  • When Dr Patricia Tagle-Levy's glioblastoma came back after her first surgery, both she and her husband knew it was time to start looking at alternative treatment options. After extensive research, they discovered the hope they were looking for was actually right in their backyard at the Ivy Brain Tumor Center in Phoenix, Arizona. Hear about Dr. Tagle-Levy's journey as a glioblastoma survivor.

I wish these promo videos would stop being titled as if the patient is being cured. They aren’t, and that needs to be clear.

Today my 52 yr. old son is entering his 13th month of Glioblastoma. Average life expectancy is 15 months. He cannot see out of his left eye, has constant headaches, has trouble walking, is very dizzy and falls down, very tired all the time, sleeps a lot. Clinical trial did not help. I fear the end is near. Very sad situation. A helpless feeling.

I lost my father to glioblastoma recently and those were the exact symptoms he suffered from during his last days. However I truly hope and pray that your son gets better and defeats gbm.

My best friend (age 53) was diagnosed with glioblastoma six months ago and underwent immediate surgery. Just last week he experienced serious symptoms and it was discovered that his tumor has returned...larger and inoperable now...

its not always like this. Its difficult to survive a GMB after 5 years. 5 years are stil a big miracle. Some other cancer have 5 years term, but others like GMB... u must be veeeeeery like to survive more than 5 years

@@micheladerry5681 My law partner was diagnosed with GBM at 46 years of age and survived to 52. My orthopedist was diagnosed at 47 years of age and lived for 7 years. My brother was just diagnosed with grade 4 and is currently undergoing the standard of care treatment. I am hoping and researching trials but do not believe my brother will beat the odds.
