    The utilisation and versatility of this canopy system is by far the best i’ve ever seen. The attention to detail is next to none. These guys have blown the market wide open, no where can compare to the quality of core off road. Win.

    Probably one of the best camper tops I've seen from AU but there is room for improvement. Adding a rack instead of stacking for your dishes would be helpful. This is a off road build and not a static kitchen cupboard and adding a flip down Tele would be nice. Last but not least, where is your spare tire carrier. Great work from the Aussies.

      Throw the spare on the roof over the driver. Where it should be anyways like all professional expedition vehicles the kitchen stuff is negligible but good advice. I live in Canada. It would be nice to see awnings with drop down but nets

    What is the remaining payload on this vehicle after these mods.The best set up I have seen

    • @CoreOffRoad
      @CoreOffRoad  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks Graham, after a GVM upgrade and the canopy fitted vehicles needs to have a minimum of 680kg of payload to get registered in WA. This does vary from state to state. Jimmy goes into more detail about payloads in this video on a D-Max build where we ended up with over a 1000kg in payload - th-cam.com/video/KUVTiii3aAg/w-d-xo.htmlsi=TbRWzbQRSJWhugi1

    Unreal build nice work. One suggestion move the fire extinguisher, you don’t wanna be reaching under the kitchen of the kitchen caught fire to get to your extinguisher. Try to mount in the least likely area to ignite.

    Throw a mirror in on the sink with storage for small toiletries to brush teeth etc and a powerpoint nearby for electric toothbrushes, clippers or hair dryer etc. Would be a great addition! 👍🏽

    • @igshaanwoods9159
      @igshaanwoods9159 ปีที่แล้ว

      And update the led strip lights to the new dotless version! Would look nicer than the dotted led lighting! And add an optional dog box on the storage side, and induction cook top in the trundle tray with an open/close zipper just abovd in the awning to allow for cooking fumes to escape up and out into the opening!

      Would put a mirror on the back of the sink board/chopping board and a mounting bracket on the slide out kitchen unit just to the top left of the tap to store and hold the board/use as a mirror when washing dishes or brushing teeth/washing face etc.

    If I had the money laying around (and if you could ship me one to South Africa :P) I would be in queue to buy one of these yesterday. Hopefully one day I'll be able to save up enough to buy myself a wildtrack ranger and kit it out like this for touring Africa, especially with the new ranger 2022 model featuring a V6 diesel - an absolute dream rig - you can keep your Toyota's, thank you very much. The owner of this beauty is one lucky fella and I'm jealous as hell. Brilliantly thought out and professionally put together, great workmanship.

    Hi. I agree with you about the upright fridge. My only question is what does it look like inside with all of the contents after going down a corrugated road or rolling 4x4 track? Thanks

    • @CoreOffRoad
      @CoreOffRoad  3 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Hi Matthew, ah yes, corrugations, don't we love them! As with anything, be it upright fridge, portable fridge, draws, shelves or anything in your 4WD or canopy, how well you pack it will depend on how it survives after a day of corrugations. We've had two long-life cardboard milk containers rub against each other in a portable fridge on corrugations for a day and the inside of the fridge look like a cow exploded! We put the milk in zip lock bags now. Here's a good tip for your beers, after a day of corrugations, the cans rubbing against each other get coated in aluminium dust and it makes your hands black when you pull them out. Just grab the top of your can with your finger tips and drop it straight into a stubby cooler! Your hands won't be black and your misses won't know you've snuck in a couple of quiet ones! Stay safe and happy travels.

    If i had the money , if i had a driving license (i'm taking driving lesses) , if you maked one for the future ineos grenadier with a 500mm/600mm exstention (on the pre production test versions the wheelbase is small) , if its legal in the netherlands (i think its legal but E ceritifed lights etc) then would be perfect option as a camera truck for a future camera operator

    A lot of thought has gone into the fine details. I like it. Apart from the actual form factor. Id like to have not a seperate roof top tent but the type that lifts up to make all the back a kind of mini sleeping/storage area and the sides and pull out drawers that you showed here that would be compaitible with that kind of setup.. Very practical setup and solutions from what i saw though. I like the way you think and solve problems. maybe you do have more of a slide on camper poptop model? i havnt looked yet but will. if not I hope you make one. Good luck anyway..
