That black gay joke was a solid line! Those girls thought they were being woke, but they got offended by something that actually was woke. Being black AND gay is hard!

Thank you to those three brave young girls for making Nimesh famous right around the globe. Im in South Africa right now, enjoying his comedy, and subscribed to his channel!
I had never heard of him before but after seeing him on Jimmy Fallon's show today and watching this video I subscribed too!! He's funny! Those broads were just being jerks!!! Good for him if this made him famous!!!
Those girls were just that. Girls. Young, not yet mature, completely guided by being popular for all the wrong reasons. No class, integrity or any real understanding of the real world, racism and how to deal with serious topics without closing up shop and denying any real discussion or learning anything for themselves. I love Nimesh even more for how he handled this. Those little girls have plenty to do to grow up and experience the real world and life and I hope they use this awful way they handled this as a turning point to how not to behave or handle things. Nimesh for the WIN!
They saw “Indian” and “SNL” and thought they were getting a mild mannered Hasan Minhaj type. Little did they know they were getting Indian Patrice O’Neal
It literally says in the description that he wrote for Hasan Minaj. This level of sensitivity to what can only be described as quite PROGRESSIVE jokes... Shameful and yet so shameless
Lmao straight silence for the gay black joke which was actually woke in itself, but any joke about white people had this crowd dying of laughter and cheers.
@Ivan Ivan OK Ivan - Im sorry you said this now you have to finish it. What was the joke that your GF's family found so offensive? Im sure it wasnt offensive. If you dont want to repeat it for fear of backlash. You can IM me if you want. Anyway, I know what you mean. Stay safe, brother
They didn't even have the courage to confront him honestly, they were such cowards they lied and he had to coax them into telling the truth, and the jokes were funny, these people are cowards and I spit on them.
It’s not cowardly to end a interaction with minimal confrontation. This is one of the strongest strengths of Asians... (albeit, sometimes the weakness)
@@teabag1680 its cowardice. You can be honest without being confrontational. "Hey I'm sorry but we're cutting it short. We feel really uncomfortable with the material." And that's it. 24:22 The way the girl’s smile disappeared when he asked for a vote and then reappeared when her friend rescued her is really unsettling, showing how her emotions have been fake the entire time.
They’re like capital from the hunger games. Rich, at fancy colleges, close to power, feigning some understanding of the working class, feigning virtue. I really hope they wake up.
If your paying for colleges like this and you actually have an acceptable high IQ to get in, you f’d up because you could be using that money and ur superior thinking to actually start multiple business’s “multiple!”
The internet NEVER forgets! In 5 years, sane and mature people will see who was right, plus who was acting like a snowflake here! Well done Nimesh Patel, continue being great!
That last line tells you everything about how these kids are being taught to see the world. The single thing they saw when they looked at this guy was his race, and how it could benefit them. That's it. When they felt it was no longer a benefit, they cut off his voice and booted him out.
"I just don't think you're entitled to the jokes you're making," she said, presuming entitlement to decide what others can or cannot express including in artform.
I doubt that. I have personally seen these people feel more validated by such outcomes. They have a very strong sense of being in the right and justified. As they would be with their limited knowledge and unwillingness to converse.
@@giantsbane1458 Correct, actually they divide society with their correctness more than any conservatives. This hypocrates don't allow any sort of conversations that's little uncomfortable, but give some perspectives to both sides.
@@Kamal9921 I don't know about that. Conservatives have more power in the country than fringe regressive Liberals. I've only met a handful of this kind of person in my life, but I can walk down the street and see divisive rhetoric on signs in conservative yards. On the one hand you have a unique case of dumb feminists kicking somebody off stage. On the other hand, you have Conservatives ready for all out bloodshed if their candidate loses, because the hyper-Capitalist Democrat would automatically be a Marxist, Socialist, Communist that hates our country, eats babies, and wants to turn the US into Venezuela. You see what I mean?
If you mean the girls, they'll probably end up marrying white lefty "blue pill" beta males, or "blue pill" Asian males who'll go along with their whims.
They remind me of the capital in hunger games, in their fancy clothes and their domination of thought. I really hope they wake up because I know they were tricked into thinking racism is good with some fancy psychology and an establishment curated education.
