A couple of excited kids in Hornby Magazine polo shirts and fleeces 😂 I can’t wait to see it at Milton Keynes. Joking apart, I don’t remember anything before which has put such a smile on our hobby - brilliant

I think one of the best comments for me from Mr W was that over 100 kids got to have a little go on the layout! 🙂 Keeping the hobby alive 👍

Well done to Pete and the team. What a fantastic model and a brilliant way to raise money for charity.

Visited yesterday. Have seen MT1 & 2 but MT3 sets the bar way higher! The layout and detail is fantastic. I think one of the highlights has to be how they have designed it to be interactive for kids where they can get an electric controller and "drive a train" themselves around the layout - brilliant idea. The look of concentration as they followed it round and the smiles when they received a certificate afterwards was heartwarming.
Spoke to Pete Waterman and his plans for the future with the layouts. Fingers crossed they come to fruition as all I can say is "wow"!

Absolutely brilliant, and expanding the boundaries of model railways. I would love to see model figures on the station and some track workers on the lines. Marvellous that people can run the trains. Wishing every success to all the team.

The attention to detail at such a popular scale, I can see it inspiring a lot of modellers and future modellers.

I remember when this layout was in it's first stage (MT1) and seeing it at the GETS two years ago and I thought it was impressive looking at the time.
Not only did it get expanded once from MT1 to MT2 to include an extended segment of Rugby but now in 2023 an entirely new section focusing slightly down south of the WCML recreating MKC and it looks unbelievable, it captures the entire scene absolutely perfectly and I cannot wait to see this down when I head up down south from London to see this!

so pleased to hear that they'll be combining all three into one layout, doubt I'll ever get to see it unless it lands a permanent home somewhere, but just great to know regardless.
And the boxing day event that let's kids brain their own trains is genius as well

Or passengers on the platforms - and all those 3-D printed bicycle lockers and not a person with a bicycle to be seen. Incredible attention to detail throughout but missing the obvious.

@@highlandersixtysix the RailNuts team don’t use figures on any of their models. It’s the way they do things and it works for them.
