THIS IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING
And the symbolism of “Who lives, who dies, who tells your story,” being Tommy, Tubbo, and Niki??? It’s absolutely PERFECT and fits their characters amazingly
Tommy is “who lives.” This is because Tommy is the one who lived through the entire war, and had to experience everything. He’s the main character, he had to live through all of the events. And not only that, but Tommy is now the one who “lives” because he is now basically the only member of the original revolution that hasn’t been killed, or hasn’t turned over to the evil side. He’s still fighting for good, and being alive, and experiencing everything. He’s the one who is going to drive the story, he’s the one who is going to keep on living.
Tubbo is “who dies.” Tubbo was the price of the war, the price of the revolution. He’s a victim. Because of the war, and the spying, and the plot to take back L’Manburg, Tubbo ended up being executed and dying for the cause of the revolution. And also, the version of Tubbo that was relatively peaceful and was content spying for L’Manburg while not causing any major fights is now dead. Now, Tubbo must join Pogtopia officially, and be part of the active revolution. In both ways, Tubbo is the one “who dies.”
And Niki...Niki is “who tells your story.” Niki had to live in Manburg throughout the reign of JSchlatt. She had to witness all of the atrocities that he commit, and experience all of the horrors that came with living in Manburg. She collected this information, and documented the story of her life in Manburg. And, Niki was also the one who sent the letter to Phil documenting the horrible truth behind life in Manburg. She was the one who told its story, and she was the one who was able to send this story and this information out to the world, in search for help. And Niki will always be the one who is able to tell the story of what happened in Manburg from a civilian’s perspective. Niki is “who tells your story.”

kinda late since youtube decided to recommend this to me days later. first of all, you NAILED IT! everything from fitting and editing each of the songs, to the fitting characte choices. its absolutely perfect! second of all, THE MASHUP! i was honestly wondering why anyone hasnt made an animatic with this song yet, since its pretty much a good recap of the whole thing. watching this, honestly its so good! i adore the art style! very well made!

One fact about the art (whether intentionally or not) is after Wilbur and Tommy got banished, Wilbur lost the shine, the spark in his eyes. Tommy kept it just like he kept his hope and his sanity (unlike Wilbur). Intended or not it was very clever and it adds so much more pain and emotion to this animatic. Wonderful job 👍