No. Because these people, the audience, are part of the woke generation. I mean look at what's happening in pop culture, entertainment, and of course politics. These people are becoming more and more snowflakes living into their safe spaces without understanding reality at all.
These are the rich kids who exhibit the most FAKE sainthood by pretending they’re not racist. Obviously they are very much racist, that’s why they wanted him to shut up. 🤢🤮🤢🤮🤢🤮
The offense here is that they couldn't see a confident Indian guy talk like a real American. They wanted to see another 'Apoo' or self loathing comedy like Aziz or Mindy . None of them have balls to talk to Bill Burr like that. It's sublimely racist of them to think they can actually control his content.
Um no. Don't assume people in New York, of all places, are being racist. The issue is that college universities are terrible places for comedy because they get offended by the smallest things. So many comedians have said they've stopped going to universities for that very reason.
@@casey.taylor What are trying to bargain here? "Open minded" more in comparison to other cities with surplus amount of racism which you think is "sufficient enough" for people who face it to not "complain" or in right words criticise. In short,New York can very easily pass with flying marks in the subject of racial equality and non discrimination because the bar of benchmark is so fucking low already.
sounds pretty racist and disrespectful to me, but hey, they are asian, so they CANT be racist right? even though they are accusing an indian man of being just that.
This is the reason comedians won't do Universities. The kids aren't quite as mature as they think they are and expect their ideal of the world to be reality. What he did was push the boundary ever so slightly and their response was to shut it down and run away. Something that's not possible once you leave the protected bubble of University and childhood. Probably good for his career in the long run though, however toe curling the 3 hosts kicking him off stage was. Next time, book a kids storyteller!
I was under the impression that colleges are supposed to expand the minds of students and open them to challenging ideas. Shame this is what it’s come to.
is the college. Some people go there to learn, but some teachers instead of teaching what he was supposed to, they end up filling the students head with ideology and politics. Now every generation gets weaker and people think this is normal because every generation has its own thing...but no, they get weaker and weaker, soon they will be in positions of power and weak people tend to become dictators. They are already trying to destroy history by erasing people just because they killed natives and were slave owners. They don't know the danger that is to destroy history. These people will end up repeating history because they are too blind to learn it.
The way the asian girl raised her eyebrows when Nimesh identified as asian at the end, said: you're not asian like me sweetie...Wonder if it has to do with the fact that she has lighter skin :)
It actually seemed to be more of a immature smirk of 'where is this going?' Heard the joke more eloquently executed by Nimesh, nonetheless, he was booted of disrespectfully, especially by Miss Asian
The fact that he said he wouldn't tell a joke because "I feel like you're all blogging right now" and then he gets pulled from stage, is really telling. He knew what he was in for. Can't tell jokes at universities these days. There's a reason so many comedians are staying away from college campuses.
Yeah, they’re full of a bunch of such entitled pricks that want to be “woke” so bad. Like ffs bro comedies dying and its cuz of these soft mfs that can’t decipher comedy from reality. As he said in his final remarks.
I never leave comments on TH-cam videos but this infuriated me so much that I just had to show my support for you Nimesh. I have no idea how you keep so calm and stayed so level-headed. I would have absolutely lost it! My blood is still boiling!
same. this was a surprise to me, I didn't know the ending before I started watching and I'm still in disbelief. I knew it was a dead lame audience but the ending is truly shocking!! this is how bad it's gotten!
On the joke they objected to... Black people in the US face difficulty because of abuse by people that are racist. Then gay people face difficulty because of abuse by people that are homophobic. It is a rational (and funny, yes) conclusion that no one would choose to face those two forms of abuse combined. I don't see how it is offensive to either black or gay people. The logic is airtight! Are these three girls stating that gay people choose to be gay? Are they denying that either black or gay people face abuse? I don't think they even know what they stand for. Such a sad way to exist.
Someone felt offended for someone else and decided to be a hero and tattle. Can you imagine that conversation. Um yeah, I didn’t like that joke the brown comedian said cuz some people might find it offensive. K thanks. Blowhard.
People who found that joke offensive probably have a hidden disrespect toward different races and sexual orientation. Pointing out a race and the stigmas they are known to struggle against and pointing out how silly it is is why it's dark humor.
