Best thing I've found to just simply catch fish on a post spawn day, the first prefrontal storm after a week of constant 80° weather. Big and small, all bass get out for that first big cool down storm. Caught almost 50 today in 3 hours.
I've been hittin em hard in southeast Virginia catching 3 lbs and bigger its been the best spring I've had in years You're just like me early morning because I have dinner with the warden (wife) in the evening lol but I do catch the last hour before dark because I have a spot less than a mile from my house I fish from the bank Great info thanks Tyler
@@TylersReelFishing yessir! Im moving out to dripping springs this winter, have you ever fished out there? It seems like there’s only a few creeks to fish
I live in the northeast. Had the chance to fish Florida, lake toho a week ago and what a difference. The water felt like bath water already and fish were so active. Caught a bunch, biggest was a 5.5lber. Get back up here in the northeast and it’s a struggle at the moment. I’m finding fish but only 3-5 in a two hour session. The lake I fish is interesting because it has crappie, blue gill, carp, some shad and largemouth.
Love the content! However I live in Iowa and I can tell you it gets way warmer than you think here😂 So y’all, gettin up early definitely still applies to some places up north!
Sunset in the Fall I was in a cove area coming from a lake and shad and bass were jumping out of the water everywhere! Sunset is also a good time for me Atleast
up north we do have bait fish lol. tons of 2"-3.5" shiners that the bass go crazy for but they do there thing early spring in shallow creeks that feed into lakes and rivers. also have smelt and some shad but we don't get to experience the shad spawn.
That's why when I plan a early ass fishing trip with my buddy we rig up n load all our stuff the day before that way we meet up n get on the road to get to the water asap
Hey Tyler I have a question. I was watching your tackle unboxing video from two years ago. I saw that you were getting everything in packs of 3 or 6, and was wondering if I have to change the quantity from 1 to 3 or 6 or if I leave it at 1. Also when you order from Strike Kings website does it come from the factory or do I go somewhere else to order from the factory.
The strike king website orders just like tackle warehouse or bass pro. You order 1 pack of something, you get one pack. The old way of ordering in bulk is gone
I was on a lake house vacation and I wasn’t catching much bass at all! I caught only three on hit my tiny bitsy bug jig when I was reeling it in on the top of the water and I could two on soft plastic strike king creature baits, I really couldn’t tell what stage they were in but I was really struggling to catch bass and I was fishing right around docks. FYI this was in Kentucky. Anyways I was hoping you might know the reason why?
Sadly, most of the places I fished while in town were private, so you would not be able to get access to fish there. The only two I really know about are the pond at the junction, and the pond at Finfeather. I didn’t do a whole lot of public pond fishing when I was up there
Did he just say the north doesn't get a hot summer?? Try again, bud. It gets hot as balls, our air is a lot thicker due to power plants, we have a lot of humid summers to wear you can literally feel the heat like its grabbing you. I lived in bama for some time and I tell you what, I'll trade those days for the Norths.
Why don't you ever talk about any states west of Texas or do any fishing west of Texas I'm from Arizona and this side of the country really feels left out of your videos
It feels left out of my videos, because it is. I’m sure there is some amazing fishing out there, but it just doesn’t fit with my schedule, or my budget, to fish out in the west coast. I hardly ever mention the West Coast in my videos, since I do not have a whole lot of experience out there. My tips can definitely apply out there, I just don’t want to speak on something I have not experienced

A whole new meaning to flipping tires lol. Amazing
Yep haha
Y'all into fishing? Listen to what this man is spitting here, so many nuggets of gold involved in this session. Take notes and set that alarm clock!!
🙌🏼
Those tires were incredible!!!!
Holy cow, those tires!!!! So glad I watched the whole video!!
Ya gotta!
Iowa? Whaaaat? The desert of bassfishing, c'mon man Nebraska dude Nebraska! Help me out!!
Great video Tyler. You just have to love Texas. Hope to make it down there someday.
Come on down!
Awesome video! Always nuggets of info to use.
I live here in Michigan I’m up on the lake by daybreak every morning that I can that’s my best time to catch them.

Great video Tyler, always so much knowledge in the master classes and tip videos! I liked seeing the Air Bass, very acrobatic! Keep it up!
Tom Cruise doesn’t fly through the air as fast as these bass do!
@@TylersReelFishing Tom Cruise only goes mach 1, the bass go mach 3, lol!
Learned something new about how the bait fish spawn. Thanks for the video.
Epic tire fishing Tyler, those were some nice catches...
Definitely some of the most fun ever!

You’ve been getting up early and catching um recently! You’ve been on fire!
Another awesome video. Thanks for teaching all of us new tricks
Of course! Thanks for watching and commenting!
That catch was definitely worth watching again 💪🏼
I’d say!
Crazy, always a pleasure to watch
Was for sure some of the craziest footage I have ever captured
Well Done Tyler, very informative. good stuff
Thank you Wilmer!
That was a great video Tyler!! Good job!
Thank you Shawn!
That tire catch was absolutely epic!
Crazy right!!
Great information and fishing. Thank you.
Wicked catches bro!!!
Pretty nuts!
Man pitching into those tires and the 4, 5 and 6lb bass blowing up on that frog was epic stuff!
Just wait till July… I’ve got some even more epic tire content
@@TylersReelFishing looking forward to it!

That was so cool fishing in those tires, I wish I could get on fish like that. Gotta love it!

“Fish juices” 🤣😂🤣 that’s definitely a scientific term Tyler!

I guess what I was saying, is that you don’t have bait fish that act in the same way during their spawn
I caught a giant 4 pound smallmouth perch fishing right at like 9:35 good way to end it
Nice video!! Keep it up!👍🏻

Florida needs its own category for spawning 😂
It really does lol. Y’all have wild weather

The bass there are most likely spawn to post spawn. Sometimes it be like that. Not much I can really tell you without being there myself
@@TylersReelFishing ok thank you though!
fyi i got a fishing channel too you're a real inspiration
What about Washington state what are the months here I can never catch fish because the weather here is so bipolar
You can always throw a drop shot up there
When is the spawning szn for California
Right now
Tyler, Would you recommend using a topwater in 65-degree water temperature?
I would say so! But if you have a 65° day in the winter, no. Selecting lures is less about specific air temperature, as it is season
TylersReelFishing. Ok, thank you!
Tyler do you think the shad are spawning here in Alabama?
Yes they should be
Where do the shad go after they spawn....wouldn't that be the next place to go for you as well?
They go out deep!
I cant believe that fish inside the tire. Holly smokes.
Believe it! Got more footage like this coming in July
Hey man I’m from college station! What’s the biggest fish you’ve ever caught here in cstat? & any spots here in town you’d recommend?

Do bluegill spawn in pairs?
I believe so. I hardly ever see two at one time though. Most of the time you just see one
Now what about a herring spawn is that the same type of thing
Yes
Yo Tyler, I think you may have crapped your pants on that hook set out of the tire, sounded like it lol.
Yeah just about lol
LovIn it! Stop by the grand Ave barber shop in mcalester Ok 👌🏻 boat parking available 🔌
Flipped that 6lber like it was nothing!
Been hittin the gym!
What if you're fishing a pond with no shad !
I address that in the video! Still stuff to learn!
Did you get "tired" of catching them?
Lol
Bro. Go back to those tires and do another video! Not everyone comes across something like that and if they do they ain't tossing in a tire 👏🏽
Got some content coming from some tires that I’m saving till I’m low on content… just wait. It’s nuts
