Replacing RV Microwave with $98 Walmart Air Fryer/Convection Microwave.

This video shows the steps I took to replace our RV microwave with a $98 microwave/air fryer/convection oven that we picked up at our local Walmart. I also tested the amperage draw and heat output to help determine how to protect the cabinet and vent the microwave.

I've watched several videos where folks are replacing a standard RV microwave with this oven. Yours is the first one where the increased heat output has been considered/addresses. Thnak you.

Hi, and gosh thank you for a great video. I am replacing my HighPoint RV Microwave with the $98 Walmart Air Fryer/Convection Microwave this weekend and I was very concerned over the enclosed cabinet area with the heat emanating from the new unit. You lining all the walls with the Frost King Duct Insulation was an awesome idea. I loved how you improvised the "Trim" so you could use it and how you improvised the "upper duct" so to move the heat from the left side up and protect the left side wall. Now I feel a lot more at ease with putting this new unit in. Thanks so very much!!!

@@noneenow so far so good. Only used it a few times but heat seemed to dissipate well.