It is a sad way to exist. I used to go to college with these types of people and well the mental gymnastics they'd perform to justify their stances was quite disturbing.

A world so woke it fell asleep and while sleeping the freest country in the history of the world fell to communism, civil war and mass murder. Scary but i do agree with you Patricia. Lets hope i am wrong.
You're wrong about this, Yepyep. Many of these students will enter high-paying jobs at companies which think that one of Nimesh's jokes is a career ender. Seriously, think about how ridiculous that is. Nimesh's gay black man joke, at its core, is pushing the truth that being gay is not a choice. Sexuality an integral part of a person's identity. There was nothing disrespectful there. In fact, when I asked three gay men (one black), they found it affirming and amusing. While my personal experience may not represent the wider pool of gay and gay, black men, I think it likely does. These people will be managers in 5-10 years. Just think about what that means for your job.
Hey Nimesh, as a guy who went to Columbia U and graduate in 2015, I'M SO SORRY. My university is infamous for not being fun, being far to PC, and protecting people's feelings over open and honest speech. Liked your bit.
I too went and graduated in 2006 and when I went, as a woman of color- completely out of my norm, the ones that thought they were making change were the ones that were offensive
Bill Burr, who i generally find insufferable, would have torn a strip off them and got a big laugh from the crowd. With weapons we do moderate damage, with jokes you can make a person wish they'd never been born.
No it wasn't. It was very awkward. I don't agree with him being kicked off. I don't think he was disrespectful. But his closing statement about "war with blacks and whites" and having to chose sides as an Asian was inflammatory and attempt to placate. The majority of society is against systemic racism. His statement was a statement that adds to the divide, not unite us as a country. But i don't entirely fault him, if I was rudely interrupted like that, I wouldn't be the smoothest person either.

College is supposed to develop your critical thinking skills and make your thought processes stronger. This is supposed to help you adapt and encourage change in the world. In order to do that you have to hear, not agree with, those are different things. Views other than your own. Think of it this way. If you shut down a dissenting argument you only create further division. But if you can have gentle discourse with someone you disagree with, and even draw them inches to your perspective, then you have shortened the gap and essentially won. You have to be capable of hearing their arguments to do this. If your college is shielding you then quite frankly they are denying you an education and stealing money from you. They should shield you from crimes not thought, that is their duty to protecting adult students.

15:29 The exact moment that the energy of the crowd changed. I could literally feel it just by watching the video. I can't even imagine the impact he would have felt being present there, and being the one towards whom the energy was directed. It shows that he is a seasoned pro. Even though he was indeed affected by it(very evident from his posture going forth), he still powered through. Props to him for that.
He's saying that it's so hard to be black already that no one would choose to be gay on top of that and make life even harder. They're so ready to be triggered they don't realize how stupid they are.
I feel like the crowd heard "being gay can be a choice" because of his pronunciation of "can't" Then they just got but hurt after that
I think RuPaul has spoken something similar about the courageousness of Black-Trans folk. (multiple times more the attention, multiple times more hatred, many more times the pain) I would have imagined a university was a place of critical thinking and uncomfortable truths.
Why do colleges hire comedians, then stop them in the middle of a set? Like they are experts of comedy?
these are 3 HIGHLY ambitious, ivy league woke girls just looking for their chance to put a stamp on something. they're just painfully cringey power nerds.
@@tzazella751 well put. They're trying too hard
@@tzazella751 POWER NERDS lololol
@@tzazella751 Love that power nerds bit, haha. Fucking truth.
They’re experts at killing comedy. That’s why they invite comedians, they’re professional humour murderers
The ending made me cringe so hard.
They were standing with their hands on their hips and that girl had a weird smirk on her face. It felt like a power trip.
Made me realize why my parents keep saying to my teenage self, "You always think you know better". And they kicked him off for being disrespectful by being disrespectful. The world is going to shit.
