Imagine a Spathinae Nanocyte, a humanoid made of a condensed swarm of insects and each of those insects are made of a swarm of nanobots. It's a swarm made of a swarm. Swarmception.
I am so happy I found this channel. I made the choice of GMing Starfinder at my local store and the information from these videos have made things SO much easier to understand.
This is probably the best introduction to Starfinder's classes that I've come across! Simple, quick, and you give each one a great pitch. I'm absolutely gonna be sharing this around any time I'm starting up a new Starfinder game.
Hi Nathaniel, I am glad to have discovered your channel. Primarily I am happy about the amount of content about Starfinder which I discovered only last year. It was and is so poorly advertised in Germany and I think that's a real shame. I think it's actually one of the most possibility rich sci-fantasy/fi roleplaying games I've seen so far. Please add more content if you can and continue to enjoy the game.
Great introduction to Starfinder classes, thank you! I've been interested in Starfinder ever since it came out, and just finally decided to check it out (the 2 core books arrive tomorrow!). Can't wait to dive in! 🙂
My first class was Technomancer. It was a very fun class to play. Tho my favorite overall class is probably the Nanocyte. Huge fan of how versatile it is.
Thank you, this was what I wanted right now. Think I want to go interesting and with play Solarian, Whichwarper or the nano one. (Ok have not got it down to one yet...)
Vesk Soldier. Start him as a grunt, eventually level him up to Head of the Green Army, Hero of the Veskarium. Have him walk into a room, toss his cape, and straighten his immaculate dress uniform covered in a mountain of medals. Clink clink. Hunt the Unseen. Defend the Veskarium from the Swarm.
I actually just played my first game of star finder on Wednesday ironically it was my first table top rpg I’ve ever played 😂 (didn’t know anyone who played tabletop rpgs and it was the only group accepting new players that played on my day off
Mechanic is the most complex class? Good to know the only two times I've played Starfinder I've been playing on hardmode. Next time I'm playing a solarian. Just cause I love the concept that in combat you become a being of pure stellar energy.
I forgot about the Nanocyte and Precog! I've been lost in Pathfinder 2E the last few months! Well, that and continually getting excited about D&D 5E stuff only to have my excitement crushed by tiny books with basically zero content and/or lackluster mechanics because... well, let's just leave it at being disappointed!
I look forward to the coming months when Evolutionist comes out for you to explain it. I like all these class explanation vids since I'm like SF beginner
time to play a Vanguard and name him Suckerpunch, someone asks why and I'll say you'll find out, and when an enemy hits me, I say "There's the sucker!" and then on my turn "AND THERE'S THE PUNCH"
Is there a list of which books classes come out of? I'm having a hard time finding a centralized source material for collections e.g. grouping of the alien archives, grouping of classes. For reference 5e..tools (broke the link) is amazing to find out the source for material as well as the opposite. Any tips would be appreciated, this video is great though and I have shared it with multiple people.
I freaking love Solarian so much. I've only gotten to play Starfinder for a very short time (pretty much a single one-shot), but my character was an android Solarian (using the variant android that gets +2 Cha) named 50N-@4 (pronounced Sonata). She had a Mega Man-style buster as her Solar Flare and was really good at dashing and jumping around, genuinely super fun to play even at early levels (or at least at level 4).
Is it just me, or is the Armored Solarian the Red Headed Stepchild of the Solarian class (doesn't seem to have anywhere near as many options, including not having 'Armor Crystals' to give armor special abilities)?
Solarians have really cool combos you can pull out and they don't always need to be attuned to one attunement to use other attunement's abilities. The abilities usually state, if attuned or fully attuned, you get an added bonus of sorts. The newer Lunar and Electrical Solarians are looking really fun to play too.
Its a new feature but I didn't realize it showed that for comments, i thought it was more for streams. You can always join the discord and see if anyone is looking for more players.
@@TheMapleTable I feel ya . We actually just started playing last week. Though I think I'm over my head with an 8 person table and running the dead suns adventure path

Nanocyte give me big Senator Armstrong vibes, NANOMACHINES SON!
Love the concept of a Witchwarper, (especially Infinite Lash) but their prominent abilities don't line up well with skills and saves.
Thank you, this was what I wanted right now.

Thanks!

I think they fixed this with a few of the newer books
Yep, it's not great. Still pretty good for a ranged solarian build.
Flare is pretty cool and might be the only viable option for my Raxilite Solarian.
I'm gonna play The Pyro. Lol.

Pepperidge farm remembers.
