I love that Brian has caught the armwrestling bug! If brian gets the right trainer hes gonna be ridiculous in a year or 2. People need to just shut up with the stupid levan expectations. However, i do 100% believe brian could very likely be a world class elite in around a year and a half or 2.
Yeah, I think putting pressure on him to beat Levan is just detrimental. I'd love him to pull Levan but even if he never pulled him, I'd like to see what he can bring into the sport. Also, Devon promised to train with Brian this year.
Is the levan stuff really that extreme of an argument though? The raw strength of Bryan is something that very few people in history have ever been able to match and in some areas he’s the strongest ever. He’s very smart and talented in many areas so I don’t think it’s a stretch if he really puts his mind to it to maybe be levans hardest opponent he’s ever faced in 1.5 to 2 years.

Nobody in this day and age of giants whove trained armwrestling there entire lives like levan, ermes, alex to name a few have ever just came to the sport in there late 30s and beat the best in the sport. The reasons are many but 1 is that tendons and ligaments which are the most important areas to strengthen, take years to develop. Muscular strength is great but without the tendons and ligaments being on par. Injuries happen and you simply cant avoid relying on your frame etc.
@@mikimiyazaki I’m not trying to be a Bryan fanboy or anything but strongman is probably one of the best things to come from as far as tendon and ligament and bone strength, the transition might not take as long as it would seem for 99.9% of people. I’m not saying he will ever beat levan but I would bet in two years of very serious training he could give levan a match that he hasn’t ever had since becoming dominant. Look at Leonidas doing what he did, he’s nowhere near the strength or overall level of Bryan and beat someone who has very very good technique and tons of table time in his lifetime. In a way it’s like saying you took the top freak athletes from say the NFL and they transitioned into something like beach volleyball. They would suck right away (comparatively) but because the sheer massive talent pool difference they’d eventually take over because of the insane speed, verticals, change of direction, height, mental fortitude to do whatever it takes.. Most sports don’t have the pool of crazy athletes to choose from because of financial reason so subpar athletes do better in those sports. I guess the point I’m getting at is there are levels of athleticism so far above the norm that they could be elite in almost any athletic event that shares resemblances. Bryan is in that top tier, levan is possibly in it as well and that why I don’t think he’d necessarily win. But give him a hell of a matchup
Yeah for real if Bryan stopped hangin out with shaub and started hangin with shaw he'd be the strongest and most elite arm wrestler of all time... he probably already is

Music is a little too loud. Try to mix it so that it's quieter than the normal audio, or lift the volume of the normal audio. Either works.

Are you serious? You think Brian Shaw was going to break his left arm? Do you realize how much force it would take to break Brian’s arm? He is not a normal guy coming into arm wrestling. Strongman builds a lot of tendon strength and bone density plus the guy he was going against was so much weaker there is no way he would generate enough force.
He was in what would be considered an arm break position for new guys I agree but he was in no danger here in this particular circumstance however before he pull stronger opponents he would be wise to learn not to get into those positions.

He will do well, but it will take a bit of time to reach the top. He needs to strengthen those tendons which takes a bit of time to get good at
@@Papaspronatorthe stronger you are honestly the more likely you are to break in those positions. Most people don’t because they don’t put enough torque through it
@@marLamaDeo yes I agree 100 that the stronger you are as a new comer the more likely you are to get injured but your opponent also has to be strong in order to creat that force where as this guy clearly was not. Also that is also typically in reference to bodybuilders not strongmen who have abnormally conditioned ligaments and bones already from doing the versatile training they do it’s not your average gym bodybuilder who has a lot of muscle but not a lot of structural integrity.

Brian's Armwrestling strength is insane for being a non-Armwrestler.
He is too strong to properly learn from regular Armwrestlers because he can use any form he want's to win, but this is also good for him to meet other Armwrestlers to see how wonderful of a community it is and to also gain some confidence on the table ❤🙏

Looks awesome. Someone needs to teach Brian to top roll using back pressure and pronation instead of a side pressure / press movement. Much more efficient and effective, and especially being new, much lower chance of injury due to excessive torque through the elbow joint.

Brian definitely needs this week with Devon coming up soon. He has no idea what to actually do on the go. He was kinda stuck in no man’s land between a press and top roll and finally went for the press. I’m excited to see him progress though.

I'm not sure how long these guys have been pulling, but not long enough to know that Brian was toying with them so I wouldn't call them super experienced armwrestlers.

None of the people in this video are armwrestlers. I could tell immediately by the way he stands on the table. The other guy calling him "an armwrestler" is probably a sarcastic joke , that is the only way I can explain that line

I want to see a video of Brian in his relative beginner Armwrestler state, go all out against an elite Armwrestler. Not because i think he can win, but because I want to hear their thoughts on how strong Brians starting point is. I have a feeling Brian could walk into some amatuer tournaments and start wrecking people with very little training.
