, emirates and etihad uses 777, qatar uses a330 ,pia uses a310, flydubai and oman air 737 and lastly, kuwait with their very bad a300, although its fun to go on an old plane

Nice video :) The funny part was in the last part when the flight attendant said " Sir excuse me !! PLEASE !!! Seeet Downn. Aha ha ha. I think she was a Lebanese or somewhere from Europe.Her accent was not Asian. And the Indian flight attendant was informing in Hindi by saying "Deviyon aur sajjano" LOL. The flight landed in Lahore, Pakistan so he should be informing in Urdu by saying "khawateen aur hazrat". haha. But its fine we can understand. But i agree with you flight attendant must never be moody or showing signs of attitude. It will be a bad reputation for the airline if the passengers complain. After all this is Etihad Airways; one of the fastest growing airlines in the world. And SkyTrax rated EY as a 4 star airline. So they should maintain it.

except for the engine layout ... the Airbus a340 looks very similar to Boeing 777
and seat config is mostly 3-4-3 and 3-3-3 in a 777
Why did the passengers get annoyed
I managed to record the flight report :) however my camera got smashed when It fell out from the overhead compartment :( so I lost the footage :( sorry :( just to give you some Info, all four flights were delayed at least 2 hours behind. And even worse, some of the cabin crew were very rude. Anyway, I'm sorry about I lost the footage.
Ahh don't worry :) That's a shame to hear about the 2 hour delays! :O

All that time in the flight and at the end Captain Ali decides to do an announcement, It's a Pakistani flight so Etihad should have Urdu announcements as well.

I used to travel a lot with GF and I found them then to be detoriating..no working IFE, shabby Business class lounge etc...
am1966ath Gulf Air recently upgraded IFE's and seats on their A330's and their A320's/A321's have IFE too. Their Business class lounge in Bahrain is okay from what i've heard
Well the Gulf air lounges is nothing compared to Emirates..and GF was very slow in fixing non-working IFE.have flown many times with them..they weren t up to the standards of neither Emirates nor Qatar airways...

It's a 777-300ER, Qatar Airways also operate 777-300ER's to Lahore so that's why it went there.
I'm flying out to Pakistan in 2 months, travelling with Turkish Airlines.

My main concern is the seat! TK, doesn't have the option to choose the seats apparently I have to check in online 24 hours before my flight.
What!? don't they? Can't you call up TK and reserve your seat from there? Too be honest the most convenient and easiest Online Reservation i've used is PIA's they have an option where you can select your own seat from the map where as sadly other larger carriers I've flown don't have
I did call TK sorted my seats out thank god I had my seat guru website on which helped me a lot. But TK's staff confused me by saying its 737 to ISB whereas I believe its A332. Also I don't find TK staff that friendly as british people their english is weird man. I did the same with Emirates, changing seats and etc. Advantage with TK is they give 40KG allowance.

GazzaOak Lahore used to be called only Lahore International Airport now it's Allama Iqbal International Airport , Karachi is the one whose Airport is called Jinnah International Airport which is named after the founder of Pakistan
