- In this video, I show you how to schedule your Mac to shutdown in Mac OS Ventura.
Apple did away with the schedule feature in setting in Ventura, so I'm going to show you a quick workaround using Mac Terminal.
Never used Terminal? Well, here's your introduction.

Thanks for the video! This is crazy :/ I've scheduled a daily shut down last year via system settings when it was easy and handy. Lately the shut down time became rather inconvenient, so I wanted to undo it. Then I discovered the shceduling section IS MISSING! At the same time, the stupid setting still works. I hate it so much

@@diyfwmb Same thing happened to me and I thought something was wrong with my office iMac after I upgraded to Ventura. I had forgotten that it was set to shutdown daily and there was no easy way to check the shutdown schedule until I came across this video. That's some terrible OS programing to not reset previous shutdown schedules if they're going to take the feature away.

I did this and I see that there are 3 wakes I never set.
Yeah, reading through threads when I was making this video, people were saying the same thing. No one seems to know why (or, at least they didn't at the time I was making this).

Apple absolutely dropped the ball. My iMac was set for daily auto shutdown from previous OS and after upgrading to Ventura the sleep schedule remained without an easy way to undo it! Be warned!
