Chicagoland has the best home construction in the country. Strict building codes, and very skilled labor in the area. Lived in NYC, Houston, and SF. For the money, no one builds a better single family home than Chicagoans

The North Shore is not a suburb, it is an area. Kenilworth, Winnetka, Glencoe, Wilmette are suburbs in the North Shore area along with a few others. I use to live there and moved out to Barrington to have some land around my home.

How effective is the padding on the walls in the basketball room? I live in a small apartment and I'm plagued by sounds from my neighbors and I basically can't even have a regular conversation without them being able to listen to it. Is it a viable option in such a case? And is there anything below the grey padding we see?
They range in different types and qualities. Super effective if done right! Although can be pricey. Decent quality is $1,000-2,500 to insulate a room. Although can be 10X that amount for high tech comprehensive soundproofing.

Amazing home, but you’re paying for the view. The home doesn’t have that big of a yard and seems to lack privacy.
The corridors are narrow for this size house, poorly designed
Too close to the public road for such a high prize point.
If you point out the beautiful marble herringbone floor how about you show the floor that you’re standing on. We are here to see the beautiful home. Some to buy, some to get design ideas and some just to admire the beauty of a Chicago lake front home.
One more thing why are you in the middle of every shot. You’re a salesman sell the home nobody is here to see you. Just do a voice over on your next home.

So?? Do you consider Fort Lauderdale to be Miami's north shore?? You leave Chicago and travel to a completely different town and then democratically insert a title that makes no sense and doesn't correlate in any way except that the house is in the same state as Chicago.
This was built by Heritage Homes. Terrible builder. So many plaints. Really bad reputation in the NorthShore.

Nice enough house, but it seems a little cookie cutter. There's nothing wrong with cookie cutter designs, they sell, or they wouldn't be so prevalent. Nice tour.

@@andreisavtchenko I know. I grew up in Lake Forest Nobody from the North Shore would tell you they have a mansion in Chicago the way you just packaged it. A lakefront mansion in Chicago doesn't exist.
@@sandiegopizzaeater7174 It does, on top of one of the buildings at Lake Shore Drive just north of downtown. Top 3 floors with a yard, with lawn and fountain with unobstructed view of Lake Michigan. No private beach though :).

@@andreisavtchenko the house is dated and nobody is going to drop 10 million on a house to live in one of the most corrupt and crime infested states in the country. The house can easily be sold to one of the many Mexican drug traffickers that launder their money in and around Chicago.
