Like the upgrade. Question is, how would you like to run the oven off batteries?
Option 1: add more battery power.
Option 2: add another inverter with one or two batteries for the kitchen area.
With option 2 you could have the batteries charge at low priority from your main ones.

Hi Aaron! An extra battery bank and inverter dedicated to the oven/kitchen just for the off chance that we don't have shore power isn't a wise financial choice. However We are due for battery replacement this year so an upgrade to larger and lithium probably makes sense!

We have been using a Induction Cooktop on top of the stove and convection oven. We are just going to take out the gas unit. We do cook outside most of the time on propane. after seeing this video, it is the next project.

Thanks for the informative video!! I’m doing an rv remodel and was wondering how to safely remove the stove and cap off the propane line.

Did you attach the vinyl to the plywood edge-to-edge before attaching yo the metal overhang lip, then caulk? So some of the vinyl flooring is under the metal? What size screws did you use? This is a great retrofit as many have gone to inductipn and air fryer cooking.

Hi Maureen! Yes the vinyl is edge to edge on the plywood so it does go under the metal. I think I used 1 1/4 screws (Kreg screws by the way 😄 ) because there was already a 3/4 cleat attached to the metal. The old range had Screws into the side of the cleat whereas mine are vertical.

Did yoy make the video were you disconnected the propane for the fridge too? (The video is 1 years old so thats why I'm asking)

Not yet, but it's kind of similar. The main difference is that the fridge has a panel on the outside of the rv that must be removed to get to its propane connection.
