I've said it before and I'll say it again: Connecting Season 8 with the Life series is the best idea I've seen for these as of yet.

I loved this too much. THE WAY IT ENDS LIKE TIGHTROPE DID | can't tell you how many hours that has been left on loop for since I discovered it | AND THE FADING TIE AND EYES WHEN HE'S DYING AND THE WAY THAT GRIAN'S GLOWING RED BECAUSE OF THE NECKLACE, A DEtAIL THAT WASN'T EVEN NECESSARY CAUSE YOU CAN'T SEE THE NECKLACE BUT IT MAKES IT ALL THE MORE AMAZING SDZXRYTGCF HVNB THIS IS TOO GOOD FOR MY EYES AMAZING WORK

With them dying in Last Life and ending up at the end of Hermitcraft I’d like to see it with some of the others. Tango’s rage at BDub’s after him accidentally exploding himself fading into just hoping that his friend is okay back down on earth. Or even all the Boatem crew. Grian remembering his team up with Impulse to bring in the Wither. Or just those two and Mumbo Aha-ing. Watching Scar do wonderfully stupid things. Or all their reactions after just being against Pearl to ending up hand in hand with her at the end of the world.
Every animation and animatic I see about Last Life makes me love the series more and more. Can't wait to see what people do with Double Life and everything that's gone down (especially with the irony between Grian and Scar) and this one was really good.

I love how it’s kinda like Mumbo’s side of “Tightrope” with that little clip of Grian pulling Mumbo in with his wing… so adorable!!!! It pulls at my heartstrings!!!

omg cactuu that was..just absolutely amazing. brought tears to my eyes and like the pain you feel watching it is so /pos!
i absolutely love the tiredness in his face before he passes at the start. just him trying to find something to focus on and proceeding to give up. its just so..heartbreaking i guess!
and then the happy memories with grian and just the pure joy until grian is red life! that happiness stripped from him and the worry and concern when he stares at his manic best friend was portrayed well! i abolsutely love the facial expressions through out this!
and the realisation on mumbo’s face when he was the boogey man and the eyes changing to purple was just absolutely perfect.
the end aswell just broke me! the red fading to grey was such a sweet detail that makes so much sense! but it was a perfect idea. all of this was fantastic. the waking up in the void and having it linked to s8 was a nice note to the end :D
but overall i absolutely loved this cactuu! it was so well done and the animation was well done! scratches the right psrt of the brain. thank you for this amazing work! you really outdid yourself :D

Love the animation. I love the transition with the tie and eyes fading to gray, before cutting to black and reappearing in hermitcraft season 8’s ending. I think that was a really cool way to show the passage of life, and the transition from 1 life to the next.

just the thought or idea or even theory of the life series being but a dream in the endless and vast space that Boatem are stuck in is amazing. something that I might add is, since impulse isn't in the life series, what if impulse wanted to get the rest of them out but thought that they had all "died" so he left before the void had taken capture of his mind like it did there's. so impulse had escaped the void after the moon had crashed while the rest of them (Grian, Mumbo, Scar, and Pearl) are in a state of sleep where only losing their 3 lives in the dream allows them to wake again. they don't know how to get out so they end up falling back asleep. Mumbo might be the only other who knows (or Grian) but they choose not to leave as to not leave the others. Maybe Mumbo was the only one who saw a twitch of life in someone which made him stay. Maybe...