She had the kind of grin you make when you're looking for approval from your group
When she said "nExT!" I knew she was one of those privileged rich asian brats who thinks they're so smart because they got good grades. They literally have no framework for real life outside of med school. They grew up being segregated from Black people by their parents and now want to exist in these liberal, diverse spaces without even understanding their peers. She definitely doesn't have any Black friends, and especially no gay Black friends. I've met dozens of these girls, they're heavy in the kpop and luxury goods worlds.
the next gen is too comfy
handled it like a KING! can't wait to see you in Toronto one day! please come~
This dint age well for organisers .. this guy is rockstar..👏🏼👏🏼
Agreed. I actually thought that the title was a joke! Those girls had better not visit Australia, they will be offended by our sense of humour every minute they're here. He's hilarious and I'd love to see him tour here. Aussies will love his humour.
thats the problem. they attack the guy with something to lose putting his name on the show, being that they are annonymous "innocent students" and wont face the type of consequences they want to impose on people they want to take down.
This must be a planned setup… no way they would come on stage and do in front of an audience… for this long… not falling for this!
"look I already got paid .... " 😂
That shit cracked me up lmao
What a pro; cash up front bitches
that was great
It's totally on the college for asking him to perform without knowing what his material consisted of. He said edgy stuff, but nothing that was outwardly offensive. He definitely has an appeal to the millennial audience.
That's because they hired him for his race, not for his material.
@@doomguy2.0 yep, true. in the podcast with Joe Rogan, Nimesh told him that the reason why he's on stage is because he is the first indian person to write for SNL.
And he didn't even say anything that edgy, it actually felt pretty toned down for a comedy show.
College didn’t hire him. That’s not how it works
Bro you da man...I been seing your crowd work & bits via algorithm on facebook & insta stories for a while now. I just Realized I saw your JRE Episode back in the day. I re-Listened to JRE Episode #1217 today. I only watched this video all this time later...in 2023. I'll say like so many others. Thank you to those three over-sensitive Girls for not taking a JOKE!
Let’s be honest - what most triggered them was that they couldn’t accept the “VIP” kids feeling uncomfortable with 1on1 stuff...
Prolly cus they so damn uses to talking over the phone not in person
@@kx65andyx85rider boomer moment
I actually think this comment nails it.
What does " 1 on 1 stuff" mean ?
True, too intense for them emotionally. They couldn't hide.
This is what happens when children run the show. He did nothing wrong. I cannot wait to see how they are going to survive when they get into the real world. Rock on, man!
Your boss from work is more then likely to be in that category.
This is the real world Sherlock. Are you hiding from the truth
@@justinmoore3217 no it really isn’t. In the real world we laugh at these fools. We as a company have jus told our fat, ugly hr manager that we will not be taking part in any diversity training as it is a disgusting joke. We also made fun of her new appraisal system by mocking it into oblivion. When I speak to anyone I know they are disgusted by modern gripes and the rainbow crowd. We laugh at you all and will never accept or respect you. Don’t like it? Then come at us and get what’s coming to you ☠️🙃
He actually handled it in a very matured way
too mature tbh. Should have called them out by name so world knows those disrespectful childish pansies.
I always wonder how hard it must be for comedians. They speak some of their minds and put it down. Tying it all together to make the joke but taking the shit the whole time. It takes a strong person to do this. Nimesh, you're a genius with the crowd. Love it
These girls are the ones that demand a sense of humor on their dating profiles. I gaurantee it. "Need a man that can make me laugh" etc. Future cat ladies
Edit: I should clarify since I know above sounds like I'm just bitter... Every girl wants a guy that makes them laugh. Everyone knows that. Putting it in their profiles shows they probably don't have much of a sense of humor.
I guarantee they exclusively date white guys even though they complain about white supremacy
I would rather be an alpha’s side bitch than the queen of a good boy
They just scream future single 40 year olds
A man's sense of humor can vary widely. It's like saying you like cats then freaking out when you get a Bengal tiger. I use it as a litmus test because my sense of humor gets morbid, hence I'm here and I love this guy. If a woman giggles at my Auschwitz jokes she's a keeper ;)
One of the women involved now works for a lesbian rights organization, so you're a little bit off there.
27:15 "We're happy we could present the first person of whatever color to do whatever thing first, BUT we don't condone what they actually think or say. Virtue woke credits for us now, please!?"
-The Token Asian Chick.
It’s genius. How do you get people that are against oppression to oppress people? Tell them it’s anti-oppression! Woah!
😆
Lol fr, Asian American chicks are like the most bland people in the world. Most of them cannot think for themselves it seems. I'm surrounded by them, they're just puppets mostly.
