- It's phase #2 of the Tamiya TT-02 Rally v.s. Kyosho Fazer Mk2 Rally and in this video, @MarkBryanRC and I will be taking it to the streets in a 15 metre long slalom course. Who will reign supreme???
To date, we are tied for a top speed, so this challenge will ultimately put one chassis ahead of the other. Who are you cheering for? (Team Kyosho, of course!) :)

Yeah dude, I still find it unreal that we both hit a 9.10, that's crazy! Not gonna lie, I really thought the Mk2 would have dominated here. So I stand before you all humbled, and ready for the next challenge! This has been a ton of fun, can't wait for the next round!
You guys need to do the same test on dirt, and they'll probably trade places!

Very cool stage you guys! I found with the stock motor, tires and gearing, the Fazer slides out nice on pavement once you get used to how the car handles. Congrats to team Tamiya on this one! 🎉..Off-road though, you're going down Mark! 😁

I honestly thought the Fazer would spank the TT02 in this contest. I got cocky, didn't adjust my ride height at all, and just went for it. Man oh man, was I wrong!

Personally, I won't own or drive anything younger than 20 years old, modern cars are so bland, over reliant on complicated electronics and so damn fugly!!!
I currently drive a couple of vintage e36 beemas..... delightful!!

Just working on mine as we speak as it goes!
Had to burn off the fused together rear prop cup and replace it with an alloy upgrade,and replace the prop shaft and prop cup bearings .
To make things worse a few of the bloody hex screws stripped and I had to drill them out to get it all apart.
I've replaced them all with stainless Philips screws instead which I prefer!
All put back together now..... It's now 1.30 am and I need to take it out for a test run, this is not guna go down well with my neighbours! 🤭😬

Nice run Fil and sometimes slow is fast but it is very hard not to mash the gas to try and go faster!! Close overall from the first rounds!
I know, hey? There's this instinct to hammer the gas, but slower was indeed much faster.
I am hosting a race this coming weekend with a whole bunch of Kyosho and Tamiya, I am going to try this challenge

Snap, indeed Mauzy! Haha! We're running stock rally tires. Mark's got Tamiya rally blocks and I'm running my stock Kyosho tires. Track is 15 meters long with cones every 3 meters. 👊🏼
I want to see them eat some dirt, can't wait. I am brainstorming on how to add some mudflaps. A couple of Rally chassis covers and other bits are due to arrive tomorrow, so I'll be wrenching. 👍🏼

Hey Phil, are you going to get yourself a TT02 to see what they are like, you won't regret it.
I've got 4 of them now! Haha. 1 I used in the speed run challenge. Then the Lancia Delta Integrale Rally, and a couple TT-02B's (Dual Ridge and ??? Something else... lol!)
I do really enjoy the TT-02, it's fun, inexpensive, they're a great platform. This Kyosho Fazer Mk2 is here to try and see who the master of the "versatile 4WD platform" is! 😉😁👊🏼
I have 6 TT02's - 2 x TT02, 1 x TT02 D + 3 x TT02 TYPE S.
You shpuld a Red Green build using duct tape that guy was classic enjoyed wdtching him when I was younger the show was popular in Australia.
