Both kits sound good Jeff even on phone audio!!! Would be cool though with a side by side miced up comparison but not sure that it would be worth the work to do that. Now all you need is a white kit so you can have a patriotic kit!!! lol... Thanks for sharing.
Hey brother! Funny you mention that - check out my video from today. And I've got a 2003 white marine pearl MSX kit that's kinda faded into the tobacco look but I may be able to put one of the white toms up one day :)
these settings were basically the same as what i'd done in my tunebot review video from 16 or 17. The only thing I've done recently is the video where I did the high/med/low settings. Medium being my regular ones
Man, listening through my in ears the phone sounds much better than expected. I’m surprised to say that I like blues floors better and reds racks better
Absolutely GORGEOUS kits! Sonically and aesthetically!
Thanx man!
Great walk through and comparison Jeff. Lovely kits both of them. That red kit has been my favorite since I saw it. Keep it up.
Thanx brother! You might dig the comparison that I just put up today - toms are side by side
Both sound and look beautiful! Can’t go wrong with either kit in any music setting.
I'm loving both of them, so fun

@@JeffWald That would be interesting to see/hear.
Beautiful drums Jeff!
Thanx my brother!!
I still love the red one. The red is a little warmer. I’m a mahogany fan 😝
I just played it a minute ago - its actually on the floor right now - I swapped them out. It sounds great - no mics, just hearing them in the room
Both sound great but i love your red kit best😊
Thanx brother! its set up on the floor right now
Both are great but I like the sound of the red kit more.
Thanx Ivan!
What tunebot settings do you use?

What finish is the red kit?
Its one that I came up with called Red Bubinga Burst. I've seen they used it on at least one other kit after mine
Man, listening through my in ears the phone sounds much better than expected. I’m surprised to say that I like blues floors better and reds racks better
Right on, thanx for the input Josh!
Green kit next?
haha, nah... blue had just been an idea b/c of the Mustang. I love green but red & blue are my favs so I'm good
The sound by you phone is good.the drums amazing.lovet
Thanx man!
which video mixer do you use?
I use the ATEM mini pro ISO to record the Go Pro 7s and I use DaVinci Resolve 17 to edit
Both amazing I'm partial to the red kit it sounds a bit punchier
thanx for the input brother!
I like the red kit better. Sounds a lot like my Yamaha.
Recording custom? I'm still in love w/ both of these :)
@@JeffWald I have a new stage custom which is birch and the old one is mahogany with one layer of birch. I like the old one better, lol!
@@analogkid4557 Sometimes the older are better! I'd love to (but don't need it) have an 80s RC. Get my Gadd & Weckl on! ha
@@JeffWald hell yeah!
Jeff if you ever want to sell that red kit, I'm very interested! Pm me
Ha, thanx but no. I have no reason to sell it and plus my son is excited to inherit it and the others when I croak one day :D
@@JeffWald gorgeous kit Jeff!
They sound the same to me both beautiful the red one might be a touch deeper with a lower fundamental note