And that’s on kids who have never faced true adversity in their life. I was crying at some of those jokes! Such good stuff💀🔥😂
These three girls are just young and immature. Can’t fault them for being naive to real life. They may be in college but they never graduated real life
Nimesh, you slayed brother - and the amount of restraint you demonstrated was god-level! 🙌 I actually JUST found you last night thanks to a TYT segment where you called out some MAGAt cultists and it was 🤌💋!!
I have been binging your content ever since!! You are a VERY funny dude and you got yourself a new fan!! F those clowns (the tRumpers AS WELL AS the hypersensitive +w@+s that got all butthurt about over some taboo material)!!
So strange they kicked out...but I liked that you left respectful...while they treated you in a different way..by the way greetings from Hamburg/Germany, really like your work
My goal is to reach Nimesh level confidence. Handled it smooth af goddamn son
cause he knows hes not whack. they are lol
I guess roasting hecklers everyday does that to you. But he was incredibly calm and composed!
"There will be a time when whites and blacks will go to war, and Indians will have to choose."
As an Indian, that's one of the funniest punchlines I've heard in a while! xD
Indians will side with the whites bc they're "asian"
Reminds of the time when whites and whites went to war and the Indians had to choose
@@cööm007 Us brown people (Indians, Arabs, most Hispanics, etc.) are definitely in a weird place
It’s right vs wrong. One side believes in individually serving a larger purpose and those around them, while the other side chooses to believe in nothing, a mob of hatred and mass consumption. Both sides are more diverse than you think
Choose, based on the content of their character and not the color of their skin.
Thats why I side with the right. Candace owens, Ben Shapiro, etc..
They join together on an ideology that isn't based on judging peoples rights to opinion to be based on their skin color.
"Not entitled to" like that Asian girl said.. this is racist in and of itself.
Everyone is entitled to an opinion, however wrong it may be
“Do you need a trigger warning?”… silence while they thought about how useful that would be
Representing Indian Americans the right way my man! Some Original bits with no bias towards any culture or race or ethnicity - Keep hustling and doing your thing. New fan here ✊
You should tell that them stupid bitches who sent him off stage 😂
That girls uncomfortable smile tells me she has absolutely no clue wtf she's talking about she just knows she doesn't like it and isn't willing to see it from another angle
I am just finding this now... 3yrs after it happened and it is still hilarious and bring Nimesh new fans!
Very classy bro ! Respect ! The girls were …..😂😂😂😂😂
"I just don't think you're entitled to certain jokes you're making"
This right here is the problem. Freedom of speech also means you have the freedom to be offended but not silence another's right to free speech.
I feel bad for you. Laughed through the whole bit! The build up to your jokes are so good and just keep going!
Surprised no one in the audience stood up for you. We appreciate you here Nimesh.
That ending speech deserved a standing ovation.
And then that girl says "next" - the one who was attempting to educate Nimesh on respect.
Dude was so nice and funny. Watching him slowly realize what he was dealing with over the course of the set was painful. I could see him struggling after jokes weren't landing that were objectively funny. If they can't handle a few edgy jokes, those girls are in for a rude awakening when they get into the real world.
Solid settt and really amazing response to these guys kicking you off. As an Indian American you’re an inspiration to me and who we can be when we stand up for ourselves & others.
Imagine the tantrums they would throw in the real world when they would not be able to cut the mic🤦♂️🤦♂️
I have a Twitter account
I don't have to imagine
@@lockandloadlikehell XDDDD
Imagine? Seems like the U.S is living it
Loved the way Nimesh handled the situation!
The triggered host lady was so ignorant and has no sense of humor.. this is the standard in American colleges these days!
I love the fact the closing statement was another joke lol. Having watched the whole set now, I wonder how many of those in the audience will make it through life. "You can't insulate yourself from how the real world is" summed it up best. In the end, they did the mic drop for him, shows how good he is!
"We don't condone certain messages he's sending" ...yo what messages is he sending.... Have you guys ever listened to a stand up
since when do we rely on columbia students to discern comedy. that;s the real joke.
We don't condone certain messages he's sending, but we condone certain messages he's sending and he should leave.
Exactly my thoughts. What “messages” is he sending?! Jesus Christ!
I know this is old and I am just catching up... But this dude just got a new fan!
