@@serenerepose Not especially. I try to say something nice about a musician I like and people have to give me a hard time and wreck my vibes. Serves me right for leaving a comment and inviting people to crap on me.
Every home should have a copy of Greenhouse in it! Saw him at The Cambridge Folk Festival years back. A staggeringly talented guitar player who described his voice as sounding like 'Goose farts on a muggy day!'
I bet Leo wishes he still was a kid. I know I do! Uh...wish I was a kid...not Leo...then maybe US we ARE kids again! No, really! Woooooo woooooo!! Chugga chugga chugga chugga.
I've given a 'thumbs up' - but for me this version is played too fast. Don't know if there is a standard 'original' version out there - but some other (slower) covers on TH-cam fit best with me
I disagree entirely about the tempo of this version, but I know what you mean amd have experienced that feeling about pieces.l before regarding tempo. But yeah, Fahey has the lovely version a normal human can accomplish. I like that one just as well. : )
The world's most down to earth, yet absolutely genius musician. Underrated is an understatement.
“Underrated” is over used. He’s considered one of the best guitarists in his genre. How is that underrated?
I'm sorry, aside from rating being something the squares do, Leo is known and reknowned. He's legendary, and fully appreciated.
@@serenerepose Nothing is more fun than correcting strangers on the internet over insignificant minutia. Got bored of doing crosswords?
@@halcyonzenith4411 Do you feel better now?

Definitively one of the best guitar players, and though not famous at all. Underrated but simply a genius
This is the best music I have ever heard.
YEEEEEEEEEEHAWWW
Appropriate response ;)
This little piece always makes me happy ) It's better than a pill.
This is the stuff that every one who wanted to be a flat picker dreams about,.... Really good and very orginal style...
Best Fingerpicker Ever ...
..or one of the Greatest ,because there are so much
good to know that Jimi Hendrix also likes leo kottke
He's the best. You don't hear distracting string slide sounds as he changes his left hand position like with most guitarists.
If The Velvet Underground spawned dozens of bands in the 60s, Kottke inspired hundreds of guitarists in the 70s. Any body doubt it? I'm one of them.

I thought every home DID! I guess that depends on who you hang out with.
Was at the same festival. Loved the way the stage vibrated when he hit those bass notes with his voice.
I love reading his liner notes. The guy is a hoot!
Love it! I love Leo. So cool
OH THE MEMORIES! THANKS JEFF!
This is an anti depressant
...sort of. This takes me back 40 years plus. Memory always holds fast, certain people - certain songs, this whole album.💟
Even more so now.
I sent to a friend who's never heard of Leo.
It seems like a good peloton tune, not that I need exercise
Absolutely
Even more so when you learn to play it ❤
Great album!
I wish I could play like this kid. But no. Damn this is good.
Makes me want to get into a high speed chase in a beat up el camino
Makes me want to be in a football game in a watermelon patch in a cartoon.
i love it same criple creek machine nr 2 and wenn shrimps learn to whistel
Fastest fingers in the West!!
Kottke’s best….sounds like three guitars playing….
I agree - this is my personal favorite album of his.
Yes...
And here it is with 3 of the best ever! th-cam.com/video/La-QiWzwgOM/w-d-xo.html
The best in the business
Sliding Delta
My dog dances to this.
❤️
Sounds best at 2x speed
LOL...
haha
Oh god.
I know you’re kidding, but even at 1.25 speed you realize how insanely fast this is in original form. : o
Because a mere 25% faster sounds humanly impossible (and may well be).
May he never switch to decaf! That right hand technique would give you carpal tunnel syndrome in a few days!
