Yo, big ups to fatty Lumpkin for the scratch demo! This dude can cut for real. Unsure if I'm missing something but I don't see tons of thorough scratch demonstrations like this on TH-cam much anymore, again big ups and thanks to Dave and fatty for kickin this type of content out to us 👍 👍. Also, To anyone concerned about the dull Crossfader cut in, I posted my opinion on it at the time as a reply to another comment but I figured I would put this here. As of the latest performer firmware update the Fader curve is now 100% sharp, perfect for Scratching. We're talking magvel Pioneer Crossfader sharp. Seriously, invest in this board, you won't regret it. I'm glad I held onto mine just in case Rane would address the Fator curve and they did. Just remember to make sure you update the firmware to the latest version if it isn't already on the latest version when you receive it.
Yo I can definitely agree here. Just got my Performer and can safely say that the crossfader curve even at the fastest setting is noticeably dull. Note that from what I can gather, not sure why they did this but Rane made the crossfader software controlled, which is what kills the hardware based sharpness that any given scratch dj requires. As a hardcore scratch dj myself, this drives me insane and is verry quickly turning me on to the Rev7. If that Mag4 wasn't software based and had that extra sharpness this would be the Perfect board.

Naw. Rane TTM56 and Vestax PDX 2000s. My needles are a secret. Because djs don't share needles.
😂😂😂😂😂 really
Serato sucks…..out dated software now.
Tru dat
Really ? I think it's the best dj stem software unless there is one better I haven't used yet
@@2freshprint853 stems are good but that’s about it . software doesn’t hold up to dj pro and what that can do.

Serato does have horrible audio settings
